If you follow me on facebook, then you saw my post last night about LOFT going 50% OFF!
It was only supposed to be through last night…but they just extended it for today also!

So, I’m going to start today with some of the new things I found.
3 different cardigans that are all AWESOME.
A great sweater that I’m going to be wearing with regular blue jeans, with my grey jeans, and with my new zip cords!
And speaking of zip cords, LOFT has THE BEST cords right now!  And at 50% OFF they are $30!
30 bucks!  For an awesome pair of pants.
Okay.
Let’s get to it.

(I think they are normally $78, so that’s almost a $20 savings!
I’m also wearing THIS BEAUTIFUL tee in all of my cardigan pictures.
I was wearing a medium because I wanted it a little slouchy and not at all fitted.  
I absolutely loved these next 3 cardigans.
If you guys read the blog last week when I wore the skinny cargo pants with the neutral cardigan and leopard scarf (find the post HERE if you want to see my too short cardi in action), then you’ll remember that I realized that my cardigan was WAY TOO SHORT.  So, that’s why you are about to see lots of cardigans.  
Mama needed some new cardigans.
And I have a post scheduled sometime in the next couple of weeks where I talk about how jeans, a tee, a cardigan, and a scarf is the easiest fall combo imaginable!!!!!

12/15 5 star reviews, and the other 3 were 4 star.
I was wearing a medium petite because it’s all they had in store.  But I would have preferred a regular small.  You guys fell in love with the striped GAP waterfall cardigan of mine from several years ago, this doesn’t have stripes, but it’s a nice alternative!
Loved this next one too.  Super soft and thin for just a light layer.
It comes in 7 different colors and I loved it.

 This next cardigan is quite a bit heavier than the last.  It has a lot of texture to it and also has a great fit.  It comes in 3 colors.

I got this cardigan in the color below (deep tomato red) and it’s so pretty!
I sized up and got a medium in this one for a more relaxed fit.
Like I said before, I will be wearing this sweater with my denim jeans, my grey jeans, and my new cords!

And by the way, what kind of color is light sesame melange?!?  🙂
I know I mentioned THE COATIGAN (click HERE) in a post last week, so somebody asked me to review it last night on facebook.  Now, I haven’t had it on (it was on a mannequin in the store and I didn’t want to ask to get it off), but at first glance I wasn’t impressed.  
It looked kind of shapeless and wasn’t nearly so soft as THE BLARDIGAN (click HERE).
Maybe the blardigan has just ruined me?!?
(In the best possible way of course.)
Now again, I never tried it on, so this is just a snap judgement, but just in case you were wondering.
And I have NO idea why I don’t have a picture of myself in this next item, because they are AWESOME.
These cords are soft, stretchy, and I love the zipper detailing at the bottom.
They will be great with flats, booties, and the legs are tight enough that they will also look great with tall boots!

I picked a blouse, a pair of skinny jeans, a necklace, a coat, and a pair of booties.
It wasn’t easy, because LOFT does Fall soooooooo well (they always have) and there were lots and lots of lovely things that caught my eye.
I mean, I’ve been shopping at LOFT for about 15 years now, and I always find myself exceptionally fond of their fall stuff.  You know what else they do crazy well?  HOLIDAY!
They really hit it out of the park every year with their holiday dresses, fancy tops, and blingy jewelry!
And you know what else they do SUPER well?  Business Casual!
Last year I did a “WORK IT” post (find it HERE) where I highlighted office wear only from LOFT! Maybe I should do that again in November?
But I digress.
 Back to Fall. 


Anyway, I wanted to create a head to toe look with all LOFT items, and it’s a perfect 
fall look ifidosaysomyself.

I mean, really.
The whole outfit is extra cute right?
I absolutely love the colors in the shirt (the olive with navy, cream, and a dusty rose), the zipper detail on the jeans is so nice, and the cuffed booties are to die for.
I really liked the overall look.  And although super cute with jeans, I think this top would pair so well with suit pants or a pencil skirt for the office.

Here’s a close up of the booties.
I didn’t love the booties with these particular jeans (the jeans were a little long for me to tuck neatly into the bootie), but I tried them with a pair of my skinny ankle jeans and they were perfect!  They tucked right in!
And fyi:  the lining isn’t throughout the boot, it’s really just for show, but it’s a really cute show!  🙂
I will be wearing these A LOT.
They are a perfect cognac color.
I’m a 6 or a 6 1/2 depending on the shoe (more often a 6 1/2), but I’m a 6 in these.

And let’s not forget the coat I picked out.
Because OH SWEET MERCY THE COAT.
The pictures really don’t do it justice.

    Ugh! This post is evil!! I am DYING for those booties but I am on a no buy for the rest of this month as we are going to Hawaii next month. Fingers crossed that they are still around for Black Friday (the one advantage of having big feet!!)
    That being said, I finally caved and got my first blardigan last week. I may or may not have accosted my UPS driver on my driveway and tried it on right then and there….

    I stopped by last night, in the driving rain of a Nor'easter, but it was WELL WORTH it! And honestly, I think I might go back today! I got the asymetrical zip sweater/jacket, cream skinnys, a burgandy cut-out top and two tanks for $76! OMG!

    I love the textural tunic sweater! Got it last week. Great style and I love the fact that it covers my butt. Ordered another color last night.

    I got the coatigan too. Here's my review: it is nothing like the blardigan. Thicker, more structural and definitely not as soft. I like it and I think it will be great to wear on those days you don't quite need a warm jacket (pretty often here in the South). But if anyone is expecting it to be a cheaper blardigan, they will be disappointed.

    I love this blog so much! I have been reading your blog for a while now and I have wanted a blardigan since your very first post about it. But I always felt guilty spending the money for it. Last October my dear friend, Barbara was diagnosed with breast cancer and by December she was Home with Jesus. I miss her every single day. I miss her hugs. Barbara's birthday is Saturday so I bought myself a blardigan and it arrived yesterday but I am waiting to open on Saturday. And every time I wear it, it will be like Barbara is hugging me. It'll be my Barbara Blardigan. I know it probably sounds weird but I think it'll be comforting especially on those days when I am just really missing her. Thank you for all the work you put into this blog. It's a joy to read and a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

      Hi there! I actually don't have any leopard booties! I love them, and I have 2 different pairs of leopard flats, but no booties yet. Wear them with anything and everything, they are a neutral!!!!!

I had never ordered from Loft before but based on your recommendations, I just ordered 2 cardigans and the tee. So tell Loft that having you do your reviews was a success.     I seriously am so glad I stumbled upon your blog somehow. I absolutely love seeing how you put outfits together and it gives me encouragement to try thinking outside the box when it comes to dressing up. Especially for school as a teacher!! I so do not have any more room in my closet but could totally see some of the stuff in the 50% off sale ending up in it.

    Thanks so much for the post! I wore my must have hue wide band leggings you recommended and got 3 tunics to wear with them from the Loft sale and a tank top. Only spent 100.00 bucks which is a bargain considering one tunic alone was 89.00 presale. You rock..!

      Hi Natalie! They are sold out which is why the link says "similar". The cut I'm wearing are the Thompson Tomboy. There are some Thompson Tomboys still available, but they are a little bit different too. Sorry!
