Friday Favorites – LOTS OF AMAZING SALE FINDS!

It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!

Let’s kick things off with this blush poncho, because it’s definitely one of my favorite new purchases.  It is incredibly soft and light, and the blush color is soooo pretty…although it also comes in black and grey if blush isn’t your thing.  I sized up to a medium because I wanted it really roomy and blousy, but I actually think my regular small would have been just fine and plenty roomy.

Today I’m sharing two different looks with this poncho with the same pair of boot cut jeans and booties, I just switched up the bag and the accessories to show you a more casual and a more dressy look.

Here’s the casual look.

I’m wearing my ivory Sims stone necklace (my friends at A.C. are being super awesome, and the code STONESTEAL is still active to get the necklace for $20!).

And by only switching out the jewelry and the bag, I dressed it up!

Now let’s talk about the itty bitty boot cut jeans.  BECAUSE THEY ARE AWESOME, AND THEY ARE ON SALE (in the regular sizes)!  At 5’4″, I wear the regular 4s…but size down if between sizes. They are incredibly stretchy, comfy, and TOTALLY SLIMMING!

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, these jeans make you look taller and skinnier than you already are.

And this clutch?  It’s ONLY $45!

The mixed metal necklace goes with everything.

And these mixed metal feather hoops (type in “Pegasus earrings ” and make sure you are shopping the Sheaffer Sims trunk show) are edgy and fabulous.

Instead of just changing up accessories, I could reallllllllly dress up the poncho with black coated skinny jeans from our beloved Articles of Society and some heels!  I’m also looking forward to dressing the poncho way down with some skinny grey ankle jeans (ON SALE!), stud earrings, and converse!  The possibilities are endless with this poncho!

Another awesome sale item is this hot pink top.  It’s ONLY $33 right now!  On the site, they call it a sweatshirt, but I think it feels much more like a thin sweater.  It comes in 5 colors, and I was drawn to this electric pink (but they call it purple).  I’m wearing my regular small, and it’s plenty long and roomy to wear with these FABULOUS leather leggings.  I cannot wait to style these leggings a million different ways!

The top will also look great worn more casually with jeans.

J  CREW SALE – 40% OFF EVERYTHING!

J Crew doesn’t do a 40% SITE WIDE SALE very often, so get it while the gettin’ is good!

Do y’all remember my black gingham top?  I stopped showing it (even though I wear it ALL the time), because it had been sold out in most sizes.  WELL.  It’s back.  And it seems to be fully stocked in all the colors.  Think light pink, green, orange, a brighter pink, and yellow!  AND THEY ARE ALL ON SALE!!!!!

I sized up to an 8 in the button up (I often do this in button ups to prevent pulling), and I love the fit.

I love wearing it tied up too.  And heading into fall, it will also be so cute layered under a sweater or a military jacket!

LOFT SALE – 40% OFF EVERYTHING!

I loved this pattern so much that I tried on 2 separate blouses.  I think this first one looks better than the 2nd one when layered under a cardi because of the more interesting neckline.

I’m wearing the shorts I walked into the store wearing, but in addition to denim, I’m thinking this combo would look great with khaki or grey slacks, and I think I’ll personally be wearing this top with grey skinny jeans.

The boyfriend cardigans are amazing.  I’m wearing a small and it comes in 5 colors.

I love the sleeves of this top, but as I mentioned before, I don’t think it looks as good under a cardi as the one above.  If planning on wearing it alone, the sleeves give great coverage and make interesting.

Y’all know I’ve been wearing the heck out of a different black and white striped sweater (that’s now sold out), so I didn’t come home with this one, but I definitely thought it was worth sharing again now that it’s 40% OFF! I’m wearing a small.

This might very well be the most comfy dress I’ve ever had on my body.  And now it’s 40% OFF. I’m wearing an x-small, so I would suggest sizing down.  Cute worn alone with the swingy (and not clingy) fit, but it will of course be super cute with a denim or a military jacket thrown over it!  And it has pockets!

I love it when LOFT does casual cardigans.  Below I’m showing how to wear this striped one with both shorts and some Lou and Grey joggers.  AND Y’ALL.  THE JOGGERS?  They are AWESOME.  Super soft and lightweight.  I’m wearing a small in the tee, the cardi, and the joggers.  I’m wearing a 27 in the shorts, which is true to size for me.  The tee, the cardi, and the joggers are all 40% OFF!

I saw these camo pants on a friend, and I couldn’t believe she got them at Express.  I haven’t shopped at Express in probably 10 years, but these pants made me want to check them out!
