Last Wednesday my post was dedicated to 3 pairs of pants that I felt would help easily transition all from us from the colder weather most of us are experiencing now to the warmer weather that’s hopefully coming soon in the spring.
One pair of pants I featured were a pair of neutral-colored jeans from our favorite denim brand.
I featured the “ecru”, but they actually come in 4 fabulous colors including periwinkle, deep seagrass, and blue shadow. More on the jeans in just a second. And get ready, because today you are going to get to see a ton of outfits with the ecru jeans!
And as long as we’re talking about great items that help you transition between seasons, you’ll notice that most of today’s outfits include a base layer of a simple and classic tee.
You’re looking at what I feel is the perfect crewneck tee. It’s the one I’m wearing throughout today’s post.
So do you remember the jeans and this outfit from last week’s post?
white tee / denim jacket options / ecru jeans / Adidas sneakers
I found these ecru jeans last year, but they sold out immediately. They restocked, and then they sold out again. BUT RIGHT NOW, THEY APPEAR TO BE FULLY STOCKED, and they are a perfect transitional pair of pants.
This particular pair is a perfectly neutral “ecru”. They aren’t a stark white, they are more of a creamy color (but not too yellow at all), and they are fabulous. They are like a cool toned cream. They are ankle cropped flares with a frayed hem, and I love them so much. They do have the Ab Solution power mesh panels that we all appreciate, and they enable the jeans to be super flattering and super comfy at the same time. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

You got to see the below outfit last week too.
So I shared 2 outfits with the jeans last week, but I got lots and lots of questions asking for styling advice for the jeans, and many of you weren’t sure how practical they would be.

SO A POST WAS BORN!
Today you’re actually going to see 27 outfits with the jeans by the time it’s all said and done.
First, let’s look at the base outfit.
Here you’ve got a basic white tee with the ecru jeans and white sneakers, but you can easily sub out the sneakers for basically any type of shoe that you’d like.
The tee holds its shape, it’s not fitted (but it’s not boxy either), and it’s well made. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Here’s the same tee in black. Both the white and the black are perfect closet basics.

And you can see here how you can layer a denim jacket on top, throw a leopard tote on your shoulder, and you’ve got a totally put together outfit.

Here I’ve changed it up just a tiny bit by styling it with a pair of a neutral mules and a neutral bag.

And here it’s a little bit different again with the black tee and a fun quilted bag. And y’all, the bag is ONLY $20 right now (it was $39.99 when I first purchased it!). It’s great with a casual outfit like this, but it’s also perfect with athleisure.

This v-neck cardigan is classic, chic, and smart. Is it weird to be describing a cardigan as smart? Maybe. But listen, I stand by it. Both the fit and the pattern make it feel elevated, and it’s a super flattering fit. I really love it. It looks great dressed up too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This floral blouse is so pretty, and it’s ON SALE! The floral pattern is lovely, and I think a split neck like this is flattering on everybody. It’s a boxy cut, so I actually wish I would have gone with a small. I’m wearing a medium below, but I would suggest sizing down. It is kind of short, which isn’t a problem for me since I have virtually no torso, but it might be an issue for those of you with a long torso.

This boxy utility jacket is ON SALE too! Definitely size down in this one. I’m wearing a medium, but I’m confident the small will still be a super relaxed/boxy fit.
If you’ve been following along for any amount of time, then you already know that I have all sorts of types of military jackets in my closet. I feel like I buy a new one every year, but they are all a little bit different. I have ones that are fitted, ones that are relaxed, ones that are longer, once that have a peplum, ones that have a ruffle, etc. But what they all have in common is that they are a great top layer to all sorts of different outfits.

Another SALE item, y’all! This is just the red version of the olive green cardi I was wearing at the top of the post.
It’s 100% cotton and a heavier weight than most of the other cardigans in my closet. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
white tee / striped cardigan / ankle flare jeans (ecru) / leopard Mary Janes
Simple and classic.
black sweater / multicolor bead necklace / ankle flare jeans (ecru) / leopard Mary Janes
I know there are tons of people out there that prefer a v-neck sweater to a crewneck sweater, so here’s an option for you! And it’s ON SALE! This one comes in 5 colors and is now under $35. It’s a bit boxy, but I happen to like boxy. I can’t do a half-tuck with this sweater (and y’all know I love a half-tuck), but this one hits me at the perfect spot to be worn out. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

What a great spring outfit for when the weather starts to warm up. The creamy sweater with black stripes and then the leopard shoes? LOVE. The sweater is actually really long, so you’ll definitely want to do a half tuck.

How fun is this striped quarter zip! I’m completely smitten with the pink and green stripes, and y’all know I always love a quarter zip. I’m wearing a medium here and it’s quite oversized. I think I would actually prefer the fit of the small. There are 15 striped combos to choose from, so there’s something for everybody.

This bright red hoodie also comes in navy and cream, and it’s an awesome option at ONLY $24. I’ve only had it a week, and I’ve worn it twice now with my must have joggers and heart slippers around the house. But it’s so cute with the ecru jeans too!

This striped crewneck sweater is everything I love about a sweater. Again, I’ve showed it, but I wanted you to see it with cream jeans too. It’s lightweight, it’s got a relaxed fit, and the rounded high-low hem means I can do a 1/2 tuck or just wear it out. It’s quite soft, and you know I love a stripe. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This striped cardigan is absolutely charming and lovely. I love the stripes, I love the weave, I love the buttons, and I love the little scalloped details. I like how I’ve styled it here, but it’s also super cute on the site layered over a button up. It looks so preppy! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
striped cardigan / earrings / ankle flare jeans (ecru) / belt / bow mules
These bow mules are absolutely FABULOUS. Like undeniably FABULOUS. There are hundreds and hundreds of 5-star reviews, and I’m in total agreement. 5 STARS from me too! They’re comfy and darling. They also come in black, blush, navy, and a cream. True to size for me.
ankle flare jeans (ecru) / bow mules
This pearl button cardigan is just plain sweet. The color combo is so interesting (I love it), and the pearls are such a wonderful touch. I think it looks great all buttoned up like this, but it would also look great with a cami or tee under it. There’s also a blue, green, and cream combo and a brown, rust, and cream combo that I love as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Y’all. I’m in love with this striped color combo for fall. In fact, you might remember that I showed you the same color combo in a cardigan a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it so much that I wanted to try this pullover sweater too. It’s soft, cozy, and a very relaxed fit. In fact, I’m wearing a medium, but I would prefer the fit of the small.

This neutral boyfriend cardi is a vibe, and I’m here for it. I think this all neutral look is fun with the pop of red and the sprinkling of leopard. It’s really soft, and it looks great all buttoned up too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Okay. I don’t like a pumpkin spice latte, BUT SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HAND ME ONE. Have you ever seen a fair isle sweater that’s more suited for fall weather and a pumpkin patch? It comes in 5 other color combos if this one isn’t your jam. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I would prefer a small.

This tunic sweater is a really good Free People dupe for a mere fraction of the FP price. This sweater is soooo soft, and I’m of course smitten with the wide stripes and color combo, but it’s just sooooo long. I’m wearing a medium here, but maybe the small will be shorter and the length won’t be so distracting for me. It’s too long to do a half tuck without being super bulky, so I’m just going to exchange it for a small to see what I think.

And here are some looks I’ve shown in the past….
The tops are no longer available, but I still wanted you to see the versatility and get even more styling ideas!

I am really digging the “OG” Pinterest Told Me To-style posts lately. I love when you take one concept and “make it your own”. This one was really fun!

WHY don’t I have a pair of ecru jeans?
