I’m of course happy because it’s Friday, but I’m also THRILLED that today is my monthly Amazon haul!!! Today’s stuff is SO GOOD, y’all. The items are DARLING, WELL MADE, and the prices are FANTASTIC. I’ve got some great sweatshirts, TONS of sweaters, and a full-blown denim review on several different pairs of jeans I’ve found on Amazon.
AND GREAT NEWS! Tons of today’s pieces are ON SALE!!!
Here’s a little sneak peek…
THE PERFECT $18 GIFT
Before we get to today’s Amazon post, since it’s Friday, I wanted to put a little shout out here for Wednesday’s post. In case you didn’t see it, it was my $18 TEACHER GIFT post for 2023!
Click HERE to see the whole post (with lots of up close shots of the differenet colors) and to see the keychain bracelets in action. And make sure you use the code STMTcheer to grab them for $18!
In addition to loving that these keychain bracelets enable me to be hands free, I also love how having my keys attached to a bracelet makes finding my keys in my purse much easier. Plus, look how DARLING they are. There are 8 color combos to choose from, and I love every single option.
Think Co-Workers! Besties! Sisters! Neighbors! College girls! High School girls! Your Hair Girl…and the list goes on!!! Or maybe you have a Favorite Things party coming up? I really can’t think of anybody who wouldn’t love to receive one of these as a gift. And don’t forget the specials teachers (art, p.e., music) or therapists (speech, ot, pt) that are often forgotten!
Each bracelet comes with the gold key ring and the sweet little card too. Again, click HERE to get to the post to learn everything you need to know.
SWEATSHIRTS WITH LEGGINGS
Kicking things off today with some really great sweatshirts. Because this time of year, I love hanging around the house and running around town in sweatshirt and legging combos.
This oversized sweatshirt is one of my favorites in today’s post. It’s similar to a hooded sweatshirt I’ve talked about several times before (I have 1 from Amazon and a couple from Social Threads), but it does NOT have a hood. Instead of a hood, this one has a stand up zip up collar, which I much prefer to a hood. It’s lined in a light fleece, so it’s warm and cozy without being bulky. Now, although it’s not bulky, it is quite oversized. I’m wearing a medium here, and it’s very roomy. I’m keeping this lilac in the medium, but I’m going to order the white in a small to compare. I LOVE IT.
Now this sweatshirt is quite a bit more figure conscious than the one above. It’s not as roomy, and it’s obviously more cropped. It still has the exaggerated zip up collar which I love as well as the front pocket, but this one also has thumb holes. I’m wearing the “red” here. On the site, it looks a lot more like a wine color, but in real life it’s a true and vibrant red. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I’ll really like this one with joggers. And great news, it’s ON SALE right now!
Also on sale, this sweatshirt with exposed seems, an oversized fit, and a split hem. The sleeves are quite blousy, but you can see below how the cuff of the sleeves is fitted. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. ON SALE!
Now, this tote isn’t from Amazon, but I still wanted to show it today because I just received it and think it is absolutely FABULOUS. My friend Lindsey at The Motherchic started a company called Capital Z with her sister, and they have designed and produced some really incredible totes, cross body bags, card cases, and hats.
She sent me this “You Can Have It All” tote and I’m in love with it. It is beautifully made of real leather and can be worn as a classic tote or cinched in like I have it below for more of a bucket bag look. And how fun and unique is the design! The leather is so soft, it has a magnetic closure, and it has a built-in laptop sleeve with a couple of interior pockets as well.
AND THERE’S A SALE RIGHT NOW! Just in time for Christmas! (The sale ends Friday night, so don’t delay!)
Use the code CZBLACKFRIDAY25 to get 25% OFF one item, the code CZBLACKFRIDAY30 to get 30% OFF two items, and the code CZBLACKFRIDAY35 to get 35% OFF three or more items. Shop everything HERE.
This split neck sweatshirt is another great oversized sweatshirt option for leggings. It’s lightweight and has a great little split neck and an interesting hem. Again, it looks more like a wine color on the site, but it’s definitely a true red. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Here’s the “You Can Have It All” tote again. I mean, it’s just so dang good.
If you have a super casual Thanksgiving, this sweatshirt will arrive in time. I ordered the large because I wanted it plenty oversized, and it definitely is. If you want to wear with jeans, just order your regular size.
I love the message and the colors, but this one definitely runs small. I’m wearing the large here, and you can see that it’s pretty fitted on me. I much prefer the fit of the sweatshirt above.
