If you are on social media or follow several bloggers, then you might have already heard of Brandless. I first heard about it around a year ago and was intrigued. But although intrigued, I didn’t take the plunge and order anything. I’m a creature of habit, I have foods and products that I already love, and to be honest…I was just hesitant to order from a new (to me) site.
And then Brandless reached out to me and asked me if they could send me some items to try out and review on the blog. I agreed to try some items (Hello! I love free things!), and if I loved the product, we could talk about me doing a blog mention.
Well. I loved the food…I loved the products…and I loved the mission behind the brand.
So, instead of a blog mention, you are now getting a full blown sponsored post! I’m partnering up with Brandless today to let you know about A TON OF HITS and a just a couple of misses. They sent me lots of stuff, so I feel like I really got a great introduction to the brand and their huge variety of products. And I’m super excited to share my thoughts with y’all today!
Now, before I show y’all my favorite products, I want to give you some information on Brandless.
WHAT IS BRANDLESS?
*Brandless is an online site that sells own-brand items (over 300 everyday essentials!) directly to their customers. They take out the middle man (i.e. supermarket retailers) and the savings are passed on to the consumer. So, lucky us! We get amazing products at an incredible price.
*Everything is super affordable. They carry foods (all are non GMO and over half are certified organic), cleaning products (safe and non-toxic), household and kitchen products, clean and cruelty free beauty and personal care products, and sustainable stationary. It’s all very affordable, and I’m always down for a good deal.
*What I also learned about Brandless is that they make “better-for-you” quality products. All of the products on the site are non-GMO, sometimes organic, fair trade, kosher, and gluten free. And at $3 per item, these high quality products are widely accessible and affordable for everyone, which isn’t always the case when buying organic.
*AND THIS IS VERY COOL: Every single time anyone checks out at Brandless, they donate a meal to someone facing hunger through their partnership with Feeding America® (the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization). To date they’ve donated over 2.5 million meals!
Okay…I’m about to get to my faves…but I have a code for you: The code SHEAFFER will get you $10 OFF of your $50 order!
FOODS I LOVE FROM BRANDLESS
Brandless products are made under the highest standards of safety, quality, and social ethics such as certified Global Food Safety (GFSI) or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). When talking about their foods, everything is entirely non-GMO and over half is certified organic. All of their food is made without any artificial preservatives or flavors.
I’m going to share some recipes and pictures of some of my favorite Brandless food items in just a bit, but I’ll tell you something embarrassing…my very favorite items don’t have pictures. Why? BECAUSE I ATE THEM before I could photograph them. True story.
I absolutely loved the white cheddar popcorn, the olive oil and sea salt hummus crisps, the sweet potato tortilla chips, the corn and black bean salsa, the chunky salsa, the dried mangoes, the sweet potato cinnamon and sugar chips, the dried fruit and nut salad topper (I use on both salads and yogurt parfaits), and the everything pretzel thins (taste more like a cracker than a pretzel to me, but soooo good!). My family found some new favorite snacks and we will definitely be ordering all of them again! TRUST ME. THE SNACKS ARE GOOD. The only miss I had with the foods were the dark chocolate and peanut butter granola bars. They were too hard for my liking, and I didn’t love the flavor.
RECIPES WITH BRANDLESS PRODUCTS
Now, on to some recipes where I used Brandless products as ingredients!
QUINOA SALAD
Y’all know I’ve been eating healthy again, and one of my favorite things to have on hand for lunch is Kitchen Sink Quinoa salad. I don’t have a formal recipe that I follow, I typically just throw fresh ingredients in that I have on hand. On this particular day, I used Brandless organic quinoa and organic black beans (both DELICIOUS), and then I threw in the following: cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow and orange peppers, canned corn, sliced black olives, roasted red peppers, sliced banana peppers, and some feta dill dressing.
The pretty white bowl is from Brandless too! Click HERE to check out their other household and kitchen products.

TUNA SALAD
I’m picky about my tuna.
And look how pretty this Brandless tuna is! Tasty too!
When making tuna, I basically just follow the recipe my mom used to make for us when we were growing up. She always used fresh red apples (skin left on), crunchy celery, and sweet pickle relish. The only thing I’ve changed up is that I’m subbing plain Greek yogurt instead of the mayo. Would I prefer the mayo? HECK YES. But the yogurt is soooo much healthier and adds in some more protein. That’s a win win.
When I’m being really good, I try to eat it on it’s own with just a small number of healthy crackers. DELICIOUS!

Other Brandless items I’m incorporating into some of my favorite things to eat:
I’m using their organic dried cranberries in my Caribbean salad (mixed greens, mandarin oranges, pineapple tidbits, avocado, grilled chicken, and wonton strips).
I’m also using the organic dried cranberries in yogurt parfaits that I’m eating for my afternoon snack. Chris loves these parfaits with the organic Brandless oats and honey granola sprinkled on top. I prefer to use the dried fruit and nut salad topper on top, but again, I’d already finished off the package when it came time to take this picture. #oops
We loved the taco seasoning too!
And the organic yellow corn tortilla chips and organic chunky salsa are great. As mentioned before, I actually prefer the organic sweet potato tortilla chips and the organic corn and black bean salsa (but once again, I had already consumed them all before picture day).

