Happy Monday, friends!
Today’s post is all about celebrating the Mamas in our lives! Heaven knows that they (WE!) deserve some celebrating.
Usually I do this post later in April, but I’ve had a handful of requests already for some ideas, so I thought I would go ahead and put a post together. After all, May 12th will be here before we know it, so it’s time to grab a gift or 2 for our sweet moms. And let’s be honest, it’s also time to throw a hint our husband’s and kid’s ways as well.
LET’S CELEBRATE ALL THE MAMAS, y’all!
I’ve rounded up some great gifts today. Some are items that I own and love, and other items are ones that just caught my eye. I know that I would personally love to receive any of these gifts.
1) charcuterie board / 2) candle / 3) stud earrings / 4) split neck blouse / 5) cross necklace / 6) Burberry Her perfume / 7) bucket bag / 8) hydrangeas / 9) best bubble bath ever / 10) cozy throw / 11) personalized photo art / 12) Our Place Always Pan / 13) pillowcase / 14) bracelet / 15) jewelry box / 16) robe / 17) face oil #9 / 18) hair mask
1) charcuterie board / Charcuterie boards are all the rage right now. Gift your mom a board by itself, or maybe put some pretty packaged items on it like dried fruits, olives, specialty crackers, jam etc. She will have the items on hand next time she entertains and will be well on her way to creating a wow worthy board! You could also get this gorgeous Platters and Boards book to go along with it that will walk you or your mama through 40 easy to create boards/recipes.
2) candle / I saw this candle on Instagram, I threw it in my cart immediately, and it was on my porch that afternoon. It smells absolutely amazing. It’s a light scent (vanilla, pear, and coconut), and it smells lovely while not being overwhelming.
I highly suggest you grab this candle warmer to go with it too. I kept seeing these candle lamps on Instagram, I finally got one for myself, and I’M AMAZED AT HOW IT WELL IT WORKS. Not only does the room fill up with the candle scent (I 100% think the candle is more fragrant under the lamp than it is if it’s being burned), and it also appears that the candle is going to last forever!!! It burns evenly, consistently, and barely any wax seems to disappear even after the candle warmer is on for hours and hours at a time.
This particular warmer has low, medium, and high settings AND you can set a timer for it to turn off after 2, 4, or 8 hours.
3) stud earrings / Every mama needs a pair of studs that she loves. You really can’t get more classic than a pair of sparkly studs, and these are incredibly sparkly AND an incredible deal. Personally, I know that I used to want a pair of real diamond studs for myself, but I don’t anymore. Now the fake ones are so pretty, so sparkly, and look so real!!!
4) split neck blouse / I dedicated most of Friday’s post to this blouse. And when I first tried it on, one of my first thoughts was that my mom would love the blouse too, so I had to include it in today’s gift guide. Click HERE to see it on me and to see several outfit planning collages with the patterned version and the solid color version.
5) cross necklace / I have owned this necklace for at least 3 years now and it’s truly beautiful. It’s quite sparkly, and I think it looks quite real.
6) Burberry Her perfume / I purchased this perfume for myself a couple of years ago after smelling it on my friend when I got in her car. It’s LOVELY.
7) bucket bag / Bucket bags are super popular right now, and this one is too cute with the raffia. Use the code STMT10 for 10% OFF.
8) hydrangeas / I’m not big on fake florals, but these hydrangeas are incredibly lifelike. I have some in a vase on a bedside table…
and look how pretty they are arranged in this white pitcher.
9) best bubble bath ever / I’ve talked about this bubble bath for years. It’s PRICEY, but it truly is the best bubble bath you will ever use.
10) cozy throw / My favorite throw for quite a few years was this one from Nordstrom (and I do still love it), but this is my new favorite throw. It’s heavier, warmer, and even cozier! I have this animal print, and I also own it in the neutral “beige”.
11) personalized photo art / Do you remember my Mother’s Day post from a couple of years ago? I gifted my mom with some personalized art (with the help of my nephew Bennett). 🙂 I was so proud and excited to give it to her the gift, and she was absolutely thrilled to receive it.
Click HERE for the post all about the personalized art. Click HERE for the art.
I love how personalized gifts let the recipient know that you put some time, effort, and thought into the gift. Personalized gifts make the recipient feel so special!
This is the 16×16 option with the whitewashed herringbone frame. You can go as small as 8×8 (perfect for a shelf or bookcase), or you could go as big as 44×44! I went with the 16×16 because I wasn’t sure if mom would want to put it in her built-ins (they have built ins in both their living room and family room), or if she was going to want to hang it on the wall. I felt that this size would work for both options.
My sister and I worked together to figure out what pics we wanted to feature, and then it was so easy to upload them to the site and then just play around with them until I had the heart just like I wanted it to look.
12) Our Place Always Pan / I can’t talk about this pan enough. It’s without a doubt the most used piece of equipment in my kitchen. I bake with it, I roast with it, I sauté with it, I serve with it, and the list goes on. Grab it right now, for yourself and your mama too. I’m so pumped that you can now find it on Amazon!
13) pillowcase / I have AND LOVE this pillowcase. Erika gave it one year at our annual gift exchange, and I’ve slept with it every night since. I even travel with it because it’s just not the same to sleep without it. It’s good for your skin, for your hair, and I love how it’s cold when I lay down my head at night. It comes in several color/pattern options, the reviews are incredible, and it’s under $20 right now!
14) bracelet / When gifting mamas, it seems that you can do no wrong if you choose to gift Kendra Scott. The little yellow box is familiar to all and brings immediate smiles.
15) jewelry box / I have a Kendra Scott jewelry box that I love, but it’s super expensive, and I think this one is a wonderful (and affordable) option!
16) robe / This floral robe is so feminine and lovely! Give it on its own, or package it with the pillowcase, the candle, the cozy throw, or the Colleen Rothschild products.
17) face oil #9 and 18) hair mask / These two products are two of my most used products from Colleen Rothschild. I combine the face oil with my moisturizer, and my skin drinks it up! The hair mask has absolutely changed my hair. It’s so much shinier and healthier since I started using it. I absolutely love giving CR products as gifts, and I’ve given countless products to my mom over the years. She is always thrilled to receive them, whether it’s a replacement for one of her favorites that she’s out of or if I’m introducing her to something new. Remember that you can always use the code STMT20 for 20% OFF, but they were running a BUY MORE SAVE MORE SALE over the weekend, and sometimes they will extend those sales thru Monday!

That’s all for today, ladies!
I hope I provided you with some Mother’s Day inspiration and you were able to cross the task of buying a gift for your sweet mom off your list.
And let’s be honest, ladies. Sure, you could send your hubby a hint…OR you could go ahead and just grab something for yourself and tell your hubby that you have Mother’s Day handled. 😉 #everybodywins

Your timing is perfect! I just realized yesterday that my diamond studs didn’t make it back from a recent vacation. I’ve been kicking myself and was not about to spend the money on another pair…they were real and uninsured…sigh. Ordering the Nordstrom ones now!

FYI There is a friends and family event on the L’Occitane website through tomorrow.
The last few years I have sent my three college kids and high schooler an email reminding them of a special day that will occur in May. With finals and end of the year things, they need a gentle reminder (along with links) to some things that their momma might like. This is a great list!

The candle warmer is fantastic! I may have been known to forget to blow out a candle here or there 😳 so I love the timer on this. And though the wax in the candle never seems to burn off, the scent definitely does wane over time. So when I can’t really smell it anymore I know it’s time for a new candle!

Good to know, Courtney!!!! That’s a great tip. I guess I haven’t warmed them long enough to notice that yet! xoxo
