Over the last 3 years I’ve added 1 new pair of UGGs to my closet each year. THESE cardy boots were my gateway to a full blown UGG obsession. And then last year I got THESE slim profile boots. And then last month I bought THESE. So when Nordstrom asked me if I wanted to share about the UGG brand, it took me all of about .2 seconds to agree!
Let’s start out with the slim profile UGG boots that came out last year. I was actually introduced to them when UGG reached out and asked if I would review them, and I immediately fell in love. Basically, they went and fancied up their signature boot. They are everything we know and love about UGG, but now they are better. How are they better? Well, they are prettier and more feminine because they are MUCH slimmer. And if you are like me, you want everything on your body to look as skinny as possible. AND THAT INCLUDES YOUR FEET! 😉 This boot also has a bit of a wedge. Which I love. OH! AND THEY ARE WATER RESISTANT! Mine are the medium height, but there are 3 different heights and they come in several different colors.
Concerning sizing, I find these slim profile boots to be true to size. Last year I first ordered down 1/2 a size, like I had done with other UGG boots in the past, but they were too small. My normal 6 1/2 is perfect on me! The website suggests to actually order up if you are between sizes.
Once the temperature dips down, I wear them constantly. Here I paired them with my cranberry cowl neck pullover (this color sold out, but 2 other colors available) and my Wit and Wisdom black jeans. If you don’t have this pullover, you need to correct that asap. It’s soft, comfy, and you can wear it with leggings (as you’ll see later in this post).
I continue to receive e-mails about these jeans and people professing their undying love for them (and actually several different pairs of jeans from the Wit and Wisdom line). The ab-solution technology is truly amazing and we are all fans. The technology sucks you in (while still allowing you to breathe), and since they are women’s sizing (instead of junior’s sizing) they are a better fit for many of you that don’t feel juniors sizing works for you.
Let’s look at a lot of different outfits I wore just last year with my slim profile boots .
So if you you’ve been reading here for awhile, you know that I’ve actually been an UGG fan since 2014 when I bought THESE. I had never owned a pair of UGGs before then, but when at the family ranch, I put on a pair of Monica’s (Chris’s cousin’s wife) UGGs when we were sitting on her back patio because my tootsies were FREEZING. I couldn’t believe how warm they kept my feet, and I bought my first pair the next week. I initially went with the cardy UGGs because at that point I still wasn’t sure about the classic UGG look, but I’ve obviously come around on that.
Here’s a close up of them worn tall. Concerning sizing, these only come in 1/2 sizes, and I got a 6. I’m normally a 6 1/2…but sometimes a 6…and the 6s were perfect on me.
And here’s what they look like folded down. I love them both ways.
And just because, I wanted to show you that the tunic is long enough to wear with leggings. And I love my cardi boots with the graphite heather leggings.
The back covers all the necessary parts as well.
Here I am in just a couple of outfits from last year.
And in case you want to check out some of the other styles they have currently, I took some pics on my last shopping trip! Click HERE for the Meilani bow back boots.
Click HERE for the studded Cyd boot. I absolutely love the studs and that these have the little wedge as well.
Click HERE for the Tania. These make me want to walk go on a hike in cold weather. Just kidding. They make me want to put them on with pajama leggings and curl up by a fire while watching Sweet Home Alabama.
And if you haven’t checked out the UGG brand in awhile, you might not know that they also have other types of boots as well (that don’t look like the classic UGG). Click HERE for these heeled booties with great reviews. Several say they run small, so keep that in mind when ordering. And they just went ON SALE!
Click HERE for the Joely wedge boots.
Here’s a round up of some other UGG favorites. Just click on the little picture you are interested in!
Oh…I almost forgot to show you the UGGs I added to my closet just this month. I bought them because Shay wouldn’t stop talking about them. #shaytoldmeto I mean, I’ve been known to wear the other pairs I own with pajamas, but these are just so easy to slip on. And you can wear them out to the mailbox even though they are slippers because of the thick rubber soles. Click HERE for all of the slipper choices for both men and women (because they make GREAT gifts)! Click HERE for the slippers with the bows, click HERE for the slippers without. If you are a 1/2 size, I suggest sizing down. The insides will pack down with wear and they will stretch a bit, so even if they fill a little snug at first, they should be fine. (When I went up a 1/2 size, the back would slip off my heel.)
And girls, Shay and I like them so much that they might end up in a giveaway at the end of this month. A HUGE giveaway. #spoileralert 😉 A huge thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. And just for fun, if you are UGG obsessed like I am, I’d love for you to leave a comment telling us about your favorite pair!
p.s. HUGE SALE going on right now with lots of awesome basics at amazing prices!