CLEANING PRODUCTS I LOVE FROM BRANDLESS
So it’s not just Brandless foods that I’m loving, I’m really enjoying their cleaning products too!
Brandless products adhere to the strictest performance and nontoxic, safer-chemical standards set by the EPA. I tried 4 of their cleaning products and loved them all. The packaging is pretty (which makes cleaning a tiny bit more enjoyable), they are inexpensive, and they get the job done!
The product I use the most is the granite and stone cleaner. I wipe down my granite counters at least once a day, and these leave them clean and shiny.
I’ve also tried and loved the glass cleaner (it wipes clean and doesn’t leave streaks!), the multi surface cleaner, and the surface cleaning wipes. The only other Brandless product that we tried (in addition to the granola bars) that we weren’t fans of was the toilet paper. But I’m a total toilet paper snob, so it wasn’t surprising to me that I didn’t love it. Haha!
I hope you enjoyed learning about Brandless and seeing what my Brandless favorite items are! The people at Brandless believe that BETTER DOESN’T HAVE TO COST MORE, and I’m down with that! A huge thank you to Brandless for sponsoring this post.
And don’t forget, if you are interested in trying Brandless for yourself, make sure you enter the code SHEAFFER to get $10 OFF of your $50 order!

Well friend….now I’m thinking about what I’ll eat for lunch way before I’ve even had breakfast! 🙂
Laurie Daigle says
Good morning! I loved this post (as usual). Thanks for all the insight and I actually am going to make some purchases. You prompt me on many of my purchases. ;). Quick question…and maybe I’m totally missing it but why are some of the products listed written in red and drawn through with a red line?!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Laurie! I have NO IDEA!!!!! I just e-mailed my friend that helps me with all of this kind of stuff, and hopefully she’ll see the e-mail soon! And I see they aren’t even taking you to the right link. I’m hoping we’ll get this fixed ASAP! Thanks, Sheaffer
Shay Shull says
I ordered a few things from them several weeks ago. We loved the Coconut Lemon Cookies, taco seasoning, and their salsas so much! I need to try a few more things!
E says
Dear Sheaffer,
I love your blog! Quick question. Your quinoa salad sounds really good. Do you eat your salad with the quinoa warm when you make it the first time or do you just make the whole thing in advance, chill it, and eat it cold?
Sincerely,
E
Sheaffer says
Good Morning! I chill it the first time as well. I usually just make it early that morning, sometimes the night before if I’m really ahead of the game! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
E says
Thank you! I looking forward to trying it.
Lisa C in Dallas says
I’ve ordered from Brandless and the results were great. How do you feel the pricing on the items compares to Trader Joe’s or other stores?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Lisa! I’m not super cognizant of price comparisons, but I do feel like most of what I got was a really good deal, especially for organic and high quality products (similar to Trader Joe’s). I think that the whole $3 for everything model probably means that some things are an amazing deal, while other items might take a bit of a hit with the pricing. Does that make sense? I’m hopping on today to refill some of my absolute favorites (sweet potato tortilla chips, corn and black bean salsa, and white cheddar popcorn!!!!) YUM! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Sara says
Hi!!!! I’m so excited about trying Brandless! Do you have to get a membership like Sams or Costco? Any favorite kid snacks?
Sheaffer says
No membership fees, Sara! The white cheddar popcorn and the hummus crisps were Carter’s favorites, I’m going to order some more things today that I think he’ll love. We haven’t tried any of the cookies or sweet things yet, but I’ve heard they are super delish. xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Michael says
Iv’e been on the Brandless fence for a bit but I think I need to finally give it a try! Labels have never mattered to me so buying tasty things for only $3 is a win!

Hunky Salsa??!!! Sign me up!! 😀
Sheaffer says
Ha!!!!!! Off to fix that right now! Thank you, Trish! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Narci says
Oh, that looks amazing! I’m going to check this out right now!
Carrie says
Everything you made using the products look yummy. Do you know if the cans are bpa free.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Carrie! I’m not sure. Let me see what I can find out! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Meghan says
Hi! Can you link the shirt you’re wearing? 🙂 I think I have it in black, I think it was from Loft?? Looks so cute in the purple you’re wearing. I was checking their website and can’t find it…maybe it’s not available anymore. Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Meghan! It is from LOFT, but it’s several years old. So sorry! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Pamela says
Hi, Sheaffer! I’m wondering what your favorite TP is? I’m always looking for a better one.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Pamela! I cannot believe I can’t remember the brand name right now….but we most often get the kind that has the golden retriever puppies on it! Ha! 🙂
Amy D says
I just placed my Brandless order–my third box from them. We really like the cheese crackers. The fig crisps were good too. I started taking their vitamins. And we use the hand soap. Overall, I have checked price per ounce compared to other places, and I think it’s a good value.
Sheaffer says
Hey, Amy! Thanks for the feedback! I’m placing another order tomorrow! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Susan Stanley says
Could you tell me the quantities you used when making the Quinoa salad? I love Brandless and purchase their products every month. I love their pasta, beef jerky, coconut oil, dog shampoo, blueberry granola, oatmeal bowls, kitchen utensils, just to name a few.
Sheaffer says
Hey, Susan! I don’t follow a recipe. I just chop and add till it looks right! 🙂
Emily says
I tried to use the code Sheaffer for my Brandless order and it doesn’t work.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Emily! This post was originally published in September of 2018, and the code was probably only good for 48-72 hours. So sorry!
