This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote products that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
Are y’all done with your Christmas shopping yet? I wish I could say I was, but I’m not quite there. Luckily I’m close, but I still have a few odds and ends to pick up. I hope to wrap it all up this weekend, and I hope to do it all online because the malls are crazy town right now.
I actually went to the mall last week, and it was already BANANAS. There were sooooooooooooo many people. Thankfully, I was able to grab several pieces and some gifts that I’m highlighting in today’s post, so it was totally worth it.
Let’s just get started!
THE FESTIVE COAT OF MY DREAMS
THIS COAT IS DARLING.
And not just kinda darling.
I love my jeans too. Now, they are going to cost you a pretty penny, but look at the hem! And the fit is to die for. More on the jeans later in the post.
This plaid coat is fully lined and beautifully made. The plaid is just so good, and the cranberry color paired with the dark black and heathered black makes me absolutely swoon. I love the cut, I love the fit, and I LOVE THE VIBE.
Because truly, this coat is a vibe.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. The small felt tight across my back and my shoulders, so I went with the medium. Otherwise, a small would have been good everywhere else.
My black sweater is ON SALE and is quite literally the perfect basic black sweater. It’s perfect on its own and the perfect layering sweater as well. Have I mentioned it’s perfect? Because it is.
I think it looks great with jeans and booties…and I’ll even casual it up with jeans and sneakers.
But you know, it’s also dressy enough to wear with church clothes or even a little black dress.
I’m going to say it again. This coat is so good.
I know the jewelry is kind of hard to see here, but these hoop earrings and this pave heart necklace are what I’m wearing in all of my outfits today, and they both make excellent gifts. Click HERE to see the necklace up close. I’ve been wearing it every single day with everything. It’s gorgeous.
A HAPPY AND CASUAL SWEATER
This sweater is so flipping cute, so soft, and it just makes me happy.
I love the wide pink and white stripes, but it comes in other stripes as well as some solids. It has a bit of length to it, but you see below that I can wear it in a half tuck (and above you can see it worn out). It does run big, so you probably want to consider sizing down. I’m wearing a small, and I actually wonder if an x-small would be better
Now let’s talk about the jeans.
They’re skinny jeans and they’re awesome. And yes, I’m still wearing (and loving) skinny jeans. I’ve been wearing the heck out of straight leg jeans lately, but I will always have a pair of great skinnies that I love in my closet. They’re perfect for pairing with Hunter boots as well as any other types of tall boots for that matter.
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know that I’m a HUGE fan of the Wit and Wisdom brand and their denim. Their Ab-Solution technology is what keeps me coming back to the brand again and again. These jeans are so stretchy, so comfy and flattering as all get out. And they hold their shape throughout the day! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4, but many size down in this brand.
And just FYI: When I went to grab the link for these jeans, I stumbled upon these black wide leg pants from the brand and immediately ordered them. I can’t wait for them to arrive!
Both of these bracelets are simple and totally classic. I’ve had the gold scalloped bracelet for several months, and I wear it on its own and I stack it with others. I grabbed this pave bangle just last week. I have several pieces of the Nordstrom branded CZ jewelry, and it is all beautiful. This bracelet is absolutely stunning, and at only $49 it would make an excellent gift.
My bright red Hunter boots are one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own. I’ve had them for probably like 8 or so years now, and I still love them so so much. When I bought my first pair of Hunter boots (like 10 years ago), I went with a light grey pair because I thought they were sensible and that they would go with everything. Well, they do. HOWEVER, I asked for this pair for Christmas a year after getting the light grey pair, and now I never wear the light grey pair. THE RED IS WHERE IT’S AT. I forget what my exact color is called, but I’ve linked to the Military Red, which I actually like more than mine.
I mean, the sweaters and the boots just make me happy.
Here are just a handful of gifts I’d like to highlight. These are all super easy to grab and they make excellent gifts for all sorts of ladies on your list.
This multicolor crystal ring is GORGEOUS, and it comes in this beautiful box which is perfect for gifting. The stones are bright and so vibrant. I like wearing this one on my pointer finger.
This dainty initial necklace is such a beautiful piece. I treated myself to a “C” for both Chris and Carter.
This adorable little jewelry box is ONLY $35.
