Some New Favorite Items!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODY!

I’ve been out of town for several days (WITH NO WIFI! AHHHHH!) since Friday morning, so my post today is short and sweet.

I’m going to have 1 or 2 2017 recap posts coming your way soon, but for today, I thought I would just show you a couple of new favorite items that I’m totally digging.

First of all, this studded bag.  I did a post with Vince Camuto last month, and then they sent me a Christmas present.   I just about died.   Because look how amazing it is in the outfit below.  It’s a great little size, has a silver chain as part of the cross body strap, and has silver studs.  (They look gold in my pics, but they are definitely silver.) It’s got some edge to it for sure, and I typically don’t think of myself as edgy at all (I’m pretty much the opposite of edgy)…BUT I ADORE THIS BAG.

And do you remember my black over the knee boots (THAT ARE NOW ON SALE!!!)? Well, I’m still dying over those too.  They are true to size, and make my legs look so long and lean!  #YESPLEASE I love wearing them with both jeans and dresses.

But seriously, how chic does this simple black sweater and jeans outfit look with the addition of the boots and bag?!?

I’m wearing a small in the sweater, a 27 in the jeans, and a 6 1/2 in the boots. All true to size.  Some reviewers say they sized down in the top, while others stuck with their regular size like me. It’s crazy soft and VERY flattering. It totally hides a tummy pooch (not that any of us have one of those).  😉

And my earrings? Eighteen dollars. BAM.

I continue to get a lot of questions about these jeans, and I highly recommend them.  For size reference, I’m wearing my normal 27.  They are distressed, but they aren’t overboard at all.  And here’s the best part: They suck you in, but still allow you to breathe. #myfavoritecombination

They have just the right amount of distressing and are comfy and stretchy. (If you want a non-distressed pair, click HERE for another style by the same maker.)

And great news, it looks like the black boots that sold out awhile ago have been restocked (only 2 sizes aren’t available), and they are ON SALE for right at $100!

This black twist front top has definitely been a work horse in my wardrobe.  It comes in 14 colors (I also own the red one) and has just at 500 5 STAR REVIEWS!  I’m telling you, it’s a great top!!!  Here are some of the other looks you’ve seen with it over the past couple of months…

My second new item today is on the opposite side of the spectrum….instead of sassy and edgy….it’s just cute and comfy.  YES!!!!!!!!!

I’ve never owned a Northface pullover, but as soon as I saw this one online I threw it in my cart.  I sized up to a medium (after reading the reviews) and am so glad I did!  (FYI:  one of the reviews talked about a weird dye smell, but mine didn’t have a weird smell.  Maybe it’s just one particular color?!?)

It’s very warm and super comfy, and I love the neckline with the toggles.  If buffalo check isn’t your thing, we can’t be friends anymore (jk! ha!), but there are other color options including navy, dark grey, and a light heathered grey.

And it has a hood!  This is perfect for when we are at the ranch, and I need a little extra coverage.  I’m guessing this will also be on repeat when Spring soccer season starts back up and it’s still chilly outside!
