It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

SOCIAL THREADS SALE
If you’ve been coming around here for a while, you know I used to shop at Social Threads all the time. I haven’t featured anything from there for a bit, but I’m not sure why because I always love the pieces that I get from them.
I hopped on their site last week and immediately threw 2 things into my cart, and I thought you might want to do the same because they are running a promotion right now.
Everything is 20% OFF with the code FF20!
They have tons of cute stuff, but I recently ordered a top and a pair of denim shorts that are both awesome. Now that they are running this sale, I’m also going to grab this striped knit polo. And you can click HERE for all of their awesome Risen jeans!
Now listen, even though I just got this pink blouse last week, it’s already sold out. 🙁 HOWEVER, I’ve been told that there’s going to be a small restock on Monday… so come back here on Monday to see me style it two additional ways and be ready to add to cart and press purchase before they’re gone again.
I do have a piece of good news! Even though the top is sold out, the shorts appear to be well stocked! And as I’m getting older, I appreciate the little bit of extra length in these denim shorts. They aren’t too long at all though, and I would say they are a perfectly respectable medium length. I would also say that they will look a lot better with a tan. 😉 They don’t have a whole lot of stretch in them, so I was glad I grabbed the 28. So many of the shorts on the market today are way too wide in the legs when they fit me in the waist, but I don’t have that problem with these.

OMG. And look at this Risen Denim Jacket. It’s DARLING and so cool and modern! I really love the updated look.

NORDSTROM EARN 10 POINTS PER DOLLAR PROMOTION
If you’re a Nordstrom cardholder, you can earn TEN POINTS on EVERY DOLLAR from now until Sunday! CRAZY!
That means that you will get $10 back in Nordstrom Notes for every $100 you spend, and Nordy Notes are basically CASH MONEY!
You can shop anything…
Fashion, beauty, home, whatever! If there’s something that’s been in your cart for a while, NOW IS THE TIME! There is also tons of NEW ARRIVALS, so take some time to click around and see if anything catches your eye.
I’ve been eyeing this swimsuit, so I went ahead and grabbed it with the promotion going on.

Here are a handful of things that I ordered recently…
This sweater is lightweight, super soft, and DARLING. It’s 100% cotton, beautifully, and the colorful wavy stripes are so fun. It’s great with jeans, but it’s definitely nice enough to wear to the office with a pair of nice pants. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
These multicolor earrings have been a favorite and my most worn pair of earrings for months now! And they are NOW ON SALE for 60% OFF making them ONLY $14! They will be really perfect all spring and summer long.
sweater / multicolor earrings / cross necklace / matte bracelet stack / ankle bootcut jeans / neutral Rothy’s option

And it also looks great with my favorite wide leg cream denim.
We all know wide leg jeans are very on trend, and these cream wide leg jeans are so good. They’re Kut from the Kloth (a denim brand we know and trust), and I really like the stretch and overall fit. They’re definitely wide leg, but they still manage to be flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.
sweater / multicolor necklace / matte bracelet stack / belt / cream wide leg jeans / neutral Rothy’s option

When I saw this gorgeous green ruffle button up, I couldn’t resist. The stand-up collar has tiny little pleated ruffles (you can see them better on the site), and I love that the shirt has a tailored feel. On the site it’s styled with light colored denim and a neutral belt, and I think it looks great. Although I love the green, it comes in several other color and pattern options, so you might want to check them out to find your favorite. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This blouse is a lightweight chambray with a drapey fit. It’s a perfect spring blouse. Look at the adorable little gathered ruffles on the sleeves along with all of the other details! And I like how the neckline will totally highlight a necklace. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This floral dress is NOW ON SALE! It’s pretty, feminine, and one of those dresses that you can just throw on and go. No zipper, no buttons, just slip it over your head and you’re done! I like the split neck, the elastic waist, and the detail on the sleeves. It also comes in a black and navy floral, although not on sale. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
floral dress / gold hoops / bracelet stack / heeled sandals

