Last Wednesday’s post was just a lot of outfit planning from me with several flat lays. Well, today I’m going to show you some of those exact same outfits actually on me. I thought they looked so dang cute laying on the table that I decided to throw them all on and see if they were going to live up to all the hype (in my head).
Well, good news girls..they totally did.
Now, before we get to the outfits, I want to talk a bit about the Barrington bags you will be seeing in this post. If you’ve never played around on their site, then you’re missing out. But be warned, you can fall down a DARLING RABBIT HOLE very easily. I think it took me a solid 2 hours to settle on the bags I got this time. But I enjoyed every dang minute of it.

I’ve received some questions about the quality of the bags, so I thought I would address those now. Barrington quality is EXCELLENT. Several of you have expressed concern about the fact that the straps are thin, but I can assure you that they hold up very well and can carry lots of weight. I stuff A TON of items in both my St. Anne and my Savannah bags. We’re talking wallet, make up bag, water bottle, a sunglasses case, and then a variety of other things which can include: a denim jacket or cardi, my calendar, and often times my lap top (in a laptop case). I’m telling you, the straps hold up beautifully.
This pineapple tote I’m showing is the St. Anne, even though it comes in the Savannah too. My sister and I typically prefer the Savannah because of it’s size and zipper….but for the summer collections, the St. Anne was the only tote that had the choice of blond leather (instead of the standard cognac). And Conner and I thought the pineapple was screaming for the blonde leather. So we listened to the pineapple, and I’m so glad we did! #thepineappletoldusto
If you do a lot of traveling, you might prefer the St. Anne since it’s bigger. And FYI, there’s a St. Anne diaper bag as well!!!!

Remember Outfit #2? A simple tee and cut offs jazzed up a quite a bit with accessories!
The Madewell tee I’m wearing is my favorite tee (I seriously think I have 6 because it comes in tons of colors). The colored tees are fine to wear on their own, but the white one will require a cami ( you can find my favorite $12 cami HERE). I sized up to a medium in the tee. If you prefer a fitted look, go with your normal size. If you want the fit to be a bit more slouchy (but not messy), size up! I’m wearing my regular size 27 in the shorts.
Again, for an everyday bag, I personally prefer the Savannah tote to the St. Anne. It’s a little bit smaller and it has a zipper, and I appreciate a zipper. It has great interior pockets too: one zippered pocket, a cell phone pocket, a larger pocket next to the cell phone pocket, and a pocket on each end which makes for lots of great storage. And although not as big as the St. Anne tote, it can still accommodate a laptop among all of the other regular stuff you typically carry.

Let’s take a close look at the sunglasses case. Because it’s awesome. This would make a fantastic Mother’s Day gift and/or a perfect graduation gift! Look #3 starts with one of my favorite combos: white denim, chambray, and cognac. And then I added pops of colors with the accessories again. This outfit would look MUCH different with a cognac bag. It would still be cute…but with the turquoise and palm print, I think it’s a WOW!

That’s it for the outfits from last Wednesday’s post, but I have some more. If you follow me on social media, then you might have seen some of these next outfits over the weekend. The agate necklaces I talked about last week are sold out in every color, except the brown. And I’m TOTALLY surprised that the brown is left, because it’s an awesome neutral that will look great with so many different outfits. Look how pretty it is styled with my favorite tee (the white one needs a cami) and these dark distressed denim shorts.
When I was doing my Denim Shorts Review, I wasn’t planning on keep this dark pair (since I got the $39 pair), even though I liked them. They were actually in the “take back” pile, but when I styled the outfit below on Friday morning, the $39 shorts didn’t add enough color contrast to the outfit…but these did. So I took the tags off of them. 🙂
And I loved how the brown agate topped off this all neutral outfit.

But for those of you that prefer bold and vibrant colors, I took the same white tee and denim shorts outfit, and then switched up the look with just the accessories. I have had the St. Anne diaper bag now for 15 months and it is legit. We live on a cattle ranch and it’s seen it’s fair number of days hooked onto my Joovy jogging stroller as we work cattle and it still looks brand new. It holds A TON and while I worried that it didn’t have a zipper, it actually doesn’t spill much when tipped over and it’s really easy to get things out of one handed….Which has turned out to be an important feature. After 2 years of mooning over it I finally took the plunge and bought the brown leather Savannah bag from Barrington. i absolutely LOVE it!!!!! I, too, wanted the zippered top so that everything wouldn’t dump out when my bag tips over – like maybe in the car ever once in awhile. 🙂 I was a little concerned about the straps holding up because I tend to really pack it full but so far so good! I have watched your posts on the Barrington products for a few years. And I have explored their website several times. I love the concept of paying fair wages to women when they work! But my favorite part about the bag is how well the straps stay on your shoulder and the bag is so light! I have the St Anne (merry Christmas to me two years ago after discovering Barrington on your blog), and I LOVE IT! I use it for my work bag – it fits a ton, the straps have held up amazingly, and the distressing / color just keeps getting more beautiful with time and wear. Love it!

I got a Barrington tote for Christmas and I love it! I chose the Axis deer print with brown leather. I load it down with stuff for work and it hasn’t shown any wear at all! I love the material on the outside of the purse. I believe it’s water resistant? Anyways I want a sunglass case to go with it and I love the new palm print and pineapple print! Adorable!!

I have the St Anne diaper bag and love it! It’s big enough to hold stuff for my infant and preschooler. It can get heavy when I load it up, but the straps are sooooooo strong that I only worry about my shoulder breaking not the bag! (I tend to overpack so the weight is because of the kitchen sink you’ll find inside not the bag!)

I am OBSESSED with the Pineapple Tote…I think it will be my gift to my bridesmaids this summer. I love the Barrington Stadium Crossbody…I’d put off ordering it until just a few weeks ago because it’s so tiny, but when the SEC implemented the tiny or clear rule, I knew it was time to pull the trigger (so, you know, the Stadium knew I wasn’t carrying something with a trigger). Barrington will be helping me call my Hogs this fall!

I ordered the St. Ann tote in cognac leather back in 2015 which I think was when you first introduced Barrington bags on your blog. It is AH-MAZING!! I can put a million things in that bag, and it just keeps on going. A Barrington bag is absolutely worth the price. I have not had one problem with loading it up and thinking the handles would not hold. It feels sturdy in my hand, and I don’t worry one bit about the handles not being strong enough to support the contents of the bag. Even today, there is not one bit of wear or tear at the handles….I will have that bag forever and a day!! So glad you introduced me to that company. And you are right, the bag just keeps looking better and better the longer you have it. Truly amazing. I highly recommend this company and its products. It is quality-plus!!

It holds everything I need for a day at the office or a work trip but is also an awesome mom bag for my days running around with the littles. I love it because it holds a lot but doesn’t look huge!

I have had the Axis, deer print, Savanah tote for over a year and love it! It is like the Goldilocks of bags- not too big, not too small, and seems to hold everything with all the pockets. I love the side pockets for sunglasses and the outside zipper for keys. And best of all, people ask me all the time about it and mention how much they love it! I originally bought it as I was moving on from the baby/toddler stage and it truely goes from the park, to PTA mtgs, to the airplane, and to girls nights.
