White t-shirt: LOFT
Blue Bracelets: LOFT
One of the great things about scarves is that they are super affordable. In fact, all my scarves have been between $10 and $20. That’s a small price to pay for magic people.
(One of my college friends left a comment on yesterday’s post with a tip that Forever 21 has lots of cute scarves for cheap, and boy was she right! I just checked it out online, and there are TONS of cute scarves that are anywhere between $9-$13. Thanks for the tip Lindsay!)
HOWEVER,
Mayor of Scarfville.
I’m giving public service announcement on the importance of a good scarf.
Correction.
They are magical.
So, now I want to know….
Have you been wearing scarves for years?
Were you fashionably late to the scarf party too?
Or, are you still unsure if you want to even go to the party?
Also, if you have a tip like Lindsay did on where to get great deals on scarves, please share!

We are so excited to have you at the party. You fit in soooooo well! I also feel kind of excited that I was there on the first day you wore a scarf (and then proceeded to buy like 3 more). I'm pretty sure that's when this whole thing changed…you bought a scarf and then became a fashion blogger. So wild and fun!

Francesca's. Great inexpensive scarves. Target too.
I'm jumping on the scarf bandwagon. Was on it back in 92 when we tied the tiny ones tight around our neck…have avoided them until your blog inspired me. Now I'm sporting a colored skinny jean white tee scarf and bangles!

OMG. Totally forgot about the tiny little bitty scarves that were jauntily tied and pulled to the side. Man that was a good look. 🙂

Forgot to mention Sam Moon….most of them are $7 and they have really cute prints! I have a few but never really wear them…I feel like they are a requirement this fall though, so save me a seat on the bandwagon! 🙂

I'm jumping on too! For years I have even bought scarves and they've just collected in my closet. They do add quite the magical touch to a tshirt and jeans. They pull the eyes away from the muffin top too…which is always welcomed!
Sheaffer says
Detracting from the muffin top is always a top priority. Laughing so hard!

You're right, scarves are magical. In fact, I've purchased 3 scarves in the past two days.
PS – I totally forgot about the orange bag and I just remembered that I'm missing a green one, too. Hmm, will the green bag show up in a post sometime soon?!?
Sheaffer says
Dear Sister,
You should know that I fostered the bags for several years, but now I've officially adopted them. You're not getting them back. Not ever. Never Ever. So sorry.
Sincerely,
Sister

I'm terrible at figuring out how to loop them or tie them. Suggestions?

Wal mart (I know) has cute ones between $3 and $8! I have 3 that were around $3 each. I wear them all the time. My favorite way is to put the middle at the front of my neck and both ends back, then pull both ends around and loosen at the neck, and make sure one end is longer than the other. Complicated way to explain something that takes 3 seconds to do.
