The button up and shorts are both totally classic and effortlessly chic. And they are both 40% OFF right now!

I grabbed them in a medium, but I’m exchanging them for a small. They were just a little too roomy for my liking, and I think the smalls are still going to be a relaxed fit (which I want).

They are lightweight and totally on trend. I usually don’t go for wide slides like this, but I wanted to branch out and am so glad I did. They have a cool and modern vibe, and I like to try to be cool and modern every now and then. 😉 They also come in cognac which is what I would normally go for, but I had this set and this bag in mind when I ordered them, so I went with the black.
And here’s the same set, just dressed up a bit with wedges and a nice bag. Note to self, next time I show this set, have a fresh self-tan. 😉

The top is super cute with denim shorts too. And just imagine how chic it would look with white jeans!
THESE DENIM SHORTS ARE SO GOOD. They have a 6″ inseam, so they provide a good amount of length, but I don’t feel matronly in them at all! I just feel covered, but cute. Basically, I still feel like a cool and hip mom, while managing to stay totally age appropriate. They are slim cut which makes them flattering, but I love the roominess of the leg opening. I’m wearing my regular size 4. Also, they’re pretty affordable at $79!!!

I am going to highlight this swimsuit again because it is NOW ON SALE (and I’m afraid it might sell out). I got it earlier this week, and it just might be the most flattering suit I’ve ever owned. It’s so well constructed that I don’t find myself having to pull it up, I love the halter styling, and the ruching gives me more of a waist than I actually have.

Have y’all ever ordered from Warby Parker before? I’d heard of the brand of course, but I’d never even been on the site. Well, I got on last week and ordered this pair for myself in tortoise. They’re supposed to come this weekend, so I’ll show them on me next week. I’m so excited!
Now that I’m in my readers era, I had so much fun exploring their site and “trying on” the glasses I was considering. And I’ve gotta say, I felt a bit like an old lady. Not only was I shopping for readers, but I was so impressed with the “try on” technology. I called Carter over to the computer and was like “LOOK AT THIS! HOW COOL IS THIS!”. And he was all, “Yeah, it’s like a snapchat filter.” That’s neither here nor there, because this old lady was IMPRESSED and really did have a blast. 🙂 There were several glasses that I was drawn to and thought I liked, but once I “tried them on” I decided against them. It really was so helpful to “see” them on me.
The pair below is not the pair I got, but they were 1st runner up. I liked them a lot, but ultimately they were quite a bit more expensive, which is why I ended up going with the Ruthie.

These wide leg cream jeans are 30% OFF right now! They are adorable and so on trend. In fact, they are probably in my Top 5 most worn items this year. They’re called “cream”, but they don’t lean yellow like many creams do, so I think of them more like an ecru. They’re just a perfect neutral. They’ve got a great amount of stretch, but they still manage to maintain their shape. And although they are definitely a wide leg, I think they are still quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

These light wash kick flare jeans are included in the sale too and are 30% OFF! They have 150 reviews and most of them are 5 stars, so I’m not the only one that loves them. They are lightweight, stretchy, and flattering! I think you’ll find yourself reaching for them all year long. True to size, I’m wearing a 27.
The sweater isn’t AVARA, but it’s on sale for 59% OFF with over 3,000 great reviews (+ you can get an extra 20% OFF if your purchase is $125+)! It’s a perfect staple for everybody to have at least 1 in their closet. It’s great for spring, but since it’s super lightweight, you’ll also find it’s good all the way thru summer. I would say to consider sizing down if between sizes.

This striped flutter sleeve top is absolutely DARLING and 30% OFF. The bold stripes on the body, the banded hem, and the pin striped flutter sleeves are all fabulous. This top really makes a statement, but it does so without being totally over the top. It’s a super soft tee, but the sleeves totally elevate it. They are so special!
I would suggest sizing down in this top because it’s very roomy. I’m in a medium and there’s a lot of extra fabric (even though you can’t really tell in this picture). The arm holes are also too big, which is another reason I think a small would be better on me.

This orange floral dress is one that is so easy to just slip on and go, and it’s 50% OFF. It’s longer than I prefer (which is good news for you taller gals), but I still like it. They are VERY comfortable and go with so many things. True to size for me, but apparently you should size up if between sizes.
The ric rac trim and the mix of floral and striped patterns make this top so so charming and right now it’s 30% OFF. I like it with a 1/2 tuck, but you can see on the left that the wide banded hem make it great worn out too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I definitely need a small. It doesn’t look like it in these pictures, but it’s quite roomy all over. I would definitely suggest sizing down 1 size.

This embroidered top is 30% OFF, but stock is extremely limited. It combines Kelly green with pink, and I was immediately drawn to it. Just like the site says, it’s fresh and feminine! The sleeves have a little bit of volume, and I like that they go down almost to the elbow. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I need a medium. The small is too tight across the chest.