TONS OF SWEATER OPTIONS
This next sections has tons of great sweater options. If you want to grab a new sweater for Thanksgiving day, there’s sure to be 1 or 2 for you today.
I LOVE this sweater. I’ll be wearing it all over McKinney, TX….but if you’re going to Aspen or Vail, you totally need it. Because this sweater deserves to be in Aspen or Vail. It’s that good. Officially, this is the “Dark Chestnut Brown Heather/Coral Pink/Beige”. It’s very soft, thick, and quite warm. If this color combo and pattern isn’t your jam, I don’t understand you, but there are other really great choices! 🙂 Don’t pass this sweater up. It’s very well made, and it looks much more expensive than it actually is. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This crewneck sweater is a wonderful neutral, but it’s jazzed up a bit with some neutral color-blocking. It’s like oatmeal, grey, and a camel brown and it’s so pretty! I really like the camel at the neckline and the cuffs. I’ve shown this sweater in other colors before, and I’m a big fan of it. I have it in the plain beige and the green. It’s just a wonderful basic that will serve you well.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I need a small. It’s quite long on me, and there’s enough stretch that a small shouldn’t be too tight.
Okay, another seriously awesome sweater that looks like it’s from a department store. Y’all know the color is what initially drew me to this cable knit sweater. I’m a total sucker for this gorgeous deep shade of green, especially during the holidays. I think it’s festive! It is 100% cotton and has near perfect reviews. The design is beautiful, and once again, people are never going to believe that it’s from Amazon. I have to say, I’m consistently blown away by the quality of so many of the things that I order and end up featuring. Sure, I also order things that end up being total poop, but I’m not going to show you those things! If I show it, I stand behind the quality! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I’m wearing this ribbed knit sweater in “pure rose”, and it comes in a handful of other great basic colors. This is a great hot pink. I’m wearing it with regular denim here, but I think it would look great with black and white denim as well. I’m wearing a medium, but I definitely need a small. It’s a relaxed fit, soft, and comfy.
This pleated shoulder v neck sweater is realllllllllllly soft and just a very pretty and feminine sweater. The deep v, the pleated shoulders, and the fitted waistband are all nice details.
When I pulled it out of the box, I thought it looked huge and that the sleeves looked ridiculous. HOWEVER…when I put it on, I actually loved it. 😉 I almost didn’t even put it on, so you definitely need to give it a chance. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
ON SUPER SALE!
Okay, ladies! A couple of weeks ago I showed this sweater in just a screenshot from the site, and y’all went crazy over it (as did I). Well, mine arrived, and it’s even better than I imagined! It’s warm, cozy, soooooo soft, and absolutely darling. I’m in love with the fair isle print and the bright and happy colors! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It is very stretchy, so size down if between sizes.
This 1/4 zip sweater is AWESOME and it’s ON SALE (already on sale AND a coupon)! Now, it will of course be great with jeans, but since it’s long enough I wanted to style it with leggings. If you’re over 5’4″ it probably won’t work with leggings, but it’s great for me. Super soft and it comes in 21 colorways (some stripes and some color blocking). I’m wearing a medium here, but I’m actually going to order the “navyrose” in a small to wear with jeans. I can’t resist navy with a hot pink stripe. I was powerless.
This sweater is a beautiful pale blush, which is one of my favorite colors. I think this color looks so pretty on just about everybody. Now, this is officially called “lilac”, but I really do think it’s more of a blush. It’s a relaxed fit, and it’s perfect for those who don’t love a fitted sweater and who don’t want to have to do a half tuck. This falls right at my waist and looks great just worn out like this. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Another pretty blush sweater! Very similar to the one above, but this one is softer than the one above, it has a deeper v neck, it’s much more blousy, and the sleeves are much more voluminous. I’m wearing a medium here, but I definitely need a small. I LOVE the color and how soft it is, so I’m definitely going to order the small. Notice the drapey sleeves and the pretty pleats before the fitted cuffs!
This cream crewneck sweater is a total classic. The cream is such a great basic, but there’s over 20 colors, so there’s something for everybody! It has over 4,000 5-star ratings, so lots of people love this sweater. It’s 100% cotton and once again, great quality. It’s long on my frame, so I definitely prefer wearing it in a half tuck. I’m wearing a medium here, but I wonder if the small would be a better fit.
Let’s get right to it: I love this one and you should probably buy it.
This tunic sweater is leggings friendly! It’s soooo soft, it’s totally cozy, and it’s just a really great sweater. It’s a turtleneck, but the turtleneck itself is super relaxed and not tight or fitted at all. This one has near perfect ratings and everybody seems to love it. The body of the sweater is very forgiving, but you can see that the arms are fitted, which keeps the sweater from just looking sloppy. There’s a banded hem, but it’s not tight. It’s a bit longer in the back than in the front. I’m wearing the small, and I think I might could even do the x-small.
