Hey, Ladies! So, Mother’s Day is going to be here before we know it. It always sneaks up on me, what about y’all? And not only do we have our own mother’s to buy for…if your house is anything like my house, you also have a husband begging you to give him ideas for you. And here’s the deal, as much as I love a thoughtful gift from my husband that he picked out on his own (and I totally do)….I also happen to love a gift that I’ve picked out for myself. A gift that I definitely want, but wouldn’t necessarily treat myself to. Am I right, ladies?!?
So when Nordstrom reached out and asked me to talk about gift ideas for Mother’s Day, I didn’t hesitate. I mean, we all need ideas, right? I headed straight to Facebook and asked what price points you ladies would like to see. WELL. You were all over the place. I totally get that, so I have some gifts today that cost as little as $15….and some go up to around $200 and over. You’re sure to find something that you’ll be proud to give your mama, or proud to hint to your husband to give you. Heck, forward him this post as a little friendly hint. I promise he’ll appreciate it. 🙂
Let’s start with an outfit I wore last week. When I wore it, I realized that several pieces I was wearing would make great Mother’s Day gifts! In fact, pretty much everything but the jeans would make a really awesome gift.
It’s the earrings that are the stars of this outfit. At $65 they are a really nice gift (that will be worn ALL THE TIME), but they don’t break the bank. The ones I’m showing today are the new color, which is bronze veined turquoise. The color is really bright, vibrant, and totally eye catching. These will look awesome with so many different colors. I love them with this hot pink, but they will also look amazing with white, coral, and black. Click HERE to see all of the different pieces they have to offer in this new colorway.
The top is true to size. I’m wearing a small, and sporting a 1/2 tuck. Sadly, the bright pink I’m wearing seems to be out of stock right now, but there is a similar top HERE. There’s also a fun off the shoulder blouse in the same color HERE. The necklaces are both sold out as well, but I found some that are very similar, and THIS one is ONLY $19! (FYI: The brand is “Girly”, it’s not a necklace from the girl’s department.) Also, you can see the back has an adjustable slider, so you can find the length that’s perfect for you! The jeans are true to size, I’m wearing a 27. I suggest sizing up a 1/2 size in the sandals (I know my mom would love these).
MUST HAVE tunic (super similar top in hot pink that is in stock HERE) / turquoise earrings / similar short necklace / necklace sold out….$19 option HERE, $26 fringe pendant necklace HERE and $24 beaded circle pendant HERE/ white jeans / sandals
I’m not sure what was going on with my hair here, so let’s not focus on the weird protrusions in the back….especially on the photo on the left. Look away from the hair. 🙂 Just focus on the bags. Because in addition to the jewelry I’m wearing, the bag options I’m showing would also make great gifts. And the $49 price point for each bag is affordable!
square cross body / neutral tote
These bracelets would also make wonderful gifts. Each would be very nice given by itself….but put them together for a serious WOW. You know I’ve had this same Kendra Scott bracelet in the platinum druzy and gold combo for awhile now, but I just added this turquoise bracelet (and the earrings) above to my collection last week…thank you birthday gift card! This bracelet is the same colorway as the earrings, but I thought this shot gave you a really true idea of the color. GORGEOUS!
And for those of you that are wondering, I will wear matchy matchy earrings with a bracelet….or even a necklace with a bracelet…but I wouldn’t wear matchy matchy earrings with a necklace. I know others do, I just prefer to mix it up a bit.
turquoise bracelet / blingy bangle

All right, now I’m going to give you TONS (literally) of other gift ideas for Mother’s Day. Let’s start out with this fun graphic I made. Not all moms are really in to jewelry or clothes, but I’m willing to bet that most are in to pampering themselves. Everything in this next picture is made for pampering!
