Here’s a quick look at what I’m reviewing…

I actually ordered a couple of different bronzing powders in preparation for my beauty post next month that is going to be all about GETTING THAT GLOW! This Lancôme bronzing powder was one of the ones I ordered.

It provides a nice subtle sun-kissed glow. It’s buildable, so as the summer approaches I will apply it with a heavier hand. I like that it’s not sparkly or shimmery, it just gives a pretty glow!

On last month’s Nordstrom Beauty| Let’s Talk Eyes post, I went nuts over the Idole mascara. I stand by what I said and am still obsessed. In the previous post, I talked about a different liner and primer, but I’m reviewing two new ones today just because they are Lancôme and will help you towards your purchase to qualify for the free gift.

Idole liner / Last month I talked about the Chantecaille Eyeliner and I still LOVE it, but this month I’m talking about the Idole liner, which is a BRAND NEW product! The Chantecaille eyeliner is a pencil that gives a thicker and smokier line. The Idole liner is a precise felt tip liquid eyeliner. The line is sharper and darker and it’s highly pigmented. If you look at the pics online, you’ll see that this liner is actually great for building a thicker line and even a bit of a wing (which I’ve never done).

Lancome macara primer / Last month I talked about the Christian Dior Lash Primer Serum, and I still use highly recommend it. The Lancome mascara primer is great too! It goes on white and extends lash length and makes lashes appear fuller as well. With both primers, I recommend applying the primer to the lashes of one eye and immediately applying the mascara over it before moving on to the next eye. I find that it works much better to apply mascara on top of a wet primer than a dry primer.

Idole mascara / I’ve been using this mascara for 5-6 weeks now, AND I’M A BIG OL’ FAN. I actually ordered it specifically for last month’s post, but it’s now the mascara I use every day (that I wear make-up). Prior to last month’s post I’ve never really had a mascara I loved, and I felt like I needed a mascara I loved for the “Let’s Talk Eyes” post. I’m happy to report that now I have a mascara I LOVE!

This mascara has 10,700 reviews, and 75% of them are 5 STARS, so I’m not the only who is a fan.

The curved brush pushes up and fans out my lashes, and it boosts volume, length and curl.

Again, after looking at the online pictures, I realize I’m not using the liner to its full potential. My line is thin, but the online pictures shows it looks great with a thicker line. I have been extremely impressed with its pigment and staying powder.

One of my future beauty posts is going to be ALL ABOUT LIPS, but I’ve got two Lancôme lip products for y’all today!

Juicy tubes lip gloss / lip laquer

This lip laquer is a buildable, long-wearing, high-shine lip color that feels ultra lightweight and hydrating on your lips. I’m wearing “Infra-Rose” which appears to be sold out, but it looks very similar to “Shine Manifesto”. I love the way it feels and the high-shine color, but I do want to try a darker color like “Rose Talisman”. You do 1 coat for sheer lips, 2 coats for bold lips, and 3 coats for intense lips. For the color I have, I like 3 full coats. For a more highly pigmented color, I think I might like just 1 or 2 coats. It doesn’t feel like a lip gloss, but it doesn’t feel like a lipstick either, and it is incredibly hydrating.

I really love a shiny lip. I’m not into the matte lip look at all, and you will always find me wearing a gloss. In fact, I often wear just a gloss, but even if I’m wearing lipstick I’m always wearing a gloss over it (even if it’s just clear). The Juicy tubes lip gloss gives me a super shiny lip and it is SO hydrating! This is another product I actually ordered in preparation for my GET THE GLOW post that I think is going to go live next month. It’s a perfect neutral shade and shine to wear as a natural look (with a hint of color) with a  (faux) tan!

Oh, one more product I tried just last week! The Advanced Genefique Hydrogel Meltin Sheet Mask is incredible. It’s a hydrogel sheet mask that gives skin instant radiance, smoothness and plumpness in as little as 10 minutes. I left it on for 30 minutes and was genuinely thrilled with how my skin looked afterwards. It actually looked more radiant and more bouncy, if that even makes sense. It looked more youthful.

I definitely saw immediate results, but I can’t say yet if I felt like those results really lasted. Maybe I would be able to say that if I started using the mask weekly? You can buy a 4 pack for $55, but you can also buy 1 mask for $15. It’s definitely pricey, but I really loved using it and am definitely going to purchase the 4 pack. If I continue to love the results, this might become part of my weekly routine. I also want to mention that there’s plenty of serum in the packet to also rub the leftover all over your neck.

Some will be me focusing on a particular part of the face (similar to the “Let’s Talk Eyes” post), but the topic might be “Let’s Talk Foundation” or “Let’s Talk Lips”. I also have a SUMMER SKIN post planned where I will discuss bronzers, self-tanners, and sunscreen. And I’ll of course be covering beauty events that are scheduled at Nordstrom.

But I would love to know what else y’all would like to see! PLEASE SOUND OFF IN THE COMMENTS! I asked this last month and got lots of great ideas, but I would love more suggestions.
