This year Nordstrom has recruited some bloggers to help them highlight different menswear lines just in time for some holiday gift giving!
I was asked to show some items from the Peter Millar Collection.
And when I found out that I would get a gift card for a reader, I was all over it!
Are any of you interested in $250 to Nordstrom?!?
That’s what I thought!
WOOHOO!

The purpose of today’s post is to help you TOTALLY KNOCK OUT the shopping for ALL the men in your life all at one time, all in one place.
We’re talking husbands, dads, brothers, brother in laws, sons, sons-in-laws, EVERYBODY.
Nordstrom is THE PERFECT place to do this for 2 reasons:
1)  Free Shipping
2)  Free Returns.
Shopping for the men in your life is a no-brainer because of this.
Their return policy is HANDS DOWN the best in the business, and whatever you order online comes with a return address label on it.  So, if for some reason your man doesn’t love the gift, neither one of you have to even go back to the store to return it.
Just slap the label on the box, and pop it right back in the mail.
It’s stupid easy.
Seriously, just get it all done right now and cross it off your list!
(And if you’re like me, if shopping for the guys in your life isn’t actually written down on a list yet, that’s ok.  Shop, then write it down, and then cross it off.  That’s what I’d do anyway!  Doesn’t it feel sooooooooooooooooo good to cross things off a list?!?)

Last year I did a gift guide for men with things from all over the internet.  But I realized that wasn’t conducive to EASY shopping, and it often meant shipping charges from several different retailers  So, today I’ve pulled things only from Nordstrom.  It was the only place that made sense, because Nordstrom carries MY VERY FAVORITE gift for guys.  And I would NEVER do a men’s gift guide without this VERY FAVORITE item.

I’m going to start out with the Peter Millar stuff.

Over the last 5 years, Chris has purchased 3 of these jackets for himself.  And that’s sayin’ somethin’, because quite unlike me, my hubby does not care about clothes and rarely buys clothes for himself.  
He likes them for their functionality (they are warm without being bulky), and I like them because I think he looks so cute in them!   That’s a WIN WIN!:)

They are SO easy to care for..I just throw them in the wash and dry them for like 10 minutes and they come out perfectly every single time.  Chris has walked in with it COVERED in mud before.  We hose it off, throw it in the wash, and it looks as good as new!

that spans every price point imaginable.  They even have 245 luxury watches between $500 and $2,000!  Now THAT would be a nice present.


However, if you are looking for something a bit more within reach, there are lots of watches for between $100-$300 HERE.
(It appears that I’m a little bit widget impaired.  There are supposed to be 3 watches below.  I don’t know why those 3 watches are appearing 74,000 times.  Oh well.)
My favorite is the Fossil on the left that is only $105!

Best Running Shoes Ever
I
run 20-40 miles a week and these have been the best shoes I have ever
bought. Light, good feel and just enough cushion for short and longer
distances. I own 3 pairs now and just alternate them between runs.
Average life of the shoe is 250-300 miles.


For the record, I would like to tell the man that wrote that review to grab a bag of potato chips and pop a squat on the couch.
Take a day off man, you deserve it.

My guy isn’t a runner, but when he broke a bone in his foot earlier this year, his doctor recommended (STRONGLY recommended) that he only wear Brooks tennis shoes after he got out of the boot (which he was in for 3 months!).
She said that they do a great job of supporting the foot correctly.
Chris loves them and just goes on and on about how comfy they are.

    Love all the gift ideas for my husband! We love the Northface jackets. It was one of the first things my husband bought for me when we were dating and I call it the magic jacket because you can wear it for so many different outdoor things and it adapts. He wears his almost every day in the winter. I've got some shopping to do now:)

    Do you have any ideas for men's shoes? Boring I know, but my husband needs some casual "going-out" shoes that are in between dress shoes and running shoes! Also I bought the black Miz Mooz boots during the sale in the summer, and I LOVE them so much, so comfortable and cute!

    To just throw it out there, I just bought by husband a great jacket from Nordstrom Rail by RVCA that he loved. The price was great at $75. And it is so soft. It's sort of a vest with sleeves so we couldn't decide if we should call it a jacket or a swest

    It is definitely not as fun to shop for men! Ugh! I am almost done shopping but may need to get those gloves for my husband. He just got a Northface jacket for his birthday and wears it all the time. I have 2 and could go for one more. I get a lot of use out of my coats because it is freezing in Illinois.
    I also just bought the Hue leggings and the tunic Lovie had on while I was shopping for Christmas and loved them both. I went with Espresso in the leggings and surprisingly have a ton to go with them. I was going to originally buy the black but changed my mind. Thanks for your great gift ideas.

    I've had the Northface gloves for four years. I even wear them in summer because I live in Alaska. Sure you can get cheapie knockoffs but these are far and away the best purchase I've ever made. I need pink!!
