Today’s post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle.
Spring has sprung, y’all! In fact, it feels dang near like summer in my area. Yesterday it got up to 87 degrees for crying out loud! I will say this, the warmer temperatures have definitely inspired me to perk up my wardrobe with some fresh new pieces, so I of course headed to Nordstrom online. #becauseitsjustsoeasy #andfreeshippingkeepsmecomingback
When browsing online, I saw so many wonderful new releases that have me super excited for warmer temperatures. I even pulled together some of my picks for our guys at the bottom of the post!
But let’s start with us!
When I buy a new item of clothing, I always want to make sure there are multiple ways I’ll be able to wear it. We all need the pieces we add to our closets to be versatile. Because in the real world, we all wear items again and again. And again. Sometimes, that might mean completely revamping a piece into a completely different outfit, but other times that just means shifting accessories a bit to give an outfit a new feel. Today I’m going to do just that. I’m going to show you the same top and pair of jeans in two different looks, and all I’m going to do is switch up my bags and my shoes. (If you would like to see other Style It Again posts, you can click HERE.)
When doing my spring shopping, I grabbed several new pieces that I know are going to be incredibly versatile and will be able to be mixed and matched into all sorts of different outfits for the next several months. You’ll be seeing my tip top favorites tomorrow and Friday as well.
LOOK #1: Wrap Top and Jeans with Wedges and a Neutral Cross Body Bag
One of the new pieces I picked up was this wrap top. It’s a crisp linen and beautifully made. It’s heavier than a normal linen, and it seems to not wrinkle as badly as a normal linen either, which is awesome. I don’t believe that I have any wrap tops in my closet or anything in my closet that is this color, so I was pumped to find it. I love the warm rusty pink color.
I wrapped the ties around my back to create this short little knot in the front, but if you look on the site, you will see that you can also choose to simply tie it in the front with longer tails. For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the top.

I knew I wanted a neutral bag, so I grabbed the one below, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how often I reach for it! In the past, I’ve always chosen cognac bags over a lighter neutral bag, but this one has been such a great addition to my closet.
Sadly, the neutral version of this particular bag is sold out (it is still available in a beautiful poppy), so I rounded up several other neutral bags for you to choose from. Just click on what you are interested in, and make sure you scroll to the right to see all of the choices! Look at the amazing prices!
I decided to stick with mostly neutrals and gold tones when accessorizing this look. And I also wanted it to be a bit dressy.
The sunglasses are only $16 and are a wonderful option for those of you that are constantly losing your sunnies. But here’s the greatest thing about them, you would never know they are $16. The metal finish is so pretty and the arms are nice and sturdy.
The earrings are a splurge, but I fell in love with them. UPDATE: THEY WENT 40% OFF THIS MORNING!!!! The fringe sways and gives the earrings movement, but it’s the color palette that initially drew me to the earrings. Pink, green, and leopard together? YES, PLEASE! Plain gold earrings would also be gorgeous with this look.
The stretch bracelets are a great new find as well, and you are going to be seeing different bracelets from the collection the rest of this week. BECAUSE I’M LEGIT OBSESSED WITH THE BRAND. The bracelets featured today are beautiful blush, orange, and cream tones. You purchase them in sets of 2, and they are wonderful worn on their own. They are also great stacked, and tomorrow you will see them stacked with some others!

I’m wearing this lipstick (in “pillow talk”) with this lip gloss (in “love child”). (If you want to know more about my 5 minute makeup routine, you can click HERE.)
Now, let’s talk about the jeans.
I set out to find a great pair of summer jeans. I knew I wanted a light wash and a summer feel. #MISSIONACCOMPLISHED
Today is the first time you are seeing them on the blog, but you are going to be seeing them the rest of the week as well! They are Kut from the Kloth of course, and as a part of my brand ambassadorship, this is the second pair of boyfriend jeans I’ve tried from the brand (I highlighted and reviewed several skinny leg options HERE).
You can change the size of the cuff, but I loved the look of the really large cuff at the bottom. The distressing is obviously noticeable, but there are no open holes, and I prefer it that way.
I’m wearing my regular size 4s here, but I would definitely suggest sizing down if between sizes.

