The beach sweater, some outfit plans, and thinning hair….
What do they have in common? Absolutely nothing.
Except I wanted to talk about all 3 things today.
So here we are. 😉
Let’s just get started…
THE BEACH SWEATER
I bought a white beach sweater from Loft probably 5-6 years ago that was very similar to the sweater below. I loved that Loft sweater so much that by the end of the season I also had an olive green one and a hot pink one. All 3 still hang in my closet today, and I still wear all three (although they are finally beginning to show signs of wear). I mean, it isn’t surprising since I’ve worn them and washed them countless times over the years.
Well, this sweater is the most similar sweater I’ve found since that OG sweater 5 years ago. And right now it’s 50% OFF!!!
And because I now know how much I’ll wear it, I immediately bought this new one in 3 colors while it was on sale. I have white, the neutral stripe, and the blue. But dang the pink is cute too. 😉
The sweater is a perfect staple for everybody to have at least 1 in their closet. It’s great for spring, but since it’s super lightweight, you’ll also find it’s good all the way thru summer. I will say that the sizing does seem a bit inconsistent, but that’s okay. I have a medium in all 3 colors, but the white one seems a bit bigger than the others. I would say to consider sizing down if between sizes.
THESE DENIM SHORTS ARE SO GOOD. They have a 6″ inseam, so they provide a good amount of length, but I don’t feel matronly in them at all! I just feel covered, but cute. Basically, I still feel like a cool and hip mom, while managing to stay totally age appropriate. They are slim cut (which makes them flattering), but I love the roominess of the leg opening. I’m wearing my regular size 4. Also, they’re pretty affordable at $79!!!

I’m sorry, but how good is this neutral stripe? Totally classic and oh so chic. And you’re not going to believe it, but this wood necklace is under $10 on Amazon.
These drawstring shorts are 100% cotton with a 4″ inseam, and they’re 50% OFF TOO! They’ve got a relaxed vibe, and I know I’ll be reaching for them all summer long. I’m wearing a 6 here, but they aren’t as loose as I wanted them to be, so I’m going to exchange for an 8 so they’ll be a little more roomy on me.

You knew I’d pair the neutral stripe with my cream jeans, right? 😉 And with my favorite new chunky heart turquoise necklace.
These wide leg cream jeans are adorable and so on trend. But although they’re called “cream”, they don’t lean yellow like many creams do, so I think of them more like an ecru. They’re just a perfect neutral. They’ve got a great amount of stretch, but they still manage to maintain their shape. And although they are definitely a wide leg, I think they are still quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

I love this heathered blue too and paired with the red necklace I’m all set for Memorial Day and July 4th!
These denim shorts have been an absolute favorite of mine for several years now. And if you apply the code SUNNYSTEALS today you can grab these shorts for ONLY $24.35! We’re talking HALF OFF. I call them my toddler shorts because they have an elastic back, although the front button and zipper are fully functioning. I already own them in the “rocky blue” and the “medium indigo wash”. This year they also come in olive, natural, light pink, and black. They are lightweight, comfy, and a perfectly relaxed fit. For size reference, the size medium is perfect on me.

And then I wanted to show the stripe with the shorts too… because of course I did…

And one more outfit…not with the beach sweater… but with a different top from J Crew Factory.
This striped smocked top would be another great choice for Memorial Day. It’s a soft cotton button up with feminine detailing that can be dressed up or down. Love it with the denim shorts here, but it will also be great with white jeans. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

SOME OUTFIT PLANS
I always love the feedback I get from y’all after I put together outfit plan collages, so I thought I would do some today featuring some new shoes I just got.
I’ll be honest, when Naturalizer reached out to me to see if I wanted to try their summer shoes, I wasn’t sure at first. I knew Naturalizer was a brand known for comfort, but I didn’t know if I was going to love the look. WELL, I was beyond impressed at how adorable some of the options were! I asked them to send me these slingback flats and these these raffia block heels, and I seriously can’t believe how cute they are in person. I’ll be featuring them on me later this week, but today you get them in outfit plans!
These raffia block heels are really cute (and really tall)! Great news though, they somehow manage to be still super comfortable and easy to walk in! They are true to size as well. For some reason, I sized up a 1/2 in these, but they were definitely too big. Stick to your regular size.
And y’all. This top handle bag is absolutely darling and 40% OFF.

Another look with the heels. I’m loving the coral and pink styled with the turquoise necklace.

Y’all know I love a Farm Rio dress. They are always just so colorful and playful!

Now let’s styled some outfits with these slingback flats. They’re a great cognac colorful with natural accents, and I love the super casual espadrille vibe. True to size and incredibly cushy and comfy. I’m going to highlight this little set later in the week with this darling bag and my favorite new necklace!

Can you tell I’m really digging short sets lately, because I totally am. The print on this set is great. I’m going to order it to see what I think, so I’m going to go ahead and throw this necklace in the cart too. I mean, how could I not.

MY HAIR IS THINNING 🙁
I Finally Started Using Nutrafol, y’all. After seeing it on social medial for years and hearing first-hand about how incredible it is from two of my best friends (shout Out, Shay and Cassie), I was always just on the edge of trying the program too. So when Nutrafol reached out to see if I wanted to give the supplements a shot, that was obviously just the little nudge I needed.
Actually, I want to be a little more transparent. I tried to take the supplements a couple of years ago after seeing Shay’s and Cassie’s hair growth and overall results (they absolutely swear by their results), but I just couldn’t keep up with the 4 pills a day. I stopped like a week in, BUT HERE’S WHY…
At that point in my life, I wasn’t having any hair issues yet, so it just seemed like too much. I was just wanting to be preventative, and 4 pills a day seemed a bit much for preventative treatment.
WELL. Now I’m starting to have hair issues. And my goodness I wish I would have started before now.
But better late than never, y’all! And now I’ve finally started taking Nutrafol. And I mean really taking it.

