Today’s post is one of my favorite posts each and every month. Today I’m going to share your Top 12 picks from September.

Not surprisingly, many of y’alls Top 12 picks are in my top picks for the month as well. All of the items I’m featuring today are items that I added to my own closet (or already owned), and because of that they are items that you will continue to see on the blog as long as they are in stock.

1) blazer / Let’s talk about the blazer. If you’re a blazer girl, you’re going to want to grab this one. If you’re not, you still might want to give this one a chance.

It’s stretchy with a notch collar, a slim fit, and a pinstriped lining that makes the blazer extra cute when the cuffs are rolled up. The link suggests to size down, but I wish I hadn’t. The small feels tight and pulls across the back a bit. A medium would definitely be a better fit on me.

2) sweater / The acid wash sweater is so soft, I love the color (brown topaz), and the relaxed fit is what my sweater dreams are made of. The sleeves bell out (but just a little bit), and the ribbed collar and cuffs add some nice style. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It also comes in a heathered black and a cream.

3) striped cardigan sweater / Okay, y’all This button down cardigan is straight up fabulous. It comes in 5 colors, and I really love the olive green stripe too. It’s hard to see here because of my dark hair, but it does have a collar. The buttons are tortoise and are functional. This is definitely a sweater you can wear open like below, or you could button it up and wear it without a tee under it. It’s got a little bit of length on it and hits right at my hips. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

4) striped pullover / I mean. How DARLING is this sweater. I love the quarter zip, and you know I love the color combo. It’s very soft and not itchy at all, even though it does have some wool in it. I thought styling it with black jeans and colorful sneakers was kind of an unexpected combo, but I really liked it! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

These sneakers are adorable and they really pack a punch! I’m wearing the “Ice Lavender/ Orange/ Violet”, but they do come in several other color combinations. The vintage vibe is totally cool, and they are quite comfortable! The first time I put them on, I thought my foot looked kind of wide, but all I needed to do was tighten the laces, and then I thought they were very flattering! I would suggest sizing down a 1/2 for sure.

5) twill trucker jacket / This twill jacket is really really good. It has a good amount of stretch in it, the olive color is a perfect neutral, and the subtle cropped and military styling gives it a modern flare. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

7) bracelet set (teal+poppy) / Y’all know I love the Ink + Alloy line, and I recently grabbed this set of bracelets that are in beautiful fall colors (teal + poppy).

I’m LOVING both of these bracelet options for fall.

8) blush pants / These blush patch pocket pants are stretchy and comfy and have a bit of a retro vibe with the front patch pockets. AND THEY ARE ON SALE! I’m 5’4″, and I had to cuff them for them to be cropped. They are actually a raw frayed hem, and I like that look better than having them cuffed, so I’ve decided that I’m going to cut off several inches so I can keep the frayed hem look.

The blush will work in the spring and summer too, but I actually think it’s a great neutral color with a little bit of interest. I think they look awesome styled for fall! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

Here I went with a simple short sleeve ribbed sweater and some leopard loafers. The sweater also comes in off white and stone, which would both also look great with these blush pants. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

9) cardigan / Now for a cardigan that I feel like everybody is going to fall in love with. This is the “khaki”, but it also comes in a light cream (apricot), black, hazlenut, and white. I’m wearing the small here, and it fits kind of close…. but I think I might order a medium because I like how it fits oversized on the models. I actually like how the small fits too, it’s just a different look!

10) leopard Mary Janes / Let’s give a minute to these shoes, because WOW. First of all, if you don’t know, LEOPARD IS BACK IN A BIG WAY.

Now if I’m going to be honest, it’s always been “in” for me. I think the pattern is totally chic and classic, and because of that I never stopped wearing it. But if you follow the trends closely, you know that now it’s officially back. You know what else is trending? Mary Janes! These leopard Mary Janes are undeniably fabulous.

They have excellent reviews, they are incredibly comfy (didn’t have to break them in at all!), and you can easily dress them up or down. The strap is adjustable with a great buckle closure, and I think that they are a very flattering fit. True to size for me.

11) frayed hem ankle jeans / I’ve been showing these jeans for a couple of years now, and I still think they are awesome.

