The jacket has the cut of a bomber, but with a relaxed fit. It’s quilted, and y’all know I love the stand-up collar. It has elastic at the cuffs, an adjustable toggle at the waist, and it’s made from completely recycled materials.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small, and it’s still oversized. I would definitely suggest sizing down.

So here’s the deal on the jacket…based on the reviews, people either love it or hate it. I happen to love it, and it’s an amazing deal at 40% OFF.

And y’all know I can’t shut up about these babies.

I can’t help it. I ADORE mine, and I think that everybody needs to give them a try.

They are high waisted like the Zella high waisted live in leggings we all know and love. But get this, the waistband is a soft ribbed material. They don’t have as much compression as the original leggings, which actually makes them even more comfortable! And I’ll take comfort over compression every day of the week.

In addition to the cute pockets and the awesome ribbed waistband, there are also cute little bands at the bottom. I keep getting questions on if they are more like leggings or more like joggers, so here’s my official answer: They fit like leggings, but they are more in the style of a jogger (with the big pockets and banded cuffs).  They’re awesome.

Also. THEY ARE SO SOFT. Like reallllllllllly REALLY soft.

And I’m telling you, the fit is adorable.

These are the “black”, but I think they are more of a really dark charcoal grey. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I’ve heard that some people are sizing down in these, but I like the fit of my regular size.

I told y’all about these on Friday’s post. I saw a girl in them at the mall last week, asked her where they were from, and then bought them immediately. So far I’ve only worn them around town and to walk the dogs, but I’m actually planning on exercising in them too. #GOME

I mean, it’s the new year, and I’m pledging to get more active! And now for a walk down Zella memory lane…

My love for Zella runs deep, y’all.

In honor of the HUGE SALE, I went through blog posts from the last couple of years, and I rounded up some of my favorite Zella pieces that are still available. The particular color I’m wearing in certain items might not be available anymore, but other colors or patterns are still in stock!

This sweatshirt and these must have leggings are without a doubt the most worn Zella pieces I own. I have both in multiple colors, and I mix and match them constantly.

The high low sweatshirt is soft, it’s lightweight, and it’s a super relaxed fit. And girls, I’m ALL ABOUT a super relaxed fit these days. And although the fit is definitely loose, it’s not baggy or sloppy. The arms are a subtle bat wing design which just makes it totally roomy and very comfy. Both are necessary qualities for a sweatshirt to possess. Both the small and the medium fit me in this sweatshirt, but I like the extra roominess that the medium provides.

Here’s what Conner has to say about the sweatshirt:  I have lived in this shirt for the past week. I’ve worn it with my Zella pants, jeans, and to with my PJs to bed. Yes, it’s that versatile and that comfortable! Casual and cozy – just my style! The reviews are mixed on the shirt, but I honestly have no idea why (even though more than half of the people gave it 5 stars). After reading the reviews, I decided to size up to an XS and I’m glad I did (I’m usually an XXS). I love the relaxed fit. I have washed it a few times now and I wash on cold, dry in the dryer for a few minutes, then lay it flat to dry.

If you prefer a more fitted and streamlined look, this soft lounge cozy jacket is going to be for you!

And listen, this jacket is DARLING.  It’s very stretchy, has a great stand-up collar, and the gathers are so flattering. It also has thumbholes which I know many of you really like (as do I).  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Here’s what Conner has to say about the leggings: The high waist 7/8 leggings…again. Just add them to your cart already! Seriously. Do it now. And get ALL of the colors. I’m well on my way! Did I mention that both pairs of the leggings have cell phone pockets on the side? Well, they do…and now I’ll never buy leggings without pockets! The color of these leggings go so well with the purple in the sweatshirt, but after looking at the website, I think the purple nebula option would look great, too! I went with my standard size (XXS) and they fit perfectly. Be sure to wash these babies on cold and lay flat to dry!

I’m with you Conner, I’m annoyed now when my leggings don’t have pockets.  And just fyi, although Conner lays her leggings flat to dry, I pop mine in the dryer and dry the entire way.

In fact, if you don’t have any Zella leggings, my two favorite pairs are the soft pocket lounge leggings (that I named a must have) and these 7/8 leggings in black.

This long sleeve tee is still available and well stocked in this grey and black. It’s lightweight, super soft, and a great layering piece. It’s form fitting, so I probably wouldn’t wear it on its own, but it’s great under a sweatshirt or jacket.

This oversized sweatshirt is no longer available in pink, but it is still available in a vibrant blue! Don’t get it if you don’t like boxy and oversized, but you know I dig that look. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And the tee peeking out under is the same fitted long sleeve tee you see in the picture above. It really is the perfect layering piece.

I’m not the only one in the family who loves Zella, I introduced Carter to Zella this year and now he’s a big fan too. He loves his Zella pieces and goes on and on about how comfy and cozy they are. Out of everything, he likes the joggers the most, so I’m grabbing the black for him now that they are on sale!

This fleece hoodie is sooooooooooooooooooooo cozy and warm. It’s going to be great all the time, but it’s going to absolutely PERFECT for ranch trips. The fleece will keep me super warm, the length is great to cover the bum, and I love the thumb holes and the hood for a little extra warmth. For size reference, I’m wearing a small and there’s still lots of room.

This jacket is FABULOUS. It’s the “grey sparrow” version of the red jacket you saw at the beginning of today’s post.

This zip up sweatshirt is a great basic and is a perfect pairing with the must have leggings.

The full zip hoodie sweatshirt is made of a soft cotton blend, and I reach for it ALL THE TIME. It’s warm and incredibly cozy. This is the “grey porpoise”, but it comes in several color choices. I’m wearing a medium and like the fit.
