Merry Christmas, everybody! From our home to yours!
I hope you are snuggled up at home with family and friends and soaking up as much Christmas spirit and magic as you can.
I would like to take a moment to say a genuine and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you. This little community we’ve created together brings me so much joy, and I hope it brings you some as well. I am so grateful to all of you for your loyalty and your kindness. Y’all are the absolute best, and I’m just so tickled that there are people out there who spend part of their day on this blog. I’m just so incredibly thankful for you.
If you’re my real-life friend or family member and wondering why you didn’t receive the above Christmas card, it’s because I didn’t actually order them to send out. Y’all. I just can’t seem to get it together!
I mean, I ordered a whopping 5 cards that will arrive sometime next week, but that’s just so we can put one on our tree and I can give them to grandparents. This is the 3rd year in a row that we didn’t send a card out, and instead I’m just posting the digital file on the blog and social media. #maybenextyear
CHRISTMAS CARD MEMORIES
Just for fun, let’s take a short walk down memory lane with some of our cards from previous years.
2021
2020…
Soooooooooooooooooooo……..
Are we sensing a theme?
Carter with a dog on each side and a black and white picture seems to be a winning combo for a Christmas card.
In 2019 the card never happened.
Shame on me. This picture deserves to be on a card.
2018
This was 2017….
This one will forever be my favorite.
2016…
2015…
2013…
2011…
Also 2011…
And 2008.
OH MY WORD.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with loved ones.
It is my hope this Christmas that we all take time to really soak up some wonderful moments with the ones we hold dear. I do know that there are some of you that are going through really hard seasons right now, and I will lift up prayers for you.
And as always at Christmas, I find myself the most thankful for the baby that was born in a manger, that lived His life among men, and then gave that life so that we may spend eternity with Him.
What an incredible gift!
Merry Christmas and lots of love from my family to yours!