For anyone not familiar, Nutrafol is a hair wellness supplement that’s designed to target thinning hair from multiple angles like stress, hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle. And because of my advanced age (did you hear me yelp when I said that?), I went with the Women’s Balance bottles.

This was on the side of the box, and I wanted to stand up and clap when I read it.
Because this thinning hair stuff, IT IS NO FUN. I want to keep feeling like me! And I want my hair to keep looking like my hair!
Is this expensive? Yes. It is a commitment? Yes. But am I going to do it anyway? YES.
It basically comes down to this…
My hair is important to helping me feel like me, even as I’m aging, so I’m willing to put forth some effort to support it.

Here’s a peek at the ingredients…
I’m no doctor (obviously), so you might want to consult with your doctor to make sure if you’re already taking other supplements that this isn’t going to end up giving you too much Vitamin D or something like that. I mean, you might get to stop taking other things because this might be enough? I have no idea (obviously), just throwing that out there.
I do appreciate that the ingredients are more wellness-focused than medication-focused. The formula includes things like ashwagandha, marine collagen, vitamins, and botanicals meant to support overall hair health.

Now here’s the kicker, not only are there 4 pills a day, but it takes at least 3 months to start seeing results, which is another reason I didn’t stick with it. BUT AGAIN, now that I’m actually having hair issues , I’m willing to commit to 4 pills and 3 months to see results. I definitely don’t want the problem getting any worse than I already feel like it is, and I would be absolutely thrilled with actual regrowth. So fingers crossed! (FYI: My main issues right now are thinning at the temples and overall shedding.)
Again, I’m taking the Women’s Balance, but there are other formulas including the option for younger women, a vegan option, and a postpartum option. There are two options for men as well!

I’ve only been using it for about two weeks, so this is definitely not a “before-and-after” review yet, but I’m hoping there will be a great one down the road!
Right now, I’m just committing to my part in this: I’m going to actively try to do something to help this issue/problem, rather than just sitting back and watching it happen.
I will say that it feels good to be committed to actively doing something to help my situation. And I’m proud of myself for making the decision to be more intentional about taking care of my hair!!!

I’ll of course keep y’all updated as I’m further into the journey, but I’m excited to start seeing results!

SUPERGOOP FINAL HOURS
Oh wait! One more thing before you go! The incredible SUPERGOOP SALE (the biggest sale they do all year) is in its FINAL HOURS!
Just in case you missed it, click HERE to see the entire post. If you aren’t already a Supergoop shopper, you should really go check out the post to learn about the brand and read about my very favorite products.
And I’m telling you, IT IS TIME TO STOCK UP! Even regular ol’ sunscreen in the store (like Coppertone and stuff) is soooo expensive now, so scoring Supergoop at 20% OFF with much cleaner ingredients just makes good sense.
On the post I review all of my favorite products. I use several, but my two favorites are…
- The Unseen Sunscreen! It’s the best face sunscreen I’ve ever used in my whole life and I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s a MUST HAVE for me for sure, and it won an Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2025.It’s weightless, invisible, scent free, and gives incredible coverage and protection. My skin absorbs it very quickly (like IMMEDIATELY!) and there is NO TRACE of it. It’s not oily or greasy, it gives a matte finish, and it doesn’t leave any white residue behind either. In fact, I think it goes on and feels just like a high-end primer. It’s velvety in texture and it totally just glides on your skin, both under and even over your makeup. (I usually hate the feel of sunscreen on my face, but not with the this!) Also, from reading reviews it seems it’s awesome for people with super sensitive skin. I’m telling you, the product is absolutely incredible. If you’re going to buy just one thing from the sale, buy the Unseen Sunscreen. I’m going to grab 2.The Supergoop Glow Screen is another sunscreen for your face, but this one can also basically double as a light foundation. If it’s just a regular day for me, I’m going to use the Unseen Sunscreen on my face before I apply my regular face make-up. If I’m going to be in the sun for a prolonged period of time and a full face of makeup isn’t the vibe, I’m going to choose the Glow Screen. It provides coverage (obviously) along with some great color! And please don’t let the “GLOW” in the name scare you. It’s very subtle and just really pretty!I seriously cannot recommend these products enough. I want all of you to try them because they are truly amazing.Unseen Sunscreen / Glow Screen

- Just the way the Unseen Sunscreen is the GOAT for SPF for my face, this Body Mist is the GOAT for the rest of me.It’s a weightless, non-aerosol sunscreen body spray that is water & sweat-resistant & leaves skin radiantly glowing. It’s a super fine mist that you can spray on to wet or dry skin, which I love, but Chris and Carter might love it even more. Mainly because you won’t have that “I’m covered in sunscreen feeling” after you apply it! Carter HATES that feeling. It sprays on evenly any which way you hold the can, and it obviously gives great protection. You can also grab a 3-pack of your favorite scent HERE. I like the “sunny citrus”, and I love the “whipped coconut”. I haven’t yet tried the “vanilla orchid”.Body Mist SPF 50
There are other products I love and highly recommend, but the above are my tip top favorites. Head to the post if you want to learn about all the others.

That’s all for today, y’all! Have a great Monday!