LOOK #2: Wrap Top and Jeans with Leopard Flats and a Cognac Tote
For this Style it Again challenge, I kept things super simple. The only things I changed were the shoes and the bag. I switched out my gold wedges for flats and a dressier bag for a tote! Oh, and I added a bandana.
Just two simple changes gave the outfit a much more casual vibe.

The tote is one that you’ve seen a lot around here. Just last week I started tying a bandana around one of the handles, and I can’t get enough.
To be honest, now the bag feels naked to me without a bandana. You can click HERE to have a myriad of bandanas to choose from, and you can click HERE to see my post dedicated to bags and bandanas.
And my trusty leopard flats are always down to participate in a restyle. They always up the interest and the sass factor.
I’ve had leopard flats for years and they have always been a staple for me. These were my GO TOs for 5 years or so before I added this pointy toe version to my closet just this year. I think the pointy toe makes them more fresh and modern, and they feel more suited for warmer months. They are true to size for me and comfy.

If you want to keep styling the wrap top other ways, some more ideas follow:
*with white jeans, all gold jewelry, gold espadrille wedges, and a leopard clutch
*with black jeans, a cognac bag, and my cognac must have wedges
*super casually with distressed denim shorts and slide sandals
The top is Treasure and Bond, as are our favorite must have wedges. And I know I’ve mentioned this before, but when you buy Treasure & Bond, Nordstrom will donate 2.5% of net sales to organizations that work to empower youth. How cool is that! Here are some other current Treasure and Bond favorites:
The pink and red statement bag I featured a couple of weeks ago is also Treasure and Bond! Clearly, I’m a fan. Click HERE if you want to see how I styled the below bag 3 different ways!

Before we wrap today up, I’ve been getting a fair amount of requests for MEN’S SPRING FASHION, so I hopped around the site and picked some favorites! Nordstrom has some great house brands for men as well!
1. regular fit polo – These polos are made of a soft and comfy fabric, and they come in an array of colors. A great everyday shirt.
2. wool stretch blazer (slim fit) – Only 11 reviews, but they are all 5 STAR. If your guy needs a blazer, check this one out.
3. traditional fit NON IRON gingham shirt – NOW ON SALE! I repeat, NON IRON. These classic shirts come in Regular, Tall, and Big!
4. trim fit NON IRON dress shirt – This shirt has a couple of not so stellar reviews, but the majority of the reviews are glowing.
5. cashmere crew neck sweater – This soft and lightweight cashmere sweater is a classic piece that would fit well into any man’s closet. If it’s going to be worn over a button up, size up 1.
6. Mavi straight leg jeans – These jeans are stretchy and a great medium wash.
7. stretch chino pants – These are a slim fit, but a great look and they wash well. Consider sizing up. Not for guys with athletic thighs.
8. plaid sport shirt – I love the colors in this plaid cotton twill shirt. Would look great with both khakis and jeans.
9. non iron dress shirt – Same as #4, just a different color.
10. chino shorts – These are 9 inch, but they come in an 11 inch version too and come in 3 additional colors, including a classic khaki.
11. silk tie – 6 color choices in this crisp grid pattern, made from 100% silk.
12. leather belt – A beautiful color in a classic leather belt.

Do you know if those adorable Kut boyfriends come in a petite length? I wear a 4P in their dark stretch boyfriends and the length is perfect; I’m a shorty – 5’2″.
Could you please let us know if that darling neutral colored bag comes back in stock or there is another place you can link to? It is exactly what I’ve been looking for!!

Hi, Gail! I don’t believe that particular pair comes in petite. So sorry! And yes, I’ll keep an eye out for a bag restock! xoxo
