MY NEW SLIM PUFFER

I met my dad for lunch on Monday (we do this about every couple of months), and this puffer caught my eye when walking through Nordstrom. (We always meet at Nordstrom Bazille because we both LOVE the food.)

I loved that it wasn’t a super puffy puffer, and the colors totally caught my eye. This one is the “rosewood/sea green”, but there’s also a “storm blue/sea blue” with a mustard stripe that is a total vibe! I love both. It has excellent reviews. For size reference, I’m wearing the small (but as you’ll see later in the post, I think I need the medium).

I grabbed a selfie with my dad after we ate. Isn’t he the cutest? He’s the sweetest too.

BACK IN STOCK!

This pink and orange sweater was completely sold out and no longer available, BUT IT IS BACK! And it is still absolutely ADORABLE.

I love it for so many reasons, but first and foremost it is incredibly flattering!!! The V with the color blocking will make your waist appear smaller than it is. And do you see how the color blocking appears on the arm as well? It really slims down the arms too! It’s like a magical sweater. And the colors are happy, vibrant, and just plain fun. It’s super soft, and I know it’s going to become a fast favorite for me. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

FABULOUS SWEATERS

Okay, ladies! A couple of weeks ago I showed this sweater in just a screenshot from the site, and y’all went crazy over it (as did I). Well, mine arrived, and it’s even better than I imagined! It’s warm, cozy, soooooo soft, and absolutely darling. I’m in love with the fair isle print and the bright and happy colors! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It is very stretchy, so size down if between sizes.

This cable stitch sweater is just as soft, but it’s a solid color in a classic cable knit. I think this soft lilac color is lovely, but it comes in 8 total colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

LOOKING BACK

Timehop got me good this week. Here’s a 5 week old Carter with a 4 year old Scout. Scout was just the sweetest with him and Carter loved him from the start.

And here’s his first Halloween. Gosh I miss this little pumpkin.

And then 3 year old Carter. I can’t. This was probably my favorite costume ever.

SOME GREAT NORDSTROM FINDS

I put this jacket in an outfit planning collage a couple of weeks ago, but several of y’all reached out and said you were going to wait for my review before deciding to get it or not. Well, here’s my verdict: GET IT. This blush corduroy jacket is FABULOUS. I think the color is gorgeous, and the fit is darling. It’s got some good stretch in it, and the tiny little puff shoulders are a great touch. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It also comes in camel and olive.

I have this exact sweater in SEVERAL colors and love it. I quickly grabbed this new color when I saw them go on sale.

I’m wearing the “toasted brown” and think it’s such a warm and wonderful fall color. It would be great on Thanksgiving Day. It’s a relaxed fit, so there’s plenty of room for mashed potatoes and pie.

Camel on the front, black on the back. It’s classic with a twist! Head to the site to get a look at the side slits on the hem and at the back. This sweater can be worn in or out, so it’s a good choice for y’all that don’t love a half tuck. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. It’s a very relaxed fit, and it definitely runs big.

ATHLEISURE REVIEW

Did you see my athleisure post on Monday? I wanted to review my favorite pieces with you today!

This sweatshirt is totally basic, BUT TOTALLY AWESOME. I’m wearing a medium and feel like it’s the perfect oversized fit on me. It’s got a bit of a high low hem, which means it’s plenty long for leggings. I did cuff the sleeves one time, so the sleeves are plenty long as well. It’s lightweight and perfect for now all the way into spring. Since it’s not thick or bulky, it will fit easily under a jacket as well when the weather calls for it.

I named these 7/8 leggings a MUST HAVE several years ago, and they remain a must have in my closet and my heart. 😉 They are the perfect ankle length on me. I’m 5’4″ with long legs (and no torso) for my height, but I know the leggings stretch and they work lengthwise on taller people as well.  They have a high waist with the perfect amount of compression. They suck you in, while still allowing you to breathe, and they don’t roll down on you! You definitely need the black, but after you fall in love with them, I feel certain you will grab one of the fun colors as well. For size reference, I wear a small in the leggings.

The sling bag is super cute, super functional, and only $45.

This fleece is warm, cozy, and oversized. In fact, I’m wearing a medium here with nothing under it, and it’s very roomy. I’m going to try a small, but I’m going to hang on to the medium for a bit because I want to make sure that the small isn’t too short.

I’m wearing the same must have leggings, but I’ve styled them with my new favorite half zip hoodie.

This hoodie is FANTASTIC. I love the fit, I love the collar, and I love the color. It’s incredibly cozy and super comfy. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This look is similar to the pic above, but it’s a henley sweatshirt with my must have joggers. I’m telling you, you cannot get comfier than this outfit. It just can’t be done. I’m wearing a medium in the sweatshirt and a small in the joggers.
