SOCIAL THREADS NEW ARRIVALS
I’ve teamed up with Social Threads to talk about their new launch BECAUSE I LOVE THEIR STUFF. They are constantly getting new pieces, and so many of them just feel like me. Basically, every single time I get on the site I feel pretty confident that I’m going to see something I want to add to my own closet.
The last time I hopped on the site, I happened to see several pieces that felt like me. Starting with this dress…
THIS DRESS IS DARLING.
It’s a brown and white gingham with a smocked top and a tiered bottom. AND THE SLEEVES (which you can see in the next picture) are absolutely adorable.

See what I mean about the sleeves? Or maybe I should say straps?
They are wide with a double ruffle, and I love them. Also notice the teeny tiny pleated ruffle across top of the smocked bodice. This dress feels like pajamas, but it’s so stinkin’ cute I can hardly stand it.
I would suggest sizing down. I most often wear a medium in dresses, but I knew this one would be forgiving, so I ordered a small and I’m glad I did.

This garden shirt mini dress is a totally different look. It feels very Tommy Bahama, don’t ya think? It’s a 100% crisp cotton, and I love the shift fit. It does run on the short side, but I happen to love that. 😉 I would totally wear it to church with wedges, but it’s very tropical and would also look great on vacation with flat sandals and a raffia bag. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This chambray dress is darling. I love it with these neutral wedges, but just imagine it with cowboy boots for a concert!
It has lots of great details including the 3/4 sleeves with the tiny ruffle, along with the lattice pattern across the sleeves and chest with another tiny ruffle down the button front neckline. I also love the soft gathers/pleats across the front as well as the back. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

So y’all know this Kelly green is one of my very favorite colors. It’s so bright and happy!
This blouse screams both spring and summer. It’s a lightweight gauzy fabric with an easy breezy fit. It comes in a classic neutral as well, but my goodness I love the green. I’m wearing a medium, but I would definitely prefer the fit of a small. It’s very wide and very roomy, so I know a small will still be perfectly oversized.

I showed you this Peter Pan collar blouse in black a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it so much that I grabbed it in white too. It was one of my Top 3 personal finds last month, so I just knew I had to get it in white. It’s a super cute fit, and I know I will reach for it all the time. You couldn’t really see all of the pretty details on the black top, but you can see them all on this classic white! It’s tailored, but totally feminine and girly. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
These denim shorts are soooooooo good. I’m telling you, they are THE denim shorts many of you have been looking for. I’m guessing they will probably be sold out by the time summer rolls around, so you need to grab them now. They have a 6″ inseam, so they provide a good amount of length, but I don’t feel matronly in them at all! I feel covered, but cute. Basically I still feel like a cool and hip mom, while still managing to stay totally age appropriate. They are a slim cut (which makes them flattering), but I love the roominess of the leg opening. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

This top looks great with the olive wide leg jeans too. They are incredibly comfy and have quite a bit of stretch. They’re called “wide leg”, but I think they are more of a straight leg, which I actually think makes them more flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. I’ll style these pants with solid white, solid black, light pink, and stripes… and that’s just off the top of my head.

The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream is a tried and true favorite and a TOTAL MUST HAVE. It’s a ride or die for me. I added this moisturizer into my routine after reading about it on several blogs and in several “BEST OF” beauty articles about 5-6 years ago now. Lots of users compared it to the much more expensive La Mer line, but most of them said they preferred this product! That was it, I was convinced I needed to try it. A little goes a long way with this cream, and it’s not greasy, but it is incredibly hydrating. There is a very light rose scent to this cream, and I don’t normally care for rose, but it doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, I enjoy it!
I’m now devoted to it. It has a cult following and a large group of women that absolutely swear by it. I’m now a part of that group. I’ve never been one that spends a lot of time on eye make-up, but that’s because self-admittedly I’ve never been good at it. All of the layers… all of the blending… I’ve never really understood it all.

