I have a recipe I pull out ALL THE TIME when I have to take a dessert somewhere. It’s kind of a show stopper. It includes gooey brownies, chocolate mousse, whip cream, and toffee bits, AND IT’S ALL PILED UP ALL SORTS OF HIGH AND PRETTY IN A TRIFLE DISH.
Well, Shay is doing her magic on it today and MIXING and MATCHING it up to
dress it up for Christmas!

Speaking of Shay, over Thanksgiving break I took these two cuties to see Hero 6.
Now that Carter is in Kindergarten he has been really missing his friend Smith, so I scooped him up and took them to the movies with us.
If you have kiddos, I highly recommend Hero 6. The boys loved it, and it totally kept me interested the whole time too!
So, that morning before the movies,
Pinterest told me to wear my military jacket and denim shirt with my leggings.

My UGGs subbed in for the combat boots, and I had one super cute AND COMFY outfit!
And thanks to my ultra wide waistband leggings (Nordstrom is price matching so they are ON SALE AGAIN!) I didn’t even feel the slightest bit uncomfortable after throwing back pretty much an entire large popcorn by myself. In fact, I barely noticed that Carter (who typically is all about movie popcorn) was barely eating any until I basically polished the whole thing off. Oops.

I have the new jacket (the grey one with the coral back), and I love it. My sister got the original one last year, and every time she wore it I was mad at myself for not snatching it up.
