My Necklace, New T-Shirts, and Totes OH MY!

For those of you that missed yesterday’s post (you can click HERE to see it), the above necklace isn’t just my name, it’s my signature.

my wheels started spinning yesterday when I thought about the fact that the possibilities

 for this necklace are ENDLESS!

ENDLESS I SAY!

The only boundaries are that the necklace has to be 12 characters max and all of the letters must be connecting.  So, cursive letters are definitely the best and will make the prettiest necklaces.

CHECK THIS OUT:

Instead of signing your own name, do one of the following:

Have your child write his or her name name.  (Remember, letters must be connecting.)

Have your child write “mom”.

Have your boyfriend or husband write your name.

Have your boyfriend or husband write his name.

Have your boyfriend or husband write a word for your necklace like: 

 “Blessed”, “Love”, “Family”, “Always”, “Forever”.

Are you OOOOOOHing and AHHHHHHHing at the possiblities?

Or what about if sisters wrote “Sisters” or “SisterLove”

Or Besties could write “Besties”.

Okay.  Enough about the necklace.  For now anyway. 😉
Let’s talk t-shirts.
I’ve received an astonishing amount of e-mails in the last 2-3 weeks about my favorite t-shirt.
I have two NEW v-neck t-shirts from EVERLANE,
and I am SO EXCITED to share them with you today!
Haven’t heard of them?  That’s okay, neither had I until about a month ago!

I feel like all of us are always on the quest for a perfect t-shirt, and I just might just have found it!
Last year I was in love with the J Crew Factory t-shirt (found HERE).  And I still love the Factory t-shirt , but it’s pretty much a 1 season t-shirt.  The v-neck starts fraying after lots of washes, but they are inexpensive, so they are still a good go to t-shirt, and there are lots of bright and fun colors to choose from!
HOWEVER, I wouldn’t say it’s the perfect shirt.
But the v-neck I’ve found from Everlane is pretty close to perfection.
The only sad thing is that the shirt only comes in 6 colors.
If it came in more, I’m pretty sure I would own a minimum of 10.
For now, 4 will have to do.  They are SO affordable!

Constructed from the softest lightweight cotton we could find.  This v-neck for ladies fits close to the body but still relaxed. 

I couldn’t agree more with the description.  It’s fitted…but it’s not tight.
And it’s soft!

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.  If not for my boobs, I think I could have done a small.
I’ve washed d both of the t-shirts a couple of times each, and they hold up great in the wash!
And they didn’t shrink at all!

I’m doing a 1/2 tuck in all of the following pictures, but the t-shirt is a great long length on me (without being too long).
And by the way, I AM WEARING THE HECK OUT OF MK MANDARIN MOCCASINS.
THEY ADD THE PERFECT POP OF COLOR TO REGULAR OL’ OUTFITS, THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOO COMFY, AND I GET COMPLIMENTS ON THEM EVERYWHERE I GO!

The nude patent flats are also a staple for me.  They are so simple, they are neutral for crying out loud, but they still add such a nice touch to outfits.  I guess it’s the patent!

I am love LOVE LOVING these EVERLANE v-necks.
For the record, I tried the scoop neck version too, and I didn’t love it nearly as much.  I found it to be quite a bit bigger and the fit was to roomy for me.  I really liked the fitted (but not at all tight) v-neck version.  Plus, I just prefer a v-neck.
And not only do I love the t-shirts, I also love what Everlane stands for.
