It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

BLACK JEAN ALTERNATIVE
Wednesday’s post was a Style It Again, Sheaffer post where I showed you 4 ways to style the pair of black jeans on the left. Unfortunately, the jeans went on sale a day or two before my post, so a lot of popular sizes weren’t available by the time my post went live.
I wanted to again remind you that this pair of Wit and Wisdom jeans is super similar, they seem to be fully stocked, and they are more affordable.

What I’m saying is that it doesn’t matter where you get your black jeans from, just get a pair! They will extend your wardrobe, and you’ll be so happy to have them in rotation. Look at the 4 outfits I threw together earlier this week. Click HERE to see the details on all the outfits below.

SHOPPING WITH SHEAFFER
So for today’s edition of Shopping with Sheaffer, I’m going to highlight some jackets and tops with both black jeans and with regular denim. I always love showing the versatility of items…
This twill jacket is really really good.
It has a good amount of stretch in it, the olive color is a perfect neutral, and the subtle cropped and military styling gives it a modern flare. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
twill jacket / white v-neck tee / earrings / charm necklace / black jeans / belt (pecan gold) / leopard Mary Janes
It looks great with the black jeans above, but I love it with regular denim too. I’m wearing the leopard Mary Janes here, but this outfit would of course also look good with booties or sneakers.
The Mary Janes have excellent reviews, they are incredibly comfy, and you can easily dress them up or down. The strap is adjustable with a great buckle closure, and I think that they are a very flattering fit. True to size for me.

I’ve been showing these jeans for a couple of years now, and I still think they are awesome.
white tee / earrings / necklace / beaded bracelet / straight leg ankle jeans / neutral sneakers (white/tan leather)
The description says they are a skinny jean, but I think they are definitely more of a straight leg ankle jean. They are the perfect ankle length, and they have a raw hem and cute little slits on the sides. They are perfect with sneakers, with flats, with booties, and with heels! If you’re looking for an awesome pair of jeans at an affordable price point, these are your jeans.
They are a great way to not wear a skinny jean without having to go total wide leg or flare. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but size down if between sizes. If you’re not familiar with Wit and Wisdom jeans, they are super stretchy and very comfy. They have Ab-Solution technology, and they mold and hold you while still allowing you to breathe. They really are soooo flattering and incredibly comfortable.

This pic is about the sneakers, but check out the subtle frayed hem and the side slits on the jeans. So cute! (And while you’re at it, check out the precious pup.) 😉
These sneakers come in tons of color options, and I have a couple of them, but this pair is a great neutral option (officially the “white/tan leather”). I love that you just slip them on and don’t have to worry about tying the laces. They are quite comfy and are a great casual touch with so many outfits. I wear them with jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses. True to size for me.

I showed this outfit on Wednesday’s post, but I know some of you prefer mirror selfies, so here you go…
This cardigan is the most gorgeous blush color. It’s warm and cozy (it has a bit of wool in it, but it’s not itchy), and I love the v-neck styling with the big buttons, the ribbed sleeves, and the ribbed hem. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I’ll also be wearing this sweater a lot with regular denim ankle jeans and sneakers! You could also wear it to the office with a nice pair of slacks.
v-neck cardigan / white v-neck tee / charm necklace / cognac bag / black jeans / belt (pecan gold) / leopard Mary Janes
If you’re a blazer girl, you’re going to want to grab this one. If you’re not, you still might want to give this one a chance. It’s stretchy with a notch collar, a slim fit, and a pinstriped lining that makes the blazer extra cute when the cuffs are rolled up.
The link suggests to size down, but I wish I hadn’t. The small feels tight and pulls across the back a bit. A medium would definitely be a better fit on me.
I think it looks a little bit edgy when styled with black jeans.

But once again, I love it with regular denim too!

I showed this outfit (except with vibrant Adidas sneakers) on Wednesday, but I wanted to show it dressed up a bit with the Mary Janes as well.
Click HERE and scroll to the bottom of the post if you want to see it with the colorful adidas sneakers (I have the ice lavendar/orange/violet).

