I Found Another Great Pair of Longer Denim Shorts!

Do y’all remember back in May when I highlighted a longer pair of denim shorts?  Y’all had been asking for them, and I was so pumped when I found an awesome pair!  I loved them, and so did y’all.  Sadly, they sold out the first day I talked about them and never restocked.

WELL.

I’ve found another option!  And they are on Amazon!

They are incredibly comfy, very stretchy, and super flattering.  And they have the Ab-Solution technology that we have all come to know and love.

I love the hidden elastic waistband for a no gap fit and the interior stretch mesh panels for tummy control.  #YESPLEASE

If you don’t like a short short, but you don’t like a long and frumpy short either, THESE ARE THE SHORTS FOR YOU!  I have them rolled up two tiny cuffs here, but you can also just roll them up one tiny cuff (see this look later in the post).

For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.  I would suggest sizing down if between sizes.

Now, the only thing I don’t like about these shorts is the “sweetheart back yoke”.  Right below the waistband in the back there is a sweetheart back yoke that “holds and boosts your assets”.

I would prefer the design to be different, HOWEVER…  It doesn’t keep me from loving the shorts because I never do a full tuck, so it’s not like the sweetheart stitching will ever be seen.

Now let’s talk about the puff sleeve tee.  It feels great on.

First of all, it’s CRAZY SOFT.  The material drapes beautifully, and I love the longer sleeve.  I also love the tiny puff and all the little pleats on the sleeve.  It’s a great basic that’s a little bit special.  This is the “french blue”, but it comes in 10 total color choices (that includes a leopard pattern and a couple of stripes).

The sunglasses are the same ones that I’ve been screaming and shouting about for months now.  Under $13, y’all.  And listen to this!  You can get the combo pack with both the black sunglasses and the tortoise sunglasses for ONLY $19.99!  Incredible.

So let’s talk about the round straw bag and the strappy sandals.

My bag is the “bcamel” option, but there are several neutral variations, and I like all of them.  You can also grab a bag with or without a tassel, but I say get the tassel! It’s easily removable if you ever want to carry it without the tassel.

I can’t say enough great things about these sandals…..but more on them in a minute.

Pay attention to the cuffs of the shorts in this picture.

You’ll see that on the left they are rolled up twice, and on the right they are rolled up once.  I like wearing them both ways!

I don’t recommend rolling them all the way down, because if you do that, they flare out a bit.

Rolling them up just once will give you a little extra length, and I also like the contrasting color when just the hem is turned up.

I’ve been wearing these bad boys quite a lot lately.

Here they are with the flutter sleeve tee I showed you a couple of weeks ago.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the tee.

And great news!  They come in other washes too!  These are the “indigo” wash.

This tee is a gorgeous Kelly green (one of my very favorite colors), and it comes in a 2 pack with a navy tee.  The 2 pack is UNDER $20!  I also grabbed the animal print and black combo.

The rainbow bracelets come in a 5 pack and a 7 pack, but I went for the 7 pack since it was only $11.99.  They are so bright!  They are so much fun!  They are absolutely DARLING!

Now, let me say this, these shorts might be called “optic white”, but I don’t consider them to be optic white.  To me, “optic white” sounds like a very bright white.  My shorts are not a bright white.  They are more of a creamy white.

And now as promised, my new favorite Amazon sandals.

They are sooooooooooooooooooo good y’all.  Please, listen to me, and just let me TELL YOU TO buy these sandals.

So I’ve had the cognac sandals for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve pretty much been wearing them non stop (except for when I’ve been wearing these studded beauties).  They are incredibly comfy, have a super padded foot bed, and they are just dang cute!

After wearing the cognac ones non-stop, it just made sense for me to grab the metallic ones too.  They arrived on Friday, and they are even better than I imagined.  And they look SO GOOD with a tan.  (Get my tan HERE. Haha!)

And although I don’t like these quite as much, these are also reallllllllly great sandals.  Also real leather, also comfy, also a padded foot bed.  Personally, I just prefer the strappy sandals to these, but I knew some of you might gravitate to these instead.