The sweater is from Avara, but the multicolor necklace, raw hem crop jeans, and raffia buckle sandals are all from Nordstrom… so if you buy them today you can rack up some Nordstrom Notes!
I love these raw hem crop jeans and now own them in two colors. Below I’m wearing the “medium blue”. They’ve got stretch in them, but not too much stretch, so they hold their shape. They’re a good medium weight and are both comfy and flattering.
The raffia buckle sandals are from last year, but I was thrilled to see that they have them again this year. I LOVE THEM. Comfy, true to size, and super cute with jeans, shorts, skirts, and dresses.
This pink sweater is a wonderful closet basic with a little bit of flare. I love this shade of pink, I love the relaxed fit, and I really love the multicolor embroidered accents all over. It’s super soft and between and light and medium weight. I love that it doesn’t hug the body, but it still has the banded sleeves and hem to make it flattering. I showed it with wide leg cream jeans on Wednesday, but here it is with regular denim. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

These denim shorts are from Nordstrom and fabulous. They have a 4 1/2″ inseam, a finished hem, and no distressing. I’m wearing my regular size 4.
If you like an oversized and swingy fit, stop what you’re doing and hit “add to cart” right now. This white and blue floral blouse is absolutely made for you. It’s cut very generously and has tons of room. I would recommend sizing down and feel certain you will still have plenty of room. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Again, the shirt is from Avara, but the jeans and sandals are from Nordstrom.
I showed this top with cream jeans on Wednesday’s post. Adorable is the word I would use to describe this white floral blouse. The print is so eye catching, and the colors are so bright and happy. I do want to mention that after comparing the top I’m wearing to the top featured on the site, it looks like every blouse will be a bit different with a different part of the pattern highlighted. But don’t worry, I think all of them will be cute. The collar is ruffled and banded, and the sleeve have a nice puffiness to them (that isn’t overwhelming). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

AND BECAUSE OF THE NORDSTROM NOTES PROMOTION, I thought it would be a good idea to post some of my more recent finds that have been popular with y’all.
Do you want something unique and fabulous for spring? This beautiful lace blouse is for you!
Wait, even though I’m calling this a lace blouse, here’s what the site has to say: Embroidered floral cutwork adds to the breeziness of a linen-blend top that’s framed with puff sleeves and edged in a sweetly scalloped hem.
So I guess it’s “embroidered floral cutwork” and not lace. Whatever it is, it is absolutely beautiful and I’m in love. The sleeves aren’t lined, but the body is. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size medium. I will say, it doesn’t have much give, so if you are between sizes I would suggest sizing up.
lace blouse / earrings / chunky necklace (option HERE) / bracelet stack / black jeans / similar black booties

Everybody loves a classic spring sweater, and this striped sweater checks all the boxes. A roll neck, a chunky stripe, a great color combo (“blue and red rugby stripe” – but in real life I think it’s a pale blue and coral), and a relaxed fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

A great chambray shirt is always a staple in my closet, no matter what the season. Usually it’s just a standard button up, but this one is feminine and a little bit special. This one has a split neck, a tiny ruffled collar, and a subtle puff shoulder (also with tiny pleats). It drapes nicely and has a bit of a relaxed fit. This is the medium wash, but it also comes in a dark wash. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I love lightweight jackets for spring, and I find myself wearing them all the time. I have several denim jackets and military jackets that are on constant rotation during transitional months especially.
This twill utility jacket caught my eye last week. First of all, I’m completely smitten with the color. It’s a very pretty pale pink. I’m also loving the cut and fit. It’s oversized, the sleeves are a bit blousy with tiny little pleats on the cuffs, and y’all know I’m a huge fan of the exaggerated collar. I would suggest sizing down in this one. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
Now, let’s talk about my necklace for a bit. I’M FREAKING OBSESSED. I’m wearing it in all of today’s outfits, but when I went to grab the link I realized this multicolor option is already sold out. I could bawl for y’all because it’s so good and I want everybody to have it. 🙁 Fingers crossed it comes back in stock (and I’ll be sure to let you know if it does), but it is still available in some solid color options. If you want to go the multicolor route, I did find a similar one on Amazon HERE.

COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD BOGO 50% OFF SALE
There’s a BUY ONE GET ONE 50% OFF SALE going down at Colleen so stock up!
The Vitamin C Brightening Serum is one of the newer additions to my daily routine. I now use it every morning after my morning cleanse, and I put it on before I put on my moisturizer/face oil combo. It feels great going on, and I feel like it gives me a healthy glow. Plus, I know it’s just good for my skin!
It combines two skin-care superstars, 15% stabilized Vitamin C (THD Ascorbate) and the workhorse antioxidant Niacinamide. The synergistic blend helps improve the appearance of dark spots, smooth uneven skin texture, brighten dullness and defend against the impact of environmental aggressors. Over time skin appears radiant luminous, and healthy.
My mom turned me on to the Age Renewal Super Serum probably 3-4 years ago now. She uses tons of CR products, but this one is her tip top favorite. She swears that the deep smile lines she has on each side of her face were greatly reduced as a direct result of adding this product into her routine.
My mom used to not bat an eye at spending serious bucks on skincare. Like, SERIOUS bucks. She felt like her skin was important and it was worth the money to take care of it. However, after my dad retired, she started to become more mindful about the money she was spending and changed up her products. She was disappointed that her skin wasn’t looking as great as it had in the past, so she went back to the expensive lines. But after I introduced her to Colleen’s products, she was able to ditch the super pricey products, and now she only uses Colleen AND IS THRILLED WITH THE RESULTS.
So I use the Vitamin C Serum every morning, and I use the Age Renewal Super Serum every night.
Vitamin C Brightening Serum / Age Renewal Super Serum

And we of course can’t forget MY FAVORITE NEW PRODUCT OF 2025!
YEP. MY FAVORITE PRODUCT OF THE ENTIRE YEAR.
This Ethereal Glow Serum is truly incredible. You pretty much have to try it. You’re going to just have to trust me. It’s “skincare packed radiance”, y’all.

It will give you an instant, soft-focus glow. It’s like a filter in a tube, friends! TRULY!

As you can see, it’s available in two universally flattering shades. Both are designed to complement a wide range of skin topes and styles.
The CHAMPAGNE is the lighter shade and gives a soft and radiant glow.
And below you can see BRONZE – for a warm, sun-kissed effect.
I use the “bronze” shade and mix it with my Lumi Glotion (shade medium) every single day. This combo is what I use now instead of traditional foundation. It goes on BEAUTIFULLY, and my skin looks radiant and healthy, and it’s not heavy at all like I find so many traditional foundations to be. This combo makes my skin look great and gives me so much confidence.

And y’all. DO NOT SLEEP on the hair products. They are phenomenal. I use every single one of them (except the shampoo) and love them so much that I travel with them. My hair just isn’t the same if I don’t use them, and I don’t like the way my hair feels or looks if I have to use something else.
My mom also loves the hair products just as much as the skin products. She credits the hair products for changing her hair too! She says her hair was starting to look dry and old (her words, not mine), but not anymore!!!!
I. LOVE. THIS. CONDITIONER. (Important to note, I know lots of people that do love the shampoo, but I still prefer my Biolage shampoo for some reason.)
This conditioner doesn’t weigh my hair down at all, but it still manages to be incredibly moisturizing. Even if it’s the only Colleen hair product you use, you will still notice that the conditioner alone makes your hair shiny and soft. I swear by it. And I know this shouldn’t really matter, but I happen to love the pale pink packaging. The products look pretty in your shower or on your bathroom counter, and I appreciate that!
Replinish and Shine Daily Conditioner

Next up, the hair mask!
Before they came out with the conditioner, I would use small amounts of this mask as my daily conditioner. In fact, I loved how my hair felt so much after using it that I was pretty sure I wouldn’t love the conditioner as much, and I would just continue to use this mask as my conditioner.
HOWEVER, I fell in love with conditioner too, and now I use the mask more as an intensive hair treatment. My goal is to use it once a week, but the truth is, I just use it when I have some extra time to spend in the shower. Instead of using just a tiny bit like I used to, I now use a good amount, massage it all over my head, and I like to leave it in for a bit to get the full benefit. I like to leave it in for a minimum of 5 minutes, but a couple of times I’ve even been known to get out of the shower and vacuum the house or something with it in before rinsing it out.
And this mask is INCREDIBLE if your hair is really tangled for some reason. If I’ve worn a scarf or been out in wind, I always use this mask.

So many good Friday Faves! The CR sale is A WONDERFUL time to stock up!!
Stephanie Thomas says
I love the CR conditioner also; however, can you please tell me how you get the last inch of product out of the bottom of the container for use??? I have gone through 5 bottles and cannot find the right technique to get the full container used up! The last inch seems to sit down at the bottom and not come up through the pump. Thoughts???
Sheaffer says
Hi, Stephanie! I take the top off, put some water in it, and shake it up. I then just pour it in my hand instead of pumping it out. Works like a charm! Hope this helps! xoxo

Greatly appreciated!
