It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

GOOD FRIDAY
Today is Good Friday, and this weekend we celebrate the fact that Jesus loved us so much that he laid down his life for us. We celebrate that Jesus, perfect in every way, paid the price for all of our sins. And we celebrate the fact that 3 days later he rose from the dead as our personal Savior!
It is my hope this Easter weekend that we all feel the love that God has for each of us and know that we are all saved not by what we do, but by what Christ has already done for us. Jesus died for YOU. He loves YOU. He desires to have a personal relationship with YOU.
If you don’t have a church service to attend this weekend, you can watch mine HERE. If history is any indication, the music and the message will both be incredible. Today is Friday, but SUNDAY IS COMING!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

HACKING UPDATE
Okay, Ladies. TOMORROS IS THE DAY. I mean, MAYBE tomorrow the day. We’re definitely praying it’s the day.
As a reminder, my Facebook account was hacked on March 9th. I regained control of my personal account on March 12th, but I have yet to get control of my Sheaffer Told Me To Facebook page.
A couple of weeks ago when we were continuing to file tickets, start online chats, etc., we stumbled upon a page on my personal Facebook account that said I had restrictions on my account that would be lifted in X amount of days. Each day that day count decreases by 1. And Saturday at around 1:30 or so, the countdown is going to expire!! We are hoping and praying that when the restrictions are lifted, my business account will be restored. Fingers crossed, y’all!

MINI DENIM SHORTS REVIEW
I have a HUGE denim shorts review coming up sometime in the next couple of weeks, but I’ve got a mini one today where I’m highlighting 3 pairs that I already know that I love.
First up, I LOVE THESE DENIM SHORTS. I got them last year, but I only showed them a couple of times. I kept seeing tons of influencers sing their praises, but by the time I actually ordered them for myself, they were just about sold out.
NOT THIS YEAR, BABY!
They are fully stocked RIGHT NOW, so don’t miss out this year!
They are cute, soft, AND OH SO COMFY. They have a functional zipper and button….BUT GET THIS…..there’s elastic across the back of the waistband. Yep, they’re basically like toddler shorts. And they’re awesome. If you fully tuck in shirts, then these shorts aren’t going to be for you because the elastic waistband isn’t cute. But since I only 1/2 tuck shirts, nobody will ever see the waistband. I’ll just benefit from the comfort!
And this year they added pink and orange ones to the mix. SO CUTE! They’ve got white too! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. They are roomy, a little slouchy, and just perfect.
Also, where are my Texas girls? I grabbed this adorable Texas tee at Nordstrom, but now it’s almost sold out there. Great news though, because the Texas tee can also be found HERE. It has a vintage feel and look (with the raw seams and hem), and it features our state flower (the bluebonnet). I will say that I thought it looked more like a lightweight sweatshirt on the Nordstrom site, but it’s definitely the weight of a t-shirt. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, and it’s still quite roomy.

I’m going to feature two more pairs of denim shorts today.
For those of you that think the above are too short, too distressed, or both… check out these denim shorts.
These have a 5″ inseam, which I’ve found to be a really nice length as I’m getting older. Not too long, not too short, and fully covers the bootie with a couple of inches to spare! These have a frayed hem and only have a tiny bit of distressing on the side seams and the back pockets.
Texas tee (Texas tee also found HERE) / rattan hoop earrings / gold bracelet stack / denim shorts / sandals
And one more pair! These are from Wit and Wisdom, because you know that I love the stretchy fabric and the Ab Solution technology. These denim shorts also have a 5″ inseam, but these have a cuff instead of a frayed hem like the pair above. These also have a bit more distressing that the pair above. I’m wearing my regular size 4. DRESSSES UNDER $30
Did you see my post on Wednesday? I highlighted 5 dresses that were all under $30! And they were all FABULOUS!
This is the first time I’m sharing this white eyelet dress, and it’s ONLY $24! I’m sad that there are only 3 sizes left of the white dress, but the sunshine yellow seems to be well stocked! At 5’4″, I do think this dress is too long for me, but that’s great news for you taller gals! It’s 100% cotton and lined, and the eyelet pattern and scalloped details are both so feminine and pretty! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

You saw this dress earlier this week, but I had to show it again. I think it’s awesome. It’s seersucker, y’all! And it’s only $28.
It’s a classic shift, hits just a bit above my knee, and I love the simple styling. This tiny check is a really great robin’s egg blue and green.
It’s 100% cotton and machine washable! I love the split neck, the longer sleeve length (with an elasticized cuff), and the pockets. The fit is PERFECT. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
seersucker dress / pom pom straw tote / rattan hoop earrings / gold bracelet stack / sandals
This dress is the same silhouette as above, but instead of seersucker, it’s more of a cotton poplin.
This orange and pink floral pattern is vibrant and fun. It’s a gorgeous combo! I actually think I might be wearing it on Easter Sunday! Again, I’m wearing a small.
shift dress / rattan hoop earrings / gold bracelet stack / sandals
I seriously can’t believe this tered dress is under $18. It looks like a dress you would find at a favorite boutique or a higher end department store. The dainty little floral print on this dress is precious, and I love the color combination. The split v-neck is flattering, and I really like the little flutter sleeve and the gathered neck. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

