A FAVORITE BOUTIQUE…

I teamed up with Social Threads today to share pieces from their SPRING LAUNCH!

I know featuring really special pieces is fun, but I LOVE THE BASICS. The pieces that I wear over and over again get me really excited.

This layered crew pullover is one of those basics for me. It’s incredibly comfy and soft. I’m wearing the “light moss” here, but it also comes in clay (a really pretty neutral), butter yellow, and navy. The sweatshirt is super soft and the little crewneck that is peeking out from the neck and the hem really elevate this sweatshirt and will instantly help you look pulled together. I’m in a medium, and it’s a perfectly relaxed fit and roomy fit. A small would definitely fit, but I like the oversized look of the medium. If you don’t want it quite so oversized, size down. It has 31 reviews, and almost every single one of them is 5 STARS.

And how cute are my sneakers?!? We will talk about them in just a sec.

So I couldn’t resist these springy jeans. They are a subtle barrel fit, and I love them. In fact, these are the only pair of barrel jeans I’ve ever tried that I actually like and don’t feel ridiculous in. 😉 The “poppy” color is so fun, and these jeans are going to be such a nice addition to my closet. They are stretchy, true to size (I’m wearing a 27), and totally on trend.

You might not have known that you needed a pair of poppy colored jeans in your closet, but that’s what I’m here for. #becauseyoudoinfactneedthem 🙂

And you can go ahead and freak out about these sneakers because they are seriously adorable. I love the color combo, and they are very comfy. I’m wearing my regular size here, but I wish I would have sized down a 1/2. (Important info: the first 10 or so minutes I wore them on my wood floors, they squeaked when I walked…. but then they stopped and don’t squeak at all anymore! Whew!)

I wanted to show you a couple of more ways to style the poppy jeans, because whenever I highlight a pair of colored pants I always get questions about styling ideas.

Now, I’m sure that I have some patterned shirts in my closet already that will work great with them, but just plain old solid black looks good too. This Peter Pan collar blouse surprised me in all the best ways. I just think it’s a super cute fit, and I know I will reach for it all the time. It’s hard to tell in my pictures, so I think you should click over to the site to see the really pretty scalloped detailing and pleated ruffles. It’s tailored, but totally feminine and girly. LOVE. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It also comes in a really pretty pale pink.

Toms reached out and asked me if I would like to pick a pair of sandals from their lookbook, I landed on these buckle wedge sandals, and I’m so glad I did! They are insanely comfortable, very easy to walk in, and I love the height they give me! I’m wearing my regular 6 1/2, but I’m actually thinking that sizing up a 1/2 size might be a good idea.

If you’ve been following along for a while, then you know that this type of top is a long-time favorite of mine. So no surprise here, I’M FULL BLOWN OBSESSED with this olive tassel tie top. I showed this top last week with olive jeans, but it’s also cute with denim shorts!

It has a swingy fit that looks great with both a 1/2 tuck and worn out. It has subtle puff sleeves with an elastic band that reach almost to the elbow, and the colors and pattern on this one are totally unique with the navy, olive, cream, and rust color palette. Because of the seam near the chest, I need a medium for some extra room, but otherwise I think I would prefer the fit of the small.

I’ve been having so much fun styling and wearing my cream wide leg jeans that I knew I had to grab these olive wide leg jeans the second I saw them. These are incredibly comfy and have quite a bit more stretch than the cream ones, and the wide leg isn’t quite as wide. I actually like the fit of these better. And my goodness they are the perfect match for this top. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. I’ll style these pants with solid white, solid black, light pink, and stripes… and that’s just off the top of my head.

And with the denim shorts…

As I’m getting older, I appreciate the little bit of extra length in these denim shorts. They aren’t too long at all though, and I would say they are a perfectly respectable medium length. I would also say that they will look a lot better with a tan. 😉 They don’t have a whole lot of stretch in them, so I was glad I grabbed the 28. So many of the shorts on the market today are way too wide in the legs when they fit me in the waist, but I don’t have that problem with these.