It comes in like 30 colors, and I’m wearing the nutmeg.
In addition to the banded hem, it also has these splits on each side, so it won’t hug your backside when in leggings. It just lays very nicely!
I’ll be wearing this one with leggings and cute sneakers for sure.
First of all, this runs big, so definitely size down. I’m in the medium and am considering returning for the small. But maybe not, because the oversized fit is kinda fun!
I thought the color combo of this deep blush with the contrasting pumpkin colored collar, zipper, and pocket was a great combination. It’s sherpa, but it’s not super heavy. Certain colors and sizes are on sale, so maybe you will get lucky!
I’ve got another fair isle sweater for y’all. I just can’t quit them, and this one is perfect for Thanksgiving. It’s festive and classic. Again, I’m wearing a medium.
This green sweater is TO DIE FOR and IT’S BACK!!! It sold out immediately when I posted it the first time, so I’m so happy to see it back! It’s sooooooooo soft and I love the relaxed, but not sloppy fit. This sweater has fantastic reviews, and I totally agree. There are actually TONS of colors in this sweater, but you are going to have to click around to find the size you need (and just hope it isn’t sold out yet)! These babies are flying off the shelf.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I would say it runs a bit oversized, which is why the small works for me (often times in sweaters like this I would require a medium for room in the chest). I predict this will be one that you will buy in additional colors after you receive your first one.
There are a lot of options on this one necklace link, but the one I’m wearing (although you only see 2 necklaces here) is actually the 3 Layer-Snake Chain&Link Chain&Coin. The necklaces are all separate, so you can wear just 1, you can combine different pairs together, or you can wear all 3.
This crew neck sweater has a tiny little pleated puff shoulder, and this neutral is to die for (officially called “beige”). It’s seriously fabulous and super soft, and there are several colors to choose from including a really pretty rust. It’s a perfect basic. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And here it is in red! It’s a great sweater, and this is a perfect Christmas red.
I know you are going to find this hard to believe (just kidding, you won’t)….but I ordered another one of these swingy sweaters.
BECAUSE I CAN’T STOP. And this gorgeous red was calling to me.
I usually wear a small, but I ordered an x-small this time just to compare the fit. I definitely need a small if I’m going to wear it with leggings, but the x-small is more than fine if just wearing with jeans. It’s still oversized with a great swingy fit.
And here’s another swing sweater! I’m seriously not even embarrassed or ashamed that this is like my 74th swing sweater. Okay, I might be exaggerating a tad, but y’all know I have several.
This is the pink-white-khaki, and I love the color-blocking on the front, back, and sleeves. One thing I want to mention…..you can see where my sweater is pretty straight across the hem in the front. It is definitely longer in the back like it is shown on the model, but the front doesn’t have the deep v cut that’s shown on the model.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
This sweater is SERIOUSLY soft. And it’s a super relaxed fit (which I love). It has a bit of a bat wing design, but it’s still very flattering. I’m wearing the small here and it’s still quite roomy. It comes in 12 total colors.
I had a lot of people asking me about the fabric content since we couldn’t find it listed on the site. I didn’t know then, but I’ve since found an interior tag with the following info: 50% Viscose, 30% Nylon, 20% PBT. If I had to guess, I would have guessed clouds and unicorn wings.
I have no idea how I stumbled upon this pom pom sweater, but my goodness I am smitten. It is sooooo soft, it has a great amount of stretch in it, and it is beautifully made. I was a bit worried about pom pom placement, but it seems to be strategic, so there’s no unfortunate pom pom/nipple confusion happening. Haha! In addition to the adorable pattern, look at the sleeves! They are fitted at the cuff and so pretty. For size reference, I’m wearing a size 8.
It looks very Anthropolgie-ish, don’t ya think? ON SALE!
This cable stitch sweater is a classic cable knit that’s so simple and so good. I think this soft lilac color is lovely, but it comes in 8 total colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And yet another fair isle sweater. I make no apologies. 🙂 A bit more classic with the muted pink design, and it’s very soft and cozy. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Okay, now I’m going to review 3 different pairs of Democracy jeans all found on Amazon! (For those of you that don’t know, Democracy is under the same brand umbrella as Wit and Wisdom!)
I highly recommend these black jeggings, especially as we’re headed into the holiday season. And they are ON SALE right now!
