Happy Monday, y’all!
It’s a very happy Monday over here because there’s NO SCHOOL today!!! We never had to use a bad weather day this year, which means we got a 3-day weekend this weekend. WOOHOO! We don’t have any big plans today, but we sure are going to enjoy the extra down time.
For today’s post, I have a handful of outfits for you with some really great pieces. Some pieces you’ve seen before and I’ve mixed and matched them into new outfits today, but some pieces are brand spanking new.
This first outfit has 3 new pieces including the dress, bag, and wedges.
OUTFIT #1
Ladies.
THIS DRESS.
floral cotton poplin minidress / sunglasses / chunky hoop earrings / bracelet / raffia bag / wedges
I love everything about this dress.
It has a bright and happy floral pattern, a swingy fit, billowy sleeves, gorgeous pleating, tassels, and all sorts of pretty little details. And I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention this, but it also has pockets. And my goodness I love a dress with pockets.
The background is a soft lilac color, the floral pattern is orange and green, and then there are navy details throughout. The skirt is short and flirty, and I love it.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. (I normally wear a medium in dresses, but I took a gamble and ordered a small because I could tell it was going to be an oversized fit. I’m glad I got the small.)

This dress is expensive, but when you see all of the amazing details in person, the price tag makes sense. (You can click HERE to see other pieces from the brand.)
I’m happy to have this in my closet, and I’m excited to wear it tomorrow night to Carter’s soccer banquet.
floral cotton poplin minidress / sunglasses / chunky hoop earrings / bracelet / raffia bag / wedges
I’ve owned both the sunglasses and the chunky hoop earrings for years and years now. I highly recommend both, along with the bracelet in the next shot.

The bracelet is one cuff, and it makes quite a statement.
Also, I want to draw your attention to the dress colors in this shot. I think this is a much truer representation of the vibrancy of the dress. Some of the other shots make the dress appear more muted, but I don’t feel like that’s the case in real life.
And notice the tiny little ruffle and all of the gorgeous pleats on the drop hem. So so pretty. And the coordinating pattern on the banded hem is such a nice touch.

Here’s a close up of the bag and the shoes. I’ll talk about them later in the post in other outfits.
I also wanted to show this dress styled a bit more casually with flat sandals and a bigger bag.
floral cotton poplin minidress / sunglasses / chunky hoop earrings / bracelet / raffia sandals
This is one of those dresses where I absolutely know I’m going to get tons of wear out of it, so I’m able to justify the higher price tag.
It really is a stunner in person.

OUTFIT #2
These mid-rise flare jeans have mixed reviews online, but I happen to think they’re awesome. They’ve got a slight flare leg, which is totally on trend, and I love the wash and the length. I’m 5’4″ with long legs for my height (and no torso! ha!). They are a shorter ankle length on the model, but they are longer on me. I like this length on me, but I think they’d be cute shorter too! They are a mid-rise, and I think they fit like a trouser jean up top with how the waistband and pockets are placed. I rarely find myself reaching for skinny jeans anymore, and I can now confidently say that I’ve fully embraced straight leg, flare leg, and boot cut options. I sized up to a 6 in these jeans for a relaxed feel.

And I’m completely smitten with this peasant blouse in this creamy white color. It’s pretty and romantic.
I actually fell in love with it a couple of weeks ago in this soft sage green color, and I couldn’t resist grabbing it in this neutral. It’s a super soft cotton gauze, and I love the feminine detailing of the lace across the chest, the billowy sleeves, and the dainty little buttons. It’s easy, breezy, and my idea of a perfect spring and summer top. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Okay, y’all!
This raffia bag is such a great find!
The neutral-colored raffia paired with the cognac makes it so classic, and I think it has the ability to be styled with so many different types of outfits.
It has an adjustable strap so it can be worn over the shoulder or cross body, and it’s a great price point for this type of quality bag.

These wedges are the same ones I was wearing in outfit #1, and now it’s time to absolutely sing their praises!
THEY ARE FABULOUS.
The platform wedge gives some serious height, but I love that I don’t have to sacrifice comfort for the added inches. They are incredibly comfortable and very easy to walk in. I also love that the strap is adjustable, but it has enough stretch in it that you don’t have to unbuckle and re-buckle them to get them on and off. Just slip them on!
True to size for me. they also come in black and ivory.

OUTFIT #3
For this outfit, I just switched out the light wash denim for these “deep seagrass” jeans. Pairing the creamy white top with this green color was a no brainer.
peasant blouse / sunglasses / long necklace / bracelet / ankle flare jeans / raffia sandals
This blouse really is just so lovely.

From Wit and Wisdom (one of our very favorite brands), you know these ankle flare jeans are both cute and comfy. I love the stretch, I love the length, and I love the frayed hem. They come in 6 total colors and have fantastic reviews.

These raffia sandals are so stylish and so comfortable. The raffia detail coupled with the buckle is such a fun combination. I’m wearing the “cuoio” which is a nice and rich brown, but they also come in a neutral straw color, a robin’s egg blue, and a terra orange. True to size for me.

OUTFIT #4
For this outfit, I’m wearing a white tee and denim jacket you have seen countless times before. And today I’m styling them yet again.
The midi skirt has an elastic waist, pockets, and it oozes charm. I’m wearing the “agril” which is a blush pink, but it also comes in a “soft grey” which I think looks more like khaki than grey. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

You’ve seriously seen this exact denim jacket on me at least 20 times already.
The denim jacket is one of those pieces that I think everybody needs. You can wear it all year long, and it can be styled so many different ways. This one has some stretch in it, and I love the cut and fit (I’m wearing a medium).

I’m so happy about my new espadrille wedge sandals. They’re not too flat, but they’re not too high either. Just a great mid-height sandal. I think often times that wedge sandals look clunky and are unflattering, but not these! Comfy, easy to walk in, and just adorable. True to size for me.

turquoise bracelets / multicolor beaded bracelet
I can think of several different types of events I could wear this outfit too.
