I’m absolutely thrilled to be partnering again with Mon Amie today to let you know about their beautiful watches and their initiative to DO GOOD, SEE GOOD, SHARE GOOD. I first partnered with them back in December when I introduced you to the brand and highlighted the blush pink watch (dedicated to helping women with pre-natal care). Today I’m going to be sharing their black watch dedicated to education.
Stated simply, Mon Amie was created to enable people to give and empower others. The brand is rooted in 5 causes: food, education, opportunity, health, and water. All extremely important facets of life, and all areas that I’m quite sure most of us take for granted. The watches in Mon Amie’s debut collection do two things: 1) they help families in Kenya (learn about specifics in a minute), and 2) they empower the people wearing the watches by inspiring us regular folks to be a part of the change we want to see in the world!
The 5 specific causes that Mon Amie champions are outlined below, and you can get a closer look at how each watch makes an impact.
- Health watch: Purchase gives prenatal care for one woman
- Education watch: Purchase gives school supplies for a classroom
- Food watch: Purchase gives school lunches for two months for one child
- Opportunity watch: Purchase gives financial literacy training for 10 women
- Water watch: Purchase gives clean water for a family for two weeks
The watch I’m highlighting today is rooted in improving education. It has a black leather band and a star icon at the 12:00 index. I love the black face, the size of the face, the gold trim, and the little crystals and stars found at all of the indexes. It’s a really beautiful watch, and a really great deal at $125. (AND I have a discount code for you at the bottom of the post!)
With the purchase of this watch, you’ll be making an impact by giving school supplies to an entire classroom in Kenya. How cool is that. And look how pretty the watch is! The black is so striking.

layered sweater / similar sunglasses / must have denim jacket / white jeans / cognac wedges / clutch / education watch c.o. Mon Amie
Get The Look For Yourself Here:
The layered sweater is mixed media and perfect for Spring. The front is sweater like material, and the back is the same “tulip garden” material as the peplum hem. I love the elbow length tulip sleeves, because they lay with a bit of a ruffle and are so feminine. The top is very flattering and the colors are gorgeous for Spring and all the way into Summer.
The jacket is the same one I’ve been talking about for 4 years now. It truly is a must have. And ladies, this clutch is fabulous too. It’s a perfect size for a night out (easily fits lipstick, keys, phone, and some other small items), and the wooden circle handle is such a wonderful detail. It’s hard to believe, but it’s only $25.
I know I’ve talked about these cognac wedges several times already, but now that I’ve walked all around downtown McKinney in them, I can now vouch for their extreme comfort.
I have seen reviews that suggest sizing up a 1/2 size if your foot is wide, but they are true to size for me. They fit like a dream!
I love the pop of black that the watch gives this very Spring outfit!
It’s a wonderful watch, and it has the ability to spark a conversation about doing good!
And great news: Use the code MA25247 to receive 25% off your order at Mon Amie! And don’t worry, each watch will still provide the same support for the cause it represents!
All of the watches come boxed beautifully and with an “extra” of some sort. This particular watch comes with a special beaded bracelet to wear with pride or share with love.
No matter which cause and Mon Amie watch you choose, you’ll be joining a community of people who are working to make the world better! Again, here are you choices:
Thank you to Mon Amie for sponsoring this post and for inspiring us to be the change!

I treated myself to the blush watch when you talked about them back in December. I love it, and I receive compliments on it all the time. I do love the idea of a black one. Your pictures are so pretty today. Who took them and where were you?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Elizabeth! So happy you are loving your watch. They really are so pretty and the message is so great! Thanks for the kind words about the pictures. Chris (my hubby) took them and we were just walking around the McKinney Square. I love strolling the square when the weather is pretty! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂

I love the black clutch and the black watch with this outfit. I never would have thought to put them with this Springy outfit with the pastel colors, but I really love it.
Sheaffer says
Thanks, Savannah! When I started putting the outfit together for the post I had a black peasant top with the white jeans at first, but I really liked the contrast with the black and the light colors. I’m definitely going to be doing this more often now! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂

I love the watches! I’m trying to buy one for my best friend, but the code won’t work. Is there a minimum amount you have to purchase to use it?
Sheaffer says
I’m checking into it right now! I know there’s not a minimum amount, so I’m thinking there must be an updated code! I will update my post once I hear back! Thanks! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Sheaffer says
The code has been fixed! Shop away!!! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