GLASS CONTAINERS AND WAYFAIR SALE
It’s spring, y’all! And for me that means it’s time to do a little spring cleaning and get some of the spaces in my home in shape. Every year I focus on a couple of areas and buy several items that help me get AND STAY organized. A couple of years ago I revamped the pantry and it made such a difference in my everyday life. And guess what! It’s still organized! Last year I revamped the laundry room, and it still looks great too! This year I’m teaming up with Wayfair and just making little changes here and there.
This year I’m just doing what I can to make some small spaces more functional.
A couple of weekends ago I decided to revamp my Tupperware cabinet. I wanted to do this for several reasons. First of all, I’m done with storing our food in plastic containers. DONE. Cleansing Balm totally changes the taking off your makeup game, and I’m telling you, you won’t even dread washing your face at night. It truly has a cult following. For those of you that haven’t tried it yet, it’s different than any other cleanser I’ve ever used.
HOW TO USE: First of all, I apply it to a dry face. I scoop out a small amount of the balm with dry hands and slather it on to my dry face. As I rub it on my face, the heat from my hands changes the balm into more of an oily texture and it just feels incredibly luxurious. It melts my makeup away, leaves my skin feeling amazing and hydrated, and the light citrus smell is PERFECT. And it’s so gentle that you can even open your eyes as you are using it! A muslin cleansing cloth comes with it that is made with 100% cotton that gently exfoliates while you’re cleansing. It’s incredible. I just pop my cloth in the wash every several days. And listen, if you’re concerned about the price, don’t be. This jumbo tub lasts me around 9 months!
After cleansing my face, I use the peel pads. I’ve been using the Glycolic Acid Peel Pads for probably 4-5 years now, and I absolutely swear by them. After adding them to my weekly routine years ago, I’ve never looked back. These pads contain glycolic and lactic acid, both used for cell turnover. AND AT MY AGE, I NEED ALL THE HELP WITH CELL TURNOVER THAT I CAN GET. These pads boast a spa-strength treatment formula that helps to dissolve skin-clogging dirt and debris. The pads target fine lines, hyperpigmentation and imperfections. My skin needs help in all of these areas, and using these pads reveals a fresher, brighter, more even complexion.
The pads are large, so I sweep the pad all over my face, neck, and chest after cleansing. Paying attention to your neck and chest is so important!
I used to use a pad every 3-4 days, but then I went to every 2 days, and now I use them every single night. I notice such a difference that I just want to always be using them. There are 60 pads per order, so the jar lasts me 2 months (using one every day).

The Face Oil #9 is a product that I absolutely cannot live without. Like I would absolutely freak out if they ever discontinued it. If you’ve never tried it, you really need to! I’ve given it as a gift several times, and everybody that I’ve ever given it to is now a devoted user.
When I first started using it years and years ago I only used it at night, but now I use it in the morning too. I just mix it with my moisturizer and my skin absolutely drinks it up. YOU WILL LOVE IT. It is a must have product for me for sure.
Colleen touts it as the ultimate in skin luxury, and I have to agree. It improves radiance. RADIANCE!
And maybe you want to restock a favorite or try the best eye cream of all time for the very first time. This eye cream is a true viral sensation. It was my personal #1 find when I first used it a couple of years ago, and it was actually in my Top 5 finds for the entire year! It’s been in y’alls Top 5 mannnnnnnnnny months as well for several years. YES, IT’S REALLY THAT GOOD.
It makes my under-eye area appear brighter and more youthful. TRULY! The formula specifically targets common issues that many of us deal with like tired and dull eyes, under-eye darkness, fine lines, dryness, and puffiness.
It’s really hard to capture how awesome the eye cream is in a picture, so you’re going to need to trust me. You can use it on its own on a fresh-faced day, but it also functions beautifully under makeup. I’m telling you, this eye cream is going to WOW you.
And just FYI: I don’t like concealer and never use it, but I think this eye cream not only does the job of an eye cream, but it also functions a bit like a concealer does. Here’s the difference though: it doesn’t settle into lines or crepiness (which is why I don’t like or wear concealer).

The Vitamin C Brightening Serum is one of the newer additions to my daily routine. I now use it every morning after my morning cleanse, and I put it on before I put on my moisturizer/face oil combo. It feels great going on, and I feel like it gives me a healthy glow. Plus, I know it’s just good for my skin!
My mom turned me on to the Age Renewal Super Serum probably 3-4 years ago now. She uses tons of CR products, but this one is her tip top favorite. She swears that the deep smile lines she has on each side of her face were greatly reduced as a direct result of adding this product into her routine.