The description says they are a skinny jean, but I think they are definitely more of a straight leg ankle jean. They are the perfect ankle length, and they have a raw hem and cute little slits on the sides. They are perfect with sneakers, with flats, with booties, and with heels! If you’re looking for an awesome pair of jeans at an affordable price point, these are your jeans.

They are a great way to not wear a skinny jean without having to go total wide leg or flare. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but size down if between sizes. If you’re not familiar with Wit and Wisdom jeans, they are super stretchy and very comfy. They have Ab-Solution technology, and they mold and hold you while still allowing you to breathe. They really are soooo flattering and incredibly comfortable.

This striped crewneck sweater is everything I love about a sweater. It’s lightweight, it’s got a relaxed fit, and the rounded high-low hem means I can do a 1/2 tuck or just wear it out. It’s quite soft, and you know I love a stripe. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I have this exact sweater in SEVERAL colors and love it. I’m wearing the “toasted brown” here and think it’s such a warm and wonderful fall color. It would be great on Thanksgiving Day. It’s a relaxed fit, so there’s plenty of room for mashed potatoes and pie. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I have medium in another color, and I like the fit of that one too.

I’ve got another striped 1/4 zip sweater. Because why not. This one is a much more relaxed fit than the pink and orange sweater I showed at the beginning of today’s post. I like the pink and brown combo, and the ribbed collar and cuffs are super cute. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I would actually prefer the fit of a small.

This next sweater is very lightweight, so it’s good for early fall or to layer under a jacket. I’m wearing the “black striped rust”, but it comes in 14 total stripe color combos. It’s sweater material, but it fits kind of like a long sleeve t-shirt would. It’s a good one. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

12) faded black jeans / I’m so happy to have these washed black Wit and Wisdom jeans in my closet for fall. They’ve got the beloved Ab Solution technology, they’re stretchy, they’re comfy, they’re flattering, and they’re a great ankle length on me (I’m 5’4″, but with long legs and no torso). I would actually not mind them being a little bit shorter, so I might cut them myself since they already have a frayed edge. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but most people size down in this brand.

13) cuffed straight leg jeans / These jeans are different than any other jeans in my closet right now due to the exaggerated cuff. I love them. They also have the Ab Solution technology, and if you are new to the Ab Solution magic, these jeans suck you in and totally snatch in your waistline while still allowing you to breathe. It’s a thing of wonder really! 🙂 For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. If between sizes, size down in this brand.

This is my favorite basic black sweater. It’s soft, it has a relaxed fit, and I’m not kidding when I say it goes with everything. Style it whatever way you would like. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

BONUS #14

These pants were actually in the top 10, but I somehow missed them when looking at the data, so you get a BONUS today…

The fact that I’m LOVING some pants from Wit and Wisdom should come as no surprise to any of you.

But these pants are pleated, so I was not expecting to love them at all. Because of the pleats, I didn’t think they were going to work on my body (since my tummy is my problem area). WELL, I was wrong! They are crazy comfy and quite flattering! They are a substantial ponte like fabric, but they’re a medium weight and not too heavy at all. They are crazy super soft and stretchy, but they keep their shape throughout the day. They’ve got a double bar and hook closure with a hidden button and a functional zipper, but I’m telling you, you can just pull these on if you want to! Yes, they have that much give. Most size down in these, but I’m wearing my regular size 4.

A pleated high waist elevates the style of stretchy, ankle-grazing straight-leg pants featuring ‘Ab’solution powermesh panels that mold and hold.

Put this sweatshirt in your cart and go ahead and press purchase. YOU NEED TO GRAB IT NOW. LIKE RIGHT NOW. It totally gives Zella vibes, but it is much more affordable at just under $25.

This sweatshirt is one that I will absolutely live in once it’s cooler. I love it with leggings, but it will be cute with jeans and sneakers too. I wanted it oversized, so I sized up to the large so it would be legging friendly. I love the zippers, I love the exaggerated color, and I love the fit. Also notice the zippers on the hem that can be unzipped for more room and some extra style. Now, I do want to mention that this sweatshirt doesn’t have pockets. That’s often a deal breaker for me in a sweatshirt like this, but not with this sweatshirt. The fit and style are just too good.
