Today is a little bit different over here.
I’m not talking about my favorite jeans, or jewelry, or a great sale.
I’m talking about something much more dear to me.
My friend Manda.
If you’ve been reading here for awhile, you’ve “met” Manda before.

My friend Manda.
If you’ve been reading here for awhile, you’ve “met” Manda before.
Manda is one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. She is also incredibly brave. And strong.
She’s a wife to Aaron, a mom to Aiden and Miley, and a friend to many.
She’s a wife to Aaron, a mom to Aiden and Miley, and a friend to many.
And she has been battling cancer with FAITH OVER FEAR.
Manda first battled and beat cancer at the age of five years old. Two weeks after giving birth to her first child, at the age of 28, the cancer resurfaced. At that time she made the tough decision to amputate her leg AND undergo treatment. And then, years after winning her second battle with cancer, Manda started her 3rd fight when it came back last fall.
It’s now almost a year after starting her 3rd battle, and my friend Andrea asked Manda to write something about her journey. She gave her free reign to write anything she wanted to, and she decided to write about some things that cancer has taught her.

Your group of friends is amazing, and so is the one girl in the group to whom you've dedicated your blogpost to today! I am so thankful for her that she has a loving, caring group of friends, that she has a husband who supports and doesn't run from uncertainty and pain, and that she has God to help her and her family through it all!! The best wishes to her and her family for continued health and happiness!! And also my best wishes to anyone else who is battling any kind of illness!! When hope fades and fears set in, look to God to guide you through!!
