Outfit Planning: 15 FALL OUTFITS FOR ALL OCCASIONS

Hey, Ladies! Happy Monday!

I hope everybody had a great weekend with friends and family and that you feel rested and ready to start a new week!

I’ve got some NEW and FABULOUS outfits for y’all today! Some are great for now, some are great for transitioning between seasons, and some will be great all the way into full blown fall. I’ve got looks for all sorts of occasions:  for the gym, for the office, for a date night, for a girlfriend lunch, for running around town, for just about wherever you are going and whatever event you might be attending!

Outfit planning posts like today’s have become some of my very favorite to do. I have so much fun finding all of the pieces and then styling them. Putting the outfits together is sort of like a puzzle, and I really enjoy the process! Plus, they generally inspire me and help me decide what I want to order to feature for y’all in the future.

Today’s pieces come from Nordstrom, Walmart, Amazon, J Crew Factory, and Anthropologie. And you’ll see that there are a handful of pieces that you will see in several of the outfits. I love to show that the pieces are versatile and can be used in lots of different outfits!

ATHLEISURE

Starting off with athleisure, I’m styling my favorite Zella tee and the best 7/8 leggings on the planet. Both have been favorites for a couple of years now, and I own both in several colors…. but I’m LOVING this fun new color. I thought the monochromatic look shown here was bold and so much fun!

But if you’re a little afraid of the head-to-toe color, you can sub in the white tee. Throw a denim jacket on top and you are ready for a day full of carpool and errands. Oh, you could stop by the gym too. Haha! 😉 This is also a great travel day outfit.

BLACK PANTS

Ladies.

I’m officially freaking out over these drawstring ponte pants.

They’re from Wit and Wisdom, they are an awesome ponte fabric (which means they are so stretchy and comfy), and they are DARLING.

They look like some sizes are low in stock, and I’m sooooooo sad because my Wednesday post is dedicated to these pants. They will be great for those of you that work in an office environment, but you can see here that I also think they look great styled casually with sneakers.

COATIGAN

Did y’all see my September Amazon Haul on Friday? I featured this coatigan, and it was a big ol’ hit with y’all! It’s part coat, part cardigan, and totally fabulous.

I’m in love with this outfit. Casual, but sooo chic too. I think the green bag looks awesome with the camel coatigan (officially called “light camel”).

This outfit is almost the same, but I switched out the studs for hoop earrings and I switched out the sneakers for leopard flats. I’ve always loved leopard and green together.

This coatigan really is so versatile. I think it looks great with this fall floral top. AND THESE JEANS! They look great with sneakers, flats, and booties. They are my favorite jeans from last year, and I’m so psyched that they brought them back! GET THEM. Seriously, get them. I wear my regular size 4, but size down if between sizes.

And for the last outfit with the coatigan, I decided to go with one of my favorite black sweaters and my new black bag that I’m completely smitten with.

FADED BLACK JEANS

These next two outfits have the black sweater you just saw directly above AND the cream cardi you saw with the black drawstring pants. I’m using all gold jewelry that you’ve seen many times before, the Anthro bag I’ve been talking about for the last several weeks, and a pair of totally stylish loafer mules. This look is so simple, yet so stylish.

These faded black jeans are going to be the IT jeans this year for black jeans. The fact that they are this faded black makes them a bit more modern, and the fact that they are straight leg and cropped (instead of skinny) is just what I was looking for. Plus, they’re from Wit and Wisdom, so you know they are so, comfy, and flattering as all get out.

BLAZER

There’s just something about a blazer, y’all.

And a houdstooth blazer?

MIXED MEDIA SWEATER

Mixed media sweaters are often my jam, and this one is no different. Love the navy, love the floral sleeves, love the whole look. I’ve shown it with the must have boot cut jeans and booties on the left, and with the ankle jeans and loafer mules on the right.
