Leopard and Green

Today I’ve got 1 outfit you.  Yep, just 1.  But don’t you worry, it’s a really good one.

It’s filled with pieces I love, including a MUST HAVE from last year and a pair of jeans that I probably should have named a must have a couple of years ago.

So what makes this outfit so good?  Not only is it made of up lots of great individual pieces, but the color combo is what I really love.

Y’all know I’m a sucker for leopard with green.  It’s a combination that just pops, and I always look for ways to pair the two together year after year.  Last month I styled my beloved pointy toe leopard flats with a Kelly green sweater.  It was one of my favorites outfits last month, and it was one of y’alls favorites as well based upon facebook and instagram likes.  Click HERE to see it.

Well, today I’m pairing leopard with green again, but with different pieces. I have a darling leopard shirt and some fabulous green earrings.  I’m styling them with a tote, jeans, and wedges that you’ve seen many times on the blog before (and many of you might already have them as well).

I like the outfit so much, I thought it deserved it’s own post.

This leopard button up is fabulous.  Plain and simple.  I’ve featured silky leopard tops before, but this is the first time I’ve featured a cotton voile.  It’s 100% cotton and very lightweight.  And get this….it doesn’t seem to wrinkle!

I of course love it here with black jeans, but it will also look great with regular denim and white denim as well!  I’m wearing it pretty casually here, but it could be dressed up very easily.  It will look great with black ankle work pants (or if you are daring, a gorgeous green pair).  This orange/red pair would be awesome too with a great pair of nude heeled sandals.  And think how cute it would be with a pencil skirt!

As I mentioned before, it’s lightweight, so I will wear this blouse all the way into summer.  But here’s the deal, I actually consider it a year round shirt because it will be awesome under a blazer or leather jacket!

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a large restock of the earrings.  I grabbed them within the first couple of days of them being on the site last week, but this particular color is already sold out.  They are currently available in navy, white, and gold.  They are very lightweight and make quite a colorful statement.

You might remember when I first talked about this tote in my travel post.

The cognac tote is reversible (it’s black too!) and such a great buy at just under $50.  It’s big (but not too big), and it holds my 15″ laptop which makes it perfect for travel.

My favorite black jeans are what I probably should have named a must have a couple of years ago. These jeans have Ab-solution technology, which means that the jeans suck you in, while somehow still allowing you to breathe.  They just hug you in all the right places and they don’t stretch out during the day.  If between sizes, I would suggest sizing down because although they don’t stretch out, they are very stretchy!  (Click HERE to see me in them with a striped tee and military jacket.)

And these are the must have wedges.  They are true to size for me, but some readers that have wider feet have said that they sized up 1/2 a size.  They are easy to walk in, look great with a variety of outfits, and are reasonably priced at just UNDER $80.  Oh, and one more thing.  They are DARLING.

And get this!  They now come in 7 colors!