And look how great it is inside! PERFECT for travel.
I’ve been talking about this Burberry Her perfume for about a year now. My friend Ralonda introduced me to it, and I love it just as much now as I did when I first started wearing it last December. It’s light, it’s lovely, and I get compliments on it ALL. THE. TIME.
If you don’t own a great pair of slippers that you love putting on at the end of the day, FIX THAT RIGHT NOW.
If you aren’t a fan of leopard, there are solid color choices HERE.
I own several pairs of slippers, and I think that pretty much all slippers are good, but these slippers are exceptional. They hug my feet, they keep them quite warm, AND THEY’RE DARLING. They only come in whole sizes, and I definitely recommend sizing up if you’re a half size.
A SUPER FESTIVE RED SWEATER
Y’all, I love a red sweater. But this isn’t just a simple red sweater, it’s a little extra, which I love for the holidays. #givemealltheholidayextra
First of all, this is the perfect Christmas red. It’s just so dang cheery. The cable knit is classic, but the extended shoulders give it a modern edge. And check out the blingy buttons on the cuffs. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
I love this sweater paired casually with jeans and booties, but you could easily dress it up with a great pair of black pants and heels.
The jeans I’m wearing have created lots of fanfare over the last month or so (and they are the same jeans I’m wearing with the plaid coat at the top of today’s post). They are the most expensive jeans I’ve ever owned, and I’m IN LOVE. I’m going to go ahead and say that they have been 1000% worth it to me. I totally get that they are completely extravagant and it’s basically crazy, but what can I say, I still love them. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW THEY FIT. And I swear, I feel cool when I’m wearing them. I know I sound ridiculous, but I seriously feel cool.
Furthermore, they FEEL like they are expensive… and they should feel that way… BECAUSE THEY ARE! I’ve heard tons of influencers sing the praises of Mother Jeans for a while now, and I’m so happy I finally took the plunge. They’ve got stretch in them, but they still have structure. They hold their shape, and they just make me feel great. For size reference, I’m wearing a 27.
These booties I’ve been wearing all fall long are NOW ON SALE! $40 OFF, y’all!
All of my booties from last year are suede, so I was excited to add a leather pair to my closet. (It’s always great to have a leather option for rainy days, plus I just love how the leather looks so polished.) They come in bone and black as well, but I knew I would get the most wear (and bang for my buck) out of this beautiful cognac color. I’ve found that cognac looks great with regular denim (all color washes), with black denim, with white denim, and with gray denim. #cognacforthewin These have a 3-inch block heel, a pointy toe, and a bit of a western vibe. For size reference, I sized up a 1/2 in these.
Perfect for a holiday happy hour, don’t ya think?
A FUN LITTLE CARDI
This is an outfit that’s perfect for running around town for last minute Christmas shopping. And yes, these are the Mother jeans AGAIN. I want to wear them allllllllllll the time.
Y’all aren’t even going to believe what I’m about to tell you about this adorable cardigan….
It’s from the kid’s department.
So here’s how it happened…
When I’m searching for items to order for future posts, sometimes I just randomly scroll sites, but sometimes I search for specific items (ex. long sleeve cream sweater). Other times I write my favorite brand names in the search box. So, one day when typing in brand names, I typed in “Treasure and Bond”. I was scrolling through all the items available when this sweater instantly caught my eye. I clicked on it, and I saw that it was actually from the little girl’s department. I was so disappointed! But then, I saw it was available in size 14/16, and I thought it was worth a try. And I have to say, I might could even size down! It’s a super relaxed fit, which I like, but if you prefer a less oversized you could just size down.
The open front styling and the multicolor design just spoke to me.
So who is with me? Who is willing to take a gamble on grabbing something from the kid’s department? Haha! (fyi: It’s not really a risk, because as you know, Nordstrom has FREE shipping and FREE returns!)
Oh, let’s also talk about the leopard crossbody strap! Y’all know I love changing out straps on my bag, and although I have several to choose from, I’ve never had a leopard one. Since I think of leopard as a neutral, this should go with pretty much everything.
Okay, that’s all ladies! I hope I was able to give some good inspiration for some cute outfits for the season AND for some easy to shop for gifts. A huge THANK YOU to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.