Let’s start out talking about the jersey robe, and then the reviews of all of the products will be below the picture! I set up this picture and took it before I even tried the robe on. And I have to say, I didn’t love it. It’s thin (which I didn’t mind), but it showed every single lump and bump (which I DO mind). However, it has EXCELLENT reviews, so I think I must be in the minority, and it’s a really great price point at $38.
jersey robe / lavendar foaming bath / lip scrub / lemon body cream / barefoot dreams socks / waffle spa slipper / hand cream / foot relief cream
Okay, so the lavendar foaming bath. I know what you’re thinking. $38 FOR BUBBLE BATH? I know. It’s shocking. But it’s lovely and luxurious and fabulous. The scent will truly transport you and the bubbles are better than any other bubbles I’ve ever experienced. If your mom is a bath person, TREAT HER TO THIS. I got a bottle 2 years ago at a conference, and I continue to purchase it, even though it’s expensive. I’m not typically a bath person, but when I do take one, I always use this. I love everything about the experience, including my baby soft skin afterwards. I wanted to read what others had to say about it in the online reviews, and I now want to be friends with the reviewer Kate88Kate. Here’s what she had to say: So make sure your mortgage is manageable and you’ve got a good financial strategy because once you go down the L’Occitane road it’s a one -way trip. KATE! Let’s be besties! Click HERE for all L’Occitane products if you want to check out all they have to offer.
This lip scrub. Let’s talk about the packaging. The little tub AND the box it comes in are so flipping cute. And then when you add that the product actually does what it claims, you’ve got a great gift.
The lemon body cream is a thick and rich overall body lotion. I love the scent of lemons, so this is right up my alley.
Socks? Socks, you say? NOT JUST ANY SOCKS. Socks from the maker of the blardigan (and the baby blardigan). So basically, socks woven by angels. If your mama already has a blardigan, these would be a nice addition.
These spa slippers are comfy as all get out, and lots of the reviewers online mention that they have problem feet and that these are great for them! And…I know this is weird…but they smell like coconut. Maybe it’s just the pair I received, but they definitely smell delicious. Seriously! Another great things about these slippers is that they are machine washable! Others styles from the same make are available HERE.
The hand cream comes in a cute little flowery sleeve, which also makes for a nice presentation. It smells lovely and is nice and thick.
So the packaging might not be pretty for this foot relief cream, but let’s look beyond the packaging. Because it’s a FABULOUS product with near perfect reviews. People are straight up OBSESSED with it. Go check out the reviews. Everybody says the mint scent is so fresh and that the cream leaves their heels smooth AND CRACK FREE. SAY WHAT? Everybody also says it’s fast absorbing. When I read the reviews, I was sold. The cream arrived just in time for the picture, but I am looking so forward to using it!
Just click on the product(s) you are interested in. I think it’s high time to pamper yourself and/or your mama!
Okay, so that wraps up the products in the TIME TO PAMPER MOM graphic above. Now we are moving on to different gift giving ideas, and I’m going to break them down by price points…UNDER $25…$25-$50, $50-100, Over $100. I’m giving lots of ideas today in hopes that one of them will make your gift giving easy!
$25 and UNDER GIFTS…
I’m highlighting a couple of really great options in this price range. In addition to the barefoot dreams socks and some of the creams seen above, look at THIS gorgeous necklace (that you saw on me several weeks ago) for $19! Click HERE for the original post that highlights tons of jewelry and bags from $14-$100.
blouse /stone and tassel pendant necklace / earrings / frayed hem jeans / leopard flats / cross body strap
And check out this darling polka dot tumbler for $18. This alone could be the gift, or you could attach a Starbucks gift card or a box of tea!

$25-50 GIFTS…
For some reason, I had difficulty finding a wide variety of things in this price point, but I still managed to grab a handful of items perfect for gift giving.
Click HERE for this bracelet stack for $42.
I have (and love!) THIS Grapefruit diffuser from Nest. If you put this in a small space….like a hallway, a bathroom, a closet..the entire room will smell DIVINE.
Personalized gifts are always sweet to give. And a make-up bag is always practical. This one is large (width of a little over 11″, so it would be great for travel.

