Do y’all remember this collage from a couple of weeks ago? I highlighted 5 items that I had my eye on, and I ended up ordering 4 out of the 5 items for myself… so today you’re going to get to see them in real life!

1) white eyelet set
So I thought I ordered the set from the collage, but it seems I didn’t finalize the purchase. When I realized I hadn’t received it and went to track it, I saw I had never actually pressed “complete purchase”. OOPS.
I was going to go ahead and order it as soon as I realized, but it was out of my size by that time.
I pivoted and ended up finding the set below, so I grabbed it! It’s of course not exactly the same, but it has a bit of the same vibe, although I do feel like this set is a little dressier. Both pieces are 100% cotton with a beautiful eyelet pattern. They are both lined, so no need to wear a cami under the top. I’m wearing a medium in the top and a small in the shorts, but I think I would actually prefer a medium in the shorts.

2) wooden seashell necklace
I’ve been screaming and shouting about my love for the mini Jane necklace for a couple of weeks now, but I ordered the wooden seashell necklace the day the collage first went live and have totally fallen in love with it. It’s DARLING and absolutely PERFECT for summer. It’s of course cute on its own, but it’s extra cute layered with one of the mini Jane necklaces.
The linen blend popover (although not featured in the collage) is another recent favorite find and it’s 50% OFF right now. It’s a lightweight linen and so easy to wear. It comes in several colors, but I chose the red immediately. Fo r size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

3) striped beach bag
This tote is waterproof, easy to clean, and has tons of functional internal and external compartments and pockets. I have the 35L, but I actually wish I would have grabbed the 50L to have room for more towels. It fit 3 towels okay, but I think bigger would be even better.

4) cotton poplin midi skirt
This skirt is fantastic. I love the bright cheerful lilac color and tiny stripe. It’s a 100% cotton poplin and it has an elastic waist and pockets. It looks great with flat sandals, but I’d also wear it with wedges and sneakers! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

5) terry cloth tee
This terry cloth tee is adorable, and you can even grab some matching pants HERE. What a great set to slip into after a day at the beach (or just lounging around at my house that’s nowhere near a beach). 🙂 For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I don’t have the pants (YET!), but I love the tee with denim shorts! These denim shorts are good, y’all. They are a button-up fly, which I don’t normally love, but I really love these shorts. I like how they are very comfy and not too short. They have a frayed hem (I cut off some of the long and straggly pieces), but they are not distressed. Most reviewers say to size down, but I ordered my regular size and like the relaxed fit.

If you dry it all the way it tightens up a bit, but if you tug on it gently when it’s slightly damp you can stretch it out a bit if you need to.

I really do love a belted dress. I think this type of dress is flattering on so many different body types, and I like to always have at least 1 in my closet. They’re just great for so many different types of occasions. This palm print is of course perfection for a vacation look, but the print is abstract enough that I’ll also be wearing this in good ol’ McKinney, Texas. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Also, my golden tan is straight out of the bottle (and purchased on Amazon)! It comes out of the bottle a brown foam, which I love because you can see how it’s being applied. If it streaky or you miss a spot, you will know right off the bat and can easily smooth and even things out. You will immediately have color which is awesome, but it will fully develop within a couple of hours. I always apply it in the morning, and I always take a shower at night the day I applied before I crawl into bed (to make sure there’s no transfer on to sheets that first day). Make sure you grab a mitt too. You have to have the mitt for application.

The Madelyn dress is absolutely made for vacation! The colors are gorgeous, and the print contains palm trees, sail boats, blue waters, and colorful beach houses. It’s a classic belted dress, but it also has a double ruffle sleeve and v-neckline. It’s incredibly flattering, will look great with a tan, and can be dressed up or down. You could pair it with sneakers and a denim jacket, but I love it dressed up here with my favorite clear wedges. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If my chest was just a tad smaller, I think I would have preferred a small.

The above dress might have been made for a beach vacay, but the Harlow dress could be worn to a wedding, a shower, a graduation, a garden party, a lady’s luncheon, or even to church on Easter Sunday. The colors are muted, and the floral print is so lovely. It is pretty short (but y’all know I like that). If length is an issue for you, this might not be your dress. Other beautiful details include the eyelet embroidery and the powder blue rick-rack details on the sleeves and hem. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I’m telling you, it’s totally giving Tuckernuck and looks like it could be a $300 dress.

This long sleeve floral dress is giving Zimmerman. The details are GORGEOUS. The pleating, the open eyelet details, the ruffle collar, the banded hem, the tiny little belt! I LOVE it ALL! Fully lined and seriously beautiful. This might have been my favorite dress from all of last year. It looks much more expensive than it is, and I just feel great wearing it! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’ve got another great printed tunic dress for y’all. The shift silhouette with the wide bands on the cuffs and hem are darling together, and I love the classic blue and white color combo. It does run on the short side, so if you are 5’7″ or above it might be too short for you. I happen to love the length. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This pink sweater is a wonderful closet basic with a little bit of flare. I love this shade of pink, I love the relaxed fit, and I really love the multicolor embroidered accents all over. It’s super soft and between and light and medium weight. I love that it doesn’t hug the body, but it still has the banded sleeves and hem to make it flattering. I’m loving it here with my cream jeans, but I know I’ll also be wearing it with white jeans and regular denim. I’ll pair it with denim shorts too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
We all know wide leg jeans are very on trend, and these cream wide leg jeans are so good. They’re not on sale, but I still highly recommend them. They’re Kut from the Kloth (a denim brand we know and trust), and I really like the stretch and overall fit. They’re definitely wide leg, but they still manage to be flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.
