Summer Finds for Under $50

We’re three weeks into summer now, and we are having a ball over here. I hope all of you are living it up too!

I remember summers when Carter was little…. summer was fun… but it was also exhausting. Now it’s nothing but fun!

And while we’re talking about fun, I’ve got a fun collage for y’all today with nothing but UNDER $50 Summer Finds!

1) 1-piece swimsuit / I’m a 1-piece gal. Always have been, always will be. I love the vibrant orange in this suit and the modest cut, but it’s also got some sexy cut outs in the back that aren’t too revealing.

2) beaded earrings (Rio) / I ordered these immediately. I mean, how could I not. I have other Ink + Alloy pieces, I’m obsessed with all of them, and these look awesome. These will add so much color and sass to pretty much any summer outfit.

3) insulated travel mug / This mug is adorable. Keep your hot tea or hot coffee warm for hours and sip it in style.

4) blingy sandals / These came in last week, and I can’t wait to show them on me on Friday’s post. They are super comfy with a cushioned footbed, and the bling is fabulous.

5) flip flops / These are super simple and actually pretty dang chic. And they are right at $10. TEN DOLLARS. I just got them for a future post and love them.

6) beaded stone necklace / Colorful beaded stone jewelry is all the rage right now, and the colors in this necklace are so beautiful.

7) teardrop earrings / Teardrop earrings are also trending, and this pair is only $9.99 with excellent reviews.

8) beaded bracelet set / I own several Ink + Alloy bracelet sets and highly recommend them. Wear them on their own or stack them with other bracelets for an even more dramatic look.

9) off the shoulder top / A navy eyelet off the shoulder top screams summer. Pair with denim shorts for a casual look or white jeans for a nautical vibe.

10) short sleeve cardigan / This is the cardigan that I already have in the royal blue and white stripe with the red trim. It’s very well made, so soft, and has such a cute fit… so I grabbed it in red too. It’s supposed to get here today!

11) straw tote / Y’all have been seeing this straw bag with pom poms on this blog for several years now. I pull it out every summer and am so happy to have it in my closet. It’s a happy little bag that is so cute with tons of different outfits.

12) strapless maxi dress / This dress is fabulous. It’s actually quite dramatic in real life because the skirt is quite full and voluminous. I would actually describe the fit as more of a ball gown than a standard maxi. It’s seriously like a chic and elegant cotton ball gown. 🙂

13) tie back blouse / Grab it in this pink, in white, in soft jade, or in navy. From the front, it has a tiny pleated neckline and a subtle gathered and ruffled sleeve. In the back, you get a keyhole and a tie.

14) eyelet sleeve tee / A basic tee with a little bit of flare on the eyelet sleeves. I think this soft lilac color is so pretty.

15) sleeveless bias midi dress / Y’all know that Kelly green is one of my favorite colors, so this dress immediately caught my eye. If you’ve got great arms, this dress will do a fantastic job of showing them off. It’s made of substantial linen that could be dressed up and styled with heels, a clutch, and gold jewelry. I think you could also go the tote and sneakers route.

16) gauze swing dress / This is my kind of dress. A relaxed and swingy fit, a split neck, and some sleeves with a bit of length. It also comes in olive, black, white, and a vibrant orange and blue.

OTHER UNDER $50 FAVORITES

I have this cover up in both black and hot pink (but I haven’t showed the hot pink yet). This black crochet cover up is totally chic, but if you grab it in one of the bright colors, it will just be fun!  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This smocked dress is DARLING. The top is smocked and super comfy, the tie straps are adjustable, and the skirt is long and flowy. To sum it up, the dress is DARLING. I’m wearing the “blue” which is 5th from the left on the top row, but it’s obviously so much more than just blue. And it actually comes in 28 color options. I also love the classic black, the “dark blue”, the “orange” with a tiny floral, and the “pink” with a geometric pattern. This is a really great dress. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I don’t know how this magical bra does it, but it gives shape and support that you typically only get from underwire bras. Andthe comfort level is insane. Warner’s Women’s Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free Bra

It’s got perfectly rounded cups (I don’t enjoy a pointy boob), and the entire thing is stretchy and feels amazing on. Doesn’t it look SO COMFY? This bra even has extra side coverage panels that smooth out underarm bulge, not that any of us have any underarm bulge. #coughcough #winkwink

The colors, the pattern, the fit, the drawstring waist, the flutter sleeves, and the pockets! I LOVE IT ALL!

The quality is EXCELLENT, and it feels and wears like a much more expensive dress. It’s even lined!

And you’re not going to believe this, but it’s only $28. TWENTY EIGHT DOLLARS.

I’m telling you, I would pay $128 for this dress without even batting an eye.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small. It’s a little tight through the chest (I have boobs and a big ol’ rib cage), but the medium was too big everywhere else, so I went with the small.

This is how I see myself wearing it the most. In fact, I wore this exact combo all around town 2 days in a row this past week. 😉

These short sets are so fun for summer. These sets are so easy to just slip on and look totally put together while still being super comfortable. The material is very lightweight, and it says the set is 100% cotton, but it definitely has a gauzy feel. I’m wearing a medium and definitely needed a medium in the top, but I could have done a small in the shorts. Since the set is sold in 1 size, I went with the mediums.

This cross body bag is one of my favorite summer bags. This is the strap that comes with it, but I have others that I like to switch out for different looks too.

I LOVE this baby doll dress. I love the length, I love the fit, I love the color, I love it all. I grabbed a quick pic of it right out of the package even though it was all wrinkly, so it will look even better when steamed. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
