And now for some tried and true favorites…

Am I lounging around my house, or am I training for the Olympics? Nobody will ever know, but I’m going to look 100% festive while doing it. 😉 This set is soooooo soft and sooooooooooo comfy! I’m wearing a medium, but both the top and the bottom are pretty roomy, so I think a small would be fine too. This set has a long ship time, but it’s worth the wait.

I’ve been talking about these denim shorts for weeks now and still think they are fantastic, but this embroidered blouse is new and I love it! It has stellar reviews, and I’m personally obsessed with this red, but it actually comes in 11 total color choices. It’s 100% cotton, but it feels a bit like a sturdy linen. The embroidery work is so fun, and y’all know I love the elbow length sleeve with the ruffle detail. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This cap sleeve sweater is great too. It’s a perfectly relaxed fit and so easy to throw on with denim. I’m wearing the red stripe, but I’m also really loving the sky blue and pale yellow option. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. Definitely size down if between sizes.

And are you dying over the necklace? Because I am. It’s similar to the Evereve one I’ve been screaming and shouting about, but this one is bigger, chunkier, and brighter! I really like both of them, but this one is definitely bolder.

This USA tee is super soft and super cute. I’m wearing the blue, but it also comes in white, pink (which looks more like a heathered red), and army green. It’s a simple tee, it’s under $20, and I absolutely love it.

This cap sleeve flag sweater is ADORABLE, comes in several colors, and is just as cute as can be! It also comes in a navy, white, and cream background too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I also wanted to show you how great the accessories are even with just a plain white tee!

I already had this eyelet top in olive, but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous red. It comes in 26 colors, so there’s something for everybody. Only the top buttons are functional, so you just slip it over your head. The open neckline, the tiny ruffle collar, the subtle puff sleeves, and the eyelet pattern are all fabulous. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

The red is fun, but the white is totally classic and so lovely for spring and summer!

Look at this DARLING top! The red is obviously super festive for the 4th, and it also comes in a navy blue that would also be great for the holiday weekend. If you love the top but don’t care about being festive, it also comes in pink, blush, yellow, green, black, light green, and grey. The fabric is a sturdy knit (really great quality), and the split neck and puffy ruffle sleeves are totally adorable. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If you’re between sizes, I would suggest sizing down.

This striped cap sleeve sweater is simple, casual, and totally lightweight enough for a summer day. It comes in 13 colors, so there is something for everybody. For size reference, I sized down to a small based upon some reviews I read, but I wish I wouldn’t have. The small fits fine, but I prefer how it looks on the model (a much more relaxed fit), so I wish I would have stuck with my regular size.

Lightweight, soft, and cute as can be… this sweater is such a great closet basic. I love the stripes, and I love the colored neckline, cuffs, and hem. This is the “blue”. I’m wearing a medium.

I ordered the Loves Jesus and America Too tee before last Memorial Day, and I wore it all weekend long. I wore it this year too! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. A medium is true to size for me in a tee like this, but this one was much longer and wider than most sized mediums tee. You might want to consider sizing down, but I happen to like the really oversized look.

Over Memorial Day I wore it one day with denim shorts, and I wore it one day to the lake as my cover up because it was plenty long. Since then, I’ve slept in it countless times because it’s just so dang soft.

You definitely need to grab it for the 4th! It’s SO CUTE! The graphic says ‘Loves Jesus and America Too” (says it small on the front and in a big design on the back).

I bought the pillow/slide sandals on a whim, and I’m glad I did. Now, be prepared for the fact that they are very chunky, but they are also very comfy. They’ve got over 50,000 5-star reviews.

I won’t be wearing a long sleeve sweater in my neck of the woods over the summer, but if you live somewhere with cool summer nights, this could be the sweater for you. It’s very soft, super cute, and it looks much more expensive than it is! It’s under $45!!! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium for a very relaxed fit.

I had been wanting to try a white sandal, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on them. These were the perfect option for me! They’ve got a bit of cushion on them, and I’ve walked all day in them with no problem. They come in several colors. For size reference, I sized up a 1/2. They come in TONS of colors, metallic options, and even a blingy pair!

FOOD FOR THE 4th

I thought it would be fun to gather up some recipes that would be great for July 4th or any backyard barbecue! Some of these I’ve shared in the past, and others are ones I’ve pinned and hope to make in the future.

Do you remember years ago when I shared this Campfire Brie recipe? It was absolutely delicious and a real showstopper. Look how gorgeous it is!

Doesn’t this look like the makings of a great dish?

I stumbled upon this pasta salad recipe when browsing Pinterest one day, and it did not disappoint. It was fresh, flavorful, and pretty too! It’s a Cilantro Lime Pasta salad, and it was absolutely delicious. I’ve made it several times now, and we really loved it when I added it shrimp to it one night.

This is the base of a salad that I love to make. I typically add in tons of butter lettuce to the mix you see below, top it with croutons and whatever dressing I want, and toss it all up like a regular salad. But sometimes I even eat this combo just as a side dish (without the lettuce). This little mix is awesome on top of cottage cheese or hummus too.

What you’re looking at: cherry tomatoes, avocados, purple onion, and grilled corn cut off the cob. (I like to grill extra corn when we are having corn as a side dish, because I love adding the leftovers to salads throughout the week.) I toss this mixture with a little olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a seasoning blend that’s a mix of kosher salt, lemon pepper, garlic powder, and coarse ground pepper. I let it marinate in the fridge a bit, and it’s just so flavorful.
