I’ve got a simple outfit for y’all today. This $29 tee has been on the blog several times (in black and grey), but this is the first time y’all are seeing it in wine. It crosses in the front, drapes nicely, is a little bit longer in the back than the front (which I love), can be dressed up or down, and hides a belly pooch (hoorah!). And even though it says dry clean, I accidentally washed two of them and they came out great! Oh wait! I also paired this wine colored one with grown up camo pants last week.
I sized up to a medium in the tee since I wanted it loose. Please notice in the picture how I don’t have to wear a cami with this tee (although I sometimes choose to), but it’s not nearly as low cut as it appears on the model. I’m wearing a 27P in the jeans. I went with petite because I wanted them to be ankle length!
This is definitely a “there’s nothing to it” outfit, but I still felt cute and put together in it. And I know I’ve got a winner of a top when I reach for it over and over again. And that goes for the jeans as well.
I loved the color combo of the wine, grey, and taupe (in the booties). And the tassel necklace is a cool combo of materials: metal, glass, crystal, and leather.

I wanted to post a close up of the earrings I’m wearing, because I love that the glitter is silver and that the metal is gold. I think mixed metals make things so much more interesting, and there are several different color combinations! You can get 2 pairs for $9.98.
I get questions pretty regularly about my lipstick. For a couple of years now I’ve worn THIS lipstick in “fashion icon”. (I have no idea why it looks dark purple on the site…I think it’s a pretty cranberry wine color!) I pretty much wear fashion icon every single day, although I do change up my gloss quite a bit. I have several gloss favorites, but my current go to is NARS Sweet Dreams. Well, I saw this new NARS velvet gloss lip pencil online, and I decided to give it a try. I ordered “club mix” and I love it. It glides on and is different than any product I’ve ever used! It’s not like the matte NARS pencils that have been around for years. These new “velvet gloss” pencils go on like a lipstick , but are sheer like a gloss (BUT NOT STICKY AT ALL)!
Here are the two products I have on in the above pictures!
Here’s a shot of my lips with both NARS products.
So these are the three lip products I wear the most.
And while we are talking about make-up, I’ve got a new Santa Alert for y’all today! Click HERE for the Bobbi Brown lip gloss set. I buy one for myself every November (when the sets come out)….I use it all year long…and then I’m ready for a new set each Christmas! I love the cute little sizes of the glosses, and I love having the variety of colors to choose from!
I always hit up the beauty sets for Christmas gifts, and I’ve found several this Christmas that I would love to give and/or receive!
Now, to further my case for the $29 tee, I wanted to show y’all the different looks I’ve worn with my black and grey tees! I loved this black, grey, and gold look.
And here’s a pic to remind you how the back is a little longer.
Here’s the black tee again, with the cutest scarf this side of the Mississippi. It just makes me happy! ????
