HAPPY MONDAY, LADIES!
Get excited, because today’s post is about athleisure.
Yes, I know I’ve posted about athleisure a countless number of times over the years, but each year I like to highlight new pieces that I’ve found that I love!
Today I’ve got an awesome sweatshirt (in 2 colors), a pair of must have leggings (in 2 colors), some basic jewelry, a couple of bags, and a pair of sneakers. I actually have more to share with y’all than I just listed, but it POURED all weekend in my neck of the woods, and I didn’t have a chance to get the other shots. I’ll be sharing some Vuori pieces later this week (this sweatshirt is a new favorite for sure), but today you are getting my favorite Zella pieces.
I know many of y’all are probably already freaking about the bag, and I get it. We’ll get to the bag in just a sec, but we’re going to talk about the leggings and the sweatshirt first.
I named these 7/8 leggings a MUST HAVE several years ago, and they remain a must have in my closet and my heart. 😉
The 7/8 length is the perfect ankle length on me. I’m 5’4″ with long legs (and no torso) for my height, but I know the leggings stretch and they work lengthwise on taller people as well. For size reference, I wear a small in the leggings.
They have a high waist with the perfect amount of compression. They suck you in, while still allowing you to breathe, and they don’t roll down on you! You definitely need the black, but after you fall in love with them, I feel certain you will grab one of the fun colors as well.
This sweatshirt is totally basic, BUT TOTALLY AWESOME.
I laughed out loud when I read the online description because it’s so true: Do your casual lineup a solid with this supersoft and cozy, classic crewneck sweatshirt because it’s essential for the gym, coffee runs or couch lounging.
Do your casual lineup a solid, y’all.
This is the “ivory grey heather”, but it comes in 5 additional colors.
YOU’RE GOING TO WANT AT LEAST 2.
I’m wearing a medium and feel like it’s the perfect oversized fit on me. It’s got a bit of a high low hem, which means it’s plenty long for leggings. I did cuff the sleeves one time, so the sleeves are plenty long as well. It’s lightweight and perfect for now all the way into spring. Since it’s not thick or bulky, it will fit easily under a jacket as well when the weather calls for it.
Okay, it’s time to finally talk about this awesome sling bag.
First of all, it’s super cute.
Second of all, it’s super functional.
And you’re not going to believe the price. Because it’s only $45.
So here’s a funny story about the bag…You see how I’m wearing the bag in front. I LOVE it like this. I felt like it was super easy to access everything, and I think it looked great. WELL. It seems as if it is actually designed to be worn with the bag in the back. Haha! Whatever, I liked it like this and I’m going to continue to wear it like this. (You can see it worn across the back on the site.)
I love the color combo in this one with the blush, mustard, and grey together. It also comes in a really pretty forest green color combo.
The back zipper opens the main compartment that’s super roomy. It has an additional slipper pocket and an additional zippered pocket inside the main compartment as well.
The front pocket has ample room too. There’s plenty of room for your wallet, your phone, keys, and some other essentials as well.
We’ll talk about the sneakers in the next outfit. Spoiler Alert: I love them.
I felt cute and sporty in this outfit, and I of course felt oh so comfy.
This next outfit has the same sweatshirt and the same leggings, just in different colors. My sweatshirt is “grey charcoal heather” and my leggings are “purple iris”. I think the color is so vibrant and fun, and they are 50% OFF right now! Again, I’m wearing a medium in the sweatshirt and a small in the leggings.
I love this dark grey with this bright iris.
The huggie earrings are tiny and sparkly, perfect to wear with everything. They’re huggies, so the post doesn’t stick out the back. You can talk on the phone with them in and sleep in them without any trouble. They won’t poke you at all.
I always get lots of questions about my cross necklace. It was a Christmas gift last year from Chris, and I wear it every single day. I found one that’s super similar HERE, and it’s only $45.
This duffel bag is fantastic. My girlfriend Cassie started talking about it years ago, but I just now took the plunge. I was thinking it would be a great gym bag, but Cassie actually sings its praises as a travel bag. The back of the bag has a sleeve that allows it to slip onto the handles of a carry-on suitcase very easily (see on site).
For me, it’s going to be a perfect bag to pack for the ranch for long weekends.
This would be a great Christmas gift for any travel lover on your list.
You can carry it over your shoulder, or you can use the detachable cross body strap like you saw it on me in the first pics of this outfit.
The material is soft and the bag is incredibly spacious with so many pockets. You will be SHOCKED at how much you can pack into this baby! Go read the reviews and you will be convinced. It also comes in chocolate and matte black.
My sneakers are super lightweight, super cute, and super comfortable. That’s all I really know about them (because that’s all I really need to know). 🙂
Here’s what the brand has to say:
- Lightweight: puts cushioning and performance underfoot with an emphasis on streamlined comfort
- Helion™ superfoam cushioning delivers lightweight energy return even in hot and cold temperatures
- Removable, cushioned insole with arch support
I cannot believe that I’m about to say this, but this is the first Stanley cup I’ve ever owned. I actually tried to order a striped version a while ago, but it was canceled before I received it. I’ve gotta be honest, I’ve never really understood the crazy hype… but now that I have one, I do really love this cup.
As Carter would say, this is some serious drip. 😉
These are the kind of outfits I want to wear every single day.
For my final outfit today, I switched out the light sweatshirt for a shearling hoodie, but everything else is the same as outfit #1.
It’s realllllllllllly warm and cozy.
It’s also quite oversized. I’m wearing a medium here with nothing under it, and it’s very roomy. I’m going to try a small, but I’m going to hang on to the medium for a bit because I want to make sure that the small isn’t too short.
That’s it for today, y’all! Hope you enjoyed checking out some of my current athleisure favorites. And don’t worry, I will of course continue to share new favorites as I find them.