WHAT I’VE BEEN WEARING
I met friends for lunch last week and wore this….
The pattern and colors in this floral blouse are fabulous, and I love the split neck, the tassels, the longer sleeve, and the elasticized sleeve hem. It’s got Anthro vibes, fabulous reviews, and it’s under $30. Please keep in mind that does top runs quite large, I’m wearing an XXS, so definitely size down at least 1 size.
These jeans have created lots of fanfare over the last several months. They are the most expensive jeans I’ve ever owned, I fell in love, and I’m still obsessed. They FEEL like they are expensive, which they should, BECAUSE THEY ARE! I’d heard tons of influencers sing the praises of Mother Jeans for quite awhile, and I I’m so glad I finally took the plunge. It helped that I had credit on Amazon, and that’s where I found them. They’ve got stretch in them, but they still have structure. They hold their shape, and they make me feel great. For size reference, I’m wearing a 27.
floral blouse / purple hoop earrings / Mother jeans at Nordstrom HERE (Mother jeans at Amazon)/ studded sandals
These studded sandals remind me very much of the studded Marc Fisher sandals that were so popular last year, but they are a fraction of the price. I think the studs make them a little bit edgy. For size reference, I sized up a 1/2. there are other sandals on the same link that don’t have studs, some are raffia, and most are brightly colored!

Love.
I met friends for dinner this week and wore this…
This floral blouse is one of my newest tops, and although a great closet basic to have, it’s also special. It’s an outfit maker. The colors and the pattern are both absolutely gorgeous. Notice the ruffle at the neckline and the puff sleeves! The cut is boxy, so although you can wear it out, I think it looks better with a half tuck. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
You’ve seen these jeans before in lots of previous Amazon posts, and I continue to be obsessed. I’m wearing the “light blue vintage”. They’re a straight leg jean, but a skinny straight leg, so they are an easy way to ease into the straight leg trend if you haven’t tried it yet. I’m wearing my regular size 4. Size down if between sizes. Oh, and they have the AbSolution technology we are all obsessed with!
They really are the perfect spring and summer light wash jean.

THE WRINKLE SPRAY I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT
I’ve talked about this wrinkle spray for years now, and here I am talking about it again BECAUSE I LOVE IT. I use it every week, several times a week, and I feel like everybody needs to try it.
When I’m getting ready for a try-on session or a photo shoot, it makes getting the clothes photo ready SO EASY.
For instance, check out this dress. It’s SERIOUSLY wrinkled.
I sprayed it with the wrinkle spray, tugged on the item, and then let it dry.

And Voila! Look how great it looks! No iron, no steamer, just the magical wrinkle spray.

EASTER EGG HUNT
Carter and his friend Campbell volunteered at an Easter Egg hung last weekend. They worked a craft table together and did a great job, but they ALMOST had to dress up as the Easter Bunny and a carrot (because the other people that signed up for those positions were running late). I’ve gotta say, I was really hoping for the bunny and carrot moment. Haha! 😉

BECAUSE I HAVE TO…
I’m posting this picture again, because I of course have to.
Look at that bright eyed baby.

AMAZON HOME
Just for fun, I created this collage of Amazon home items that I think are beautiful. I think it’s incredible that Amazon has so many wonderful home items.
rug / canvas / mirror / picture frame set / lamp / executive desk / faux fiddle leaf fig / basket / chair / throw pillow
I’ve ordered a handful of Amazon home items for myself recently, and I wanted to share them. Look how beautiful this wreath is!

This is the wreath I’m keeping. I think it’s so so pretty.
This one needs fluffing, but it’s so fresh with the white and green combo!

And LOOK! HOW! DARLING!
I’ve got nothing else today, so let’s say it again.
LOOK! HOW! DARLING!
I got this Dutch oven in white for my house, but my neighbor Keely grabbed it in orange. Look how cute it is in her kitchen! Thanks to lessons from my friend Jeni, I’m about to start baking homemade sourdough bread in it.

I’m laughing at the toddler comment on the shorts! That does sound comfy! Have you found any in between lengths for shorts this year, maybe 4 inch that you love? Thanks!
Sheaffer says
I think the ones I have from GAP are 4″! I’m trying to finish up all the pictures for the review, so the post probably won’t be this coming week, but next! xoxo

You have been sleeping on some of the great things Walmart has been putting out. Their Scoop line is incredible. I got the cutest raffia slides with a tortoise shell buckle in pink and natural that are total dupes for Sam Edelman sandals for 30.00 a pair. I have the Sam Edelman ones with the block heel and I prefer these so much more. They have had some cute shoes this spring and some darling dresses.
Sheaffer says
I need to check those sandals out! Thanks for the tip, Jeanine! xoxo
sandi says
You look so cute in those dresses. That style does not work for me, but you make it look good! We have a black front door and wreaths with mostly greenery tend be underwhelming; the pink forsythia is gorgeous. I’ve never thought to look for wreaths on Amazon.
Happy Easter… Sunday is coming… #hegotup