First of all, they are incredibly stretchy and insanely comfortable. And if we ever needed a wonderfully stretchy jean in our lives, it’s during holiday season right? Another reason that black jeans are great during the holiday season (as well as year round) is that you can easily dress them up (or down). These are longer on my 5’4″ frame than I’d like, so I have them turned up a couple of inches.
They have excellent reviews and the “AbSolution” technology we all know and love. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. Size down if between sizes.
ON SUPER SALE!
The petite straight leg jeans are on sale too, as are the regular length option as well. These have fantastic reviews! Like over 1,000 5 star reviews. Even though I’m wearing petite, they are too long on me. I’m considering just cutting them off on my own, because I like the fit otherwise. They come in lots of different washes! For size reference, I’m wearing a petite size 4.
I’ve been told that these crop jeans aren’t stocked very well, but they do look like they are currently available in most sizes for now. These are the “Bl Blue”. Below, you will see that the hem has been turned up twice for a teeny tiny cuff. And this shouldn’t be a surprise, but these also have excellent rating and are a phenomenal price. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
Which ones are your favorite? All are Democracy and all have Ab Solution technology.
If you’ve never tried Democracy jeans before, you should probably fix that today. 😉
You’ve seen this pair of jeans before. These “light blue” jeans (definitely more of a medium wash) are stretchy, flattering, totally comfy, and ON SALE! They do have some distressing, but there are no open holes, which I like. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but most size down if between sizes. I do wish these were shorter on me (I’m 5’4″ with long legs for my height). As you can see below, I have them cuffed a couple of inches in order to be the perfect ankle length on me. I’m actually considering cutting these off at ankle length for a frayed hem. p.s. They have the Ab-Solution technology we all know and love!
The site calls these “vintage skinny jeans”, but I think they are a straight leg for sure. I would actually describe them as a slim straight leg, which I love. You get the benefit of the very “in” straight leg silhouette, but you still get the flattering vibes of a skinny jean. These are the “light blue vintage”, and the light wash is super on trend, even for fall. They’ve got Ab-Solution technology too, so you know they are both comfy and flattering as all get out. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
These jeans are a great light-medium wash that is totally on trend. I originally recommended them early this year, and I’ve received tons of feedback (at least 50 comments or e-mails!) from y’all letting me know that you ordered the jeans and love them too. They aren’t normal jean sizing, but at a regular 27 or sometimes 28 (depending on the jean brand), I ordered the medium. They have some serious stretch to them, so I think a small would have been fine, but I’m good with the fit of the mediums. They’re roomy, but I like that I have a slouchy pair of jeans.
My exact pair is the “36 sky blue”. As you can see online, they have a really jagged hem, but since I cuff mine up, you can’t see that hem.
I really like these jeans, and at under $40 they are an incredible buy. They’re obviously VERY distressed, so you won’t be wearing them to the office or anything. Haha!
And for those of you that are considering buying one of the above pairs of jeans, I thought it would be helpful to see them side by side to compare….
MORE GREAT FINDS
If you haven’t seen enough, head to September’s post! Now that it’s cooler, you definitely need to check out the bottom left and the bottom middle sweaters. They are SO GOOD. You can find the coatigan HERE in light camel (bottom left) and the half zip sweater HERE (bottom middle).
In fact, I love those two pieces so much, I’m going to post them again right here.
I feel like 1/2 of the influencers I follow told me that I needed this coatigan. They told me I needed it, I believed them, I bought it, and they were right.
It’s called a “coatigan” because it’s 50% coat and 50% cardigan. I’ll tell you this.. I think it’s 100% fabulous. I actually don’t love wearing a coat, so I think this is a great option. And because its 1/2 cardigan, you won’t even need to take it off when inside if you don’t want to. You could wear this all day long and it would be fine. It’s not bulky at all, but it will still keep you warm. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
coatigan (light camel) / white tee / similar stretchy jeans from same maker (sky blue) / earrings / necklace / gold bracelet stack (matte gold tone) / rainbow stripe bracelet stack / chunky heel booties (1-light brown)
Also super highly rated with over 1,000 5 star reviews, this half-zip pullover is FABULOUS. I’m wearing the “solid rust red”, but it comes in 17 color options! I also love the light khaki and the solid denim blue. I love this style of sweater and the relaxed fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think a small would do.
half-zip pullover (solid rust red) / woven bag / similar stretchy jeans from same maker (sky blue) / earrings / necklace / gold bracelet stack (matte gold tone) / rainbow stripe bracelet stack / floral mules
WHEW! That’s it for today, y’all! Have a wonderful weekend with your people!