Speaking of the sneakers, I thought this all black look with the pop of color on the feet was super fun!
This is my favorite basic black sweater. It’s soft, it has a relaxed fit, and I’m not kidding when I say it goes with everything. Style it whatever way you would like. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

It’s of course great with regular denim as well. And pairing it with the leopard Mary Janes was a no brainer.
black sweater/ earrings / coin toggle necklace / frayed hem ankle jeans / belt (pecan gold) / bracelet set / leopard Mary Janes
This striped crewneck sweater is everything I love about a sweater. It’s lightweight, it’s got a relaxed fit, and the rounded high-low hem means I can do a 1/2 tuck or just wear it out. It’s quite soft, and you know I love a stripe. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Maybe you remember when I showed it with the black jeans a couple of weeks ago…

Now for a cardigan that I feel like everybody is going to fall in love with. This is the “khaki”, but it also comes in a light cream (apricot), black, hazlenut, and white. I’m wearing the small here, and it fits kind of close…. but I think I might order a medium because I like how it fits oversized on the models. I actually like how the small fits too, it’s just a different look!

And here’s the cardigan when I showed it with the black jeans…

SOME GREAT AMAZON EARLY FALL FINDS
This striped sweater is what I think is the perfect piece for both early spring and early fall. It’s sweater material, but it’s super lightweight, and y’all know I’m always swooning over a stripe. But a stripe with pops of color? SIGN ME UP! My stripes are black and white and the pop of color is a vibrant orange. I’m wearing a medium.
striped sweater / hoop earrings / gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack (rainbow stripes) / denim shorts / GG sneakers ($25 option HERE)
Look at some of the other color options! It also comes in navy!
This sweater is a great basic. It’s a piece I think a lot of you might end up buying in multiple colors because it’s so versatile. It’s soft, and I love the ribbed collar and exposed seem that runs down the middle. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It comes in 12 colors!
sweater / hoop earrings / gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack (rainbow stripes) / denim shorts / GG sneakers ($25 option HERE)
And here it is styled for fall.
sweater / hoop earrings / necklace / gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack (rainbow stripes) / MUST HAVE boot cut jeans / woven tote / booties
I’m so excited about this next item y’all.
This plaid button up is FANTASTIC. It’s described as a flannel, but it’s not thick or hot like a flannel. It’s much more lightweight than a flannel is, and it’s not stiff like a cotton button up. It’s relaxed and super soft and I love it so much. I did size up. I’m wearing a large here because I wanted to make sure I was going to have a relaxed fit.
I’m wearing the “berry and pine”, but it comes in 22 colors. I’m thinking about ordering the “burgundy” too.
plaid button up / hoop earrings / gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack (rainbow stripes) / denim shorts / TB cognac sandals (vachetta)
And for fall…

SERUMS AND OILS FLASH SALE
Colleen Rothschild is having a FLASH SALE ON ALL SERUMS AND OILS! We’re talking 24% off most of them, and they very rarely go over 20% off, which makes these sale prices an amazing deal!
I love this simple graphic they just came out with that gives you an idea of what each oil/serum targets in really simple terms.
My two favorites are the Vitamin C Brightening Serum and the Face Oil #9, and my mom absolutely swears by the Age Renewal Super Serum.
The Face Oil #9 is one of my three ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE Colleen product. Just put a pump in your hand with your favorite moisturizer and get ready to hydrate and plump your skin like never before. My skin absolutely drinks this special little cocktail up. Dry skin really ages a person, and the face oil helps combat that! I can’t imagine it not being a part of my nightly routine, and I find myself using it on some mornings now too. Colleen touts it as the ultimate in skin luxury, and I have to agree.
If you need a moisturizer, the Extreme Recovery Cream is a great one. It’s thick, rich, and ultra-creamy. (You can use the code STMT20 to get 20% off anything on the site that isn’t already on sale.)
Face Oil #9 / Extreme Recovery Cream
Colleen says this Vitamin C Brightening Serum is highly potent and shares that it combines two skin-care superstars! Its got 15% stabilized Vitamin C (THD Ascorbate) and the workhorse antioxidant Niacinamide. These are two products that I read about all the time, so I’m happy to see them combined into this serum. I apply this all over my face and neck right before I apply my moisturizer.
It has 186 reviews, and I think that every single one of them might be 5 STARS. Everybody talks about how it really improves BRIGHTNESS, and I totally agree!

That’s all for today, y’all! Have a wonderful weekend with your people!

Sheaffer- which CR night time serum did your Mom like ? Use face oil#9 and extreme recovery cream at night, LOVE! Have you tried the Retinol supreme eye serum?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Carly! The Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum! She loves it! I have tried the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum, but I don’t use it religiously so I really can’t speak to it.