$50-$100 GIFTS…
$50-$100 seems to be the sweet spot for most of you, so I pulled lots of items for this category.
Click HERE for these flip flops on the cushiest of leather and foam soles! I feel like these were made for my mom. They come in several different colorways, so make sure you check them all out. At $54, they pack a lot of bang for the buck!
I first saw THIS JEWELRY LINE when shopping at Northpark one day. The necklaces were all very pretty, but it’s definitely the packaging that initially caught my eye.
When I learned more about these necklaces, I thought they were so cool! Not only is the packaging special, but the word on the necklace is revealed when you give the disc a quick spin! Click HERE for the “MOM” necklace. Click HERE for all of the choices.
If your mom (or you!) is a leopard lover, y’all will love these leopard sandals. Get them for her and tell her that Sheaffer Told You To. 😉
You can find all Jo Malone products HERE, and every single last one of them would make a wonderful gift. I love so many of her scents, but Nectarine Blossom and Honey is my new favorite. It’s so fresh and light, and not flowery. I’ve talked about this before, but strong scents give me a headache. This one doesn’t! With each scent, you can choose the cologne, a candle, hand lotion, bath oil, or body cream. These items are luxurious. And I absolutely love the packaging.
I think we’ve established that jewelry is pretty much ALWAYS a good idea. And I know most ladies love turquoise. Fair warning, this necklace that I showed you last week is heavy..but it’s a real show stopper. If your mama likes bold and chunky jewelry, this would be a great choice! Click HERE for the entire post if you want to see the rest of the outfit and missed it last week!
ruffle peplum top / turquoise necklace / leopard clutch / sunglasses /white jeans / wedges / earrings
I told you before that Elle earrings are my favorite Kendra Scott earrings, and I just spotted THESE pave beauties that are new! AT $85, your mom will feel spoiled! They are also available in the Alex shape HERE (on the left). CHRIS. I LIKE THESE. A LOT. #hinthint
A Mom’s Day gift guide wouldn’t be complete without highlighting the blardigan. Still HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE BEST GIFT TO GIVE. I wear mine every. single. day. NO LIE. Every day. And my 8 year old wears it almost every day as well. I know I’ve been talking about this product for 3 years now, but people who are new to the blog need to know about it. IT’S MY JOB TO MAKE SURE THEY KNOW ABOUT IT. #justkidding #notreally It comes in plus sizes too.

GIFT IDEAS OVER $100…
The baby blardigan also needs to be mentioned, but since it’s over $100, it falls in this last category. It’s a shorter version of the blardigan with a little bit more style AND POCKETS. The baby blardigan is easier to wear out of the house and looks great with jeans. I actually reach for this one over my original blardigan now, even when just at the house. It’s the pockets. They get me.
When I say I wear one of my blardigans just about every day, I’m not kidding. Here I am in it yesterday. No make up, dirty hair, a t-shirt and cut offs. I was working on the computer and was chilly. So, I grabbed it. Problem solved. I was immediately cozy. (Sidenote: No worries, ladies. I’m getting a spray tan tomorrow.) 😉
Y’ALL. I would have ordered this initial disc necklace last week so I could have had it to show for this post, but I just found it last night. I think it’s GORGEOUS. Look at the different color stones!
A watch is always a very nice gift….. and my double wrap leather watch is BACK IN STOCK!
gold bracelet / similar enamel bracelet (I LOVE the new Kelly green one!)
If you or your mom has been very good this year, maybe you could ask for THIS striped tote. At $295 it’s a luxury item, but DANG IT’S CUTE! Obviously, anything Tory Burch would make a realllllllly nice gift.
I hope this has helped you in your Mother’s Day hunt and has made your gift buying easier. I for one know I’m excited to give my mom her gifts (can’t say what they are, because she reads here!)…and maybe I’ll go ahead and send this on to Chris for some inspiration.
BABE. Do me proud. 😉
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.