And I’m sorry, but how flipping cute is this stripe fleece sweatshirt. And I just got the sweatshirt, but there are matching joggers too ladies. I feel like I might need them as well, right? I mean, who am I to deny a set this cute.

The sweatshirt is lined with a light fleece, it’s super soft, and the colors are so vibrant! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And the top I first showed a couple of weeks ago from the same boutique…

I basically had this same top in green last year, and it was probably my most worn top of the entire summer. I loved it and still do. It looks great with denim shorts, with white shorts, with regular denim, with cream denim, and with white jeans. It’s easy, it’s breezy, and it’s DARLING. I love the split neck, I love the longer sleeve length and that it doesn’t show my upper arms, and I love the relaxed shape and fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I need a medium for my chest and rib cage (can you see the seam that goes across the chest?), but otherwise a small would be fine. Keep that in mind when choosing your size.

The Supergoop Glow Screen (seen on the left) has a beautiful tint to it with a glowy finish, but it’s not too glowy or sparkly. It’s described on the site as a lightweight, pearlescent sunscreen with SPF 40 that hydrates the skin.

I do not enjoy a sparkly face, so I was very happy to find that it just gives a healthy-looking sheen and highlight, without all the glitter. It has SPF 40 in it so it protects your skin beautifully from the sun’s harmful rays AND it gives really pretty coverage. It doesn’t leave you greasy or oily, you just get protection with a pretty finish. Another bonus is that it has hyaluronic acid!

Now let’s talk about the Unseen Sunscreen. This product is a MUST HAVE for me. I use it like a makeup primer. This stuff is incredible. It is velvety in texture, and it totally just glides on your skin. My skin absorbs it very quickly (like IMMEDIATELY) and there is NO TRACE of it. It’s not oily or greasy, it gives a matte finish, and it doesn’t leave any white residue behind either. And if I need more coverage throughout the day, it’s also awesome when applied over makeup.

Glow Screen / Unseen Sunscreen

My toiletry bag is one of my very favorite items from Amazon EVER. It holds SO MUCH STUFF, and I love how you can hang it up and everything is so easily accessible. It has over 50,000 5 Star Ratings and almost every one of them is 5 STARS! It could be at your house as early as this afternoon.

And this is what it looks like all folded up and zipped up. I have the large size and highly recommend it.

I have lots of hair tools that I use and love (my Dyson hairdryer, Revlon dryer brush, curling iron, and rollers are all awesome). But if I had to choose only 1 of them to keep, I would definitely choose my Conair rollers. I get questions about my hair pretty frequently, and these rollers are definitely what give my hair the “bounce” that lots of y’all often ask me about.

I put 1 on the crown of my head, 1 on each side, and 2 in the back. PRO TIP: I don’t use the roller clips that come with it because they crease my hair.

Moving on from beauty…

I can’t talk about the Our Place Always Pan enough and it’s on SUPER SALE right now at Amazon. I’ve been screaming and shouting about it for like 7 or so years now, and I love it even more now than I did the first day I talked about it. It’s without a doubt the most used piece of equipment in my kitchen. NOTHING STICKS and it cleans up like an absolute dream!!!

The Our Place Perfect Pot is my 2nd most used piece of kitchen equipment. I both boil and steam in it, and I love the size.

I’m dang near obsessed with this set. It’s 40% OFF! And it’s pretty much perfection.

I’m obviously wearing the black here (and love it), but I’ve actually sent this one back and exchanged it for the apricot. Wearing black with a Golden Retriever at home just isn’t the best idea. 😉 I also love the grey, the brown, and the khaki.

It’s a modal jersey, it’s crazy soft, and it’s very stretchy. YOU WILL LOVE IT. The material is great quality, and the set is well made. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

What can I say, I love a good set. And this is a reallllllllllly good set.

I’m wearing the light khaki in a medium (I think I would actually prefer the fit of a small), but it’s still sooooooooooo good. I totally compare it to the look and quality of Spanx, but for a much smaller price. I’m wearing it here with slippers, but I’ll definitely throw on UGGs or sneakers with it and run around town.
