 Before we start the actual post today, I have a request for all of you ladies!
I’ve been receiving some blog comments with questions that I am unable to respond to because the commenter is “anonymous” or because they accidentally have “no reply” clicked on their settings.
I don’t like taking the time to write a long response on my blog comments, because I’m never sure if the person who wrote the comment is going to check back for an answer.
Sooooo, to help me fix this problem I need YOUR help!
If you have a comment or a question that you would like me to personally respond to, e-mailing me directly is the best way to make sure not only that I see the comment (on high comment days, if I’m publishing them on my phone some might get lost in the shuffle),
 but that you also get a response from me!

It’s basically June.

That means school is about to be out.

Well…I finally met her last year..and I’ve seen her several times since…
and she is just as sweet as can be!

Back to the bag and the tassel.
Both of them are going to be with me all summer long,
because heaven help me I’m obsessed.

I thought you might also appreciate an inside look at the bag.
Here you see my wallet, my make-up bag, and my S&D pouch that holds lots of random stuff like a small hairbrush, a pen, mints, some ponytail holders, and other random stuff like that.
All of them fit in the bag easily.
I’ve also had an umbrella and my  planner in it too!
It has a one snap closure, and it looks good when it’s all snapped up. but it also looks great not snapped.
I’m telling you, the convenience of this tote has made it my summer bag for sure!
I throw things in easily, I grab things quickly, and I love it.
I always thought I was a girl that really wanted a zipper on a bag, but apparently that’s not the case!

I fell in love with the coral color, but I also think the aqua and the sand are awesome too!
And it really is the perfect size.
Big enough to hold lots of stuff…but not too big that it’s hard to carry or find things in!
Everything is at your fingertips!
Cute AND Functional?  Yes, please.

 Now let’s give some love to the tassel.
So, where in the world did I find this tassel?  Well, I first saw it on my friend Cassie’s blog.  She was carrying it on a navy and white striped tote, and I just couldn’t get over how cute it was.  Cassie had taken an already super cute tote and took it to a whole new level of cuteness just by adding the colorful and whimsical tassel!  So yeah, I fell in love with it the first time I saw it on the blog, and when I saw it in person on her tote I fell in love even more
But for some strange reason I didn’t order it.
Silly me.
And then I saw it on her blog one morning last week, and I had it ordered by like 6:10 a.m.
Enough was enough.  It was time for me to own that tassel.

And let me let you in on a little secret.
This bag didn’t have anywhere for me to attach the tassel, so I wrapped dental floss around one of the handles and then clipped it on the floss. Since taking this picture, I did trim the floss. 😉
Cassie would suggest using a really thin ribbon.
That’s why she has a wildly populst DIY blog and I don’t. 🙂
