It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

Some Amazon Home Finds
Okay, so I don’t decorate for Halloween at all, but I do like to create little fall moments around my home. I have some things ordered that have yet to arrive, but I do have a couple of things I can show you today!
I am DYING over these gorgeous velvet pumpkins. Click HERE to see all the colors and sizes available!
I fell in love the second I opened the box, and then when I saw the card that was included in the box, my love grew.
I LOVE that this shop owner/artist included this in the box! It truly did make me love the pumpkins even more. Well done, Michelle! And it’s a good reminder that there are lots of small businesses on Amazon.
Again, click HERE for her shop.
Okay, just coincidentally, I have another small business I found on Amazon that I want to feature today! Check out this amazing decorative book set. I have no idea how I came across the listing because I haven’t been looking for old books, but the moment I saw the listing, I knew I wanted to see what it was all about.
In mine and Chris’s first home, we had a large built-in bookshelf in the family room. In order to fill it, I would go to Half Price Books all the time and look for books with spines that were pretty and colorful. It was just a bonus if the titles were interesting too. 🙂 It was fun doing it, but ain’t nobody got time for that anymore….so if you are in need of books (for decorating purposes), this small business will curate a little set for you!
None of the sets are exactly the same, but I did shop for my set from this link. Isn’t this a genius idea? And look how pretty my little set is!
This package came with a note too! Books for Decor has a small team of people that hand select and artistically create all of their sets. No two sets are alike, and they take great pride in that! Click HERE for a link to their Amazon shop, and their ig handle is @booksfordecor.
I also grabbed some items to spruce up our porch for the new season.
24 x 24 striped pillow covers / 18x 18 faux leather pillow covers / orange plaid blanket
similar wooden Adirondack chairs
My mum is from Trader Joe’s and was only $14.99! It obviously hasn’t bloomed yet, but it’s a tri-color mum, so I can’t wait to see it in all its glory.

THE BRA IS BACK!
If you follow me on instastories, then you know that the Warners Wireless Bra I first talked about last month is BACK IN STOCK! Now, there’s a bit of a shipping delay on it, but I strongly encourage you to grab one for yourself anyway. Then you can just be thrilled at the end of October or beginning of November when it arrives.
It’s so so good. My stories should still be live until Friday at about 3:00, so go check them out if you want to hear me talk about it. (My ig handle is @sheaffertoldmeto.) You can find my hoodie HERE.
I mean, this picture should prove to you how much I love it, right? 🙂
It gives a nice rounded shape, it’s incredibly comfortable, and the heavily lined cups prevent any nipping issues that one might have. Also, the cups are sewn in, so you don’t have to worry about them falling out in the wash. PRAISE BE!
Click HERE for my original post. Click HERE for the bra.

NORDSTROM PLANNING
I’m starting to plan and order items for a Nordstrom post I have later in the month. I ordered everything for the below outfit.
AND HOW FREAKING CUTE IS THIS OUTFIT.
The boots came in late last night, and although I haven’t put them on yet, THEY ARE GORGEOUS. I already own the bracelet and love it, and everything else is on its way to me.
oversized plaid shirt / skinny ankle jeans / cream sweater / multicolor earrings / tall boots / necklace / bracelet / bag
And here are most of the same pieces, but just styled a bit differently with gray cropped jeans and cognac booties!

SOCIAL THREADS FINDS
I love working with Social Threads, and I’m always excited to check out their new arrivals each week. Remember you can use the code STMT10 to get 10% OFF your order!
This Dream On graphic tee is just plain cool. It’s not the length of a regular tee, but I wouldn’t call it cropped either (because it’s not going to show my belly). You see on the left that it is just long enough to still do a tiny half tuck. It’s actually out on the right. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This shacket looks great layered on top of it. I love the colors and the fit, but it is a bit itchy. I’m not super sensitive to itchy, but if you are, you are probably going to want to pass on this piece because it does have some wool in it. If you love the fit and the color like I do, you might want to just grab it and wear it over long sleeves. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Now on the opposite side of the itchy spectrum, this sherpa is fully lined, so soft, and oh so cozy. It has a zip closure, a snap closure on top of the zipper, a stand-up collar, and pockets! It’s awesome. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

BENNETT IS 3
My nephew turned 3 over the weekend, so we had the family over to celebrate. How cute is this kid! Good grief, I love him so much.

SOME NEW FAVORITES I’M EATING
I have a couple of new finds from Trader Joe’s that I want to share!
I’m obsessed with these little artichoke packets. Sometimes I pop them on a salad, sometimes I just eat a packet as an afternoon snack.
The packets aren’t big (this is the entire contents of 1 packet), but they sure are delicious.
And possibly one of my favorite food finds of all times, these bags of pre-cut butternut squash.
We cannot stop eating it.
I line a pan with foil, spray with a little olive oil spray, and spread out these chunks on the pan. I spray the tops of them with olive oil too, and then I sprinkle with salt (and sometimes with garlic powder). I roast them on 420 for like 45 minutes and they are SCRUMPTIOUS. Yes, that’s right, I just said “scumptious” when describing a sqash. #iftheshoefits

WE GOT A WIN
Carter’s football team has had a bit of a rough go of it so far this year, but they got a win this week! The boys really needed it, and if we’re being honest, so did all the mamas. 🙂 We sure are proud of our kids and how hard they are all working! Waking up at 5:30 4 days a week to get to practice is no joke.

GETTING READY FOR FUTURE POSTS
Get excited, because I have awesome Walmart and Kohl’s posts coming up with some really great finds.
In fact, I found so many pieces from both retailers, I actually have enough for 2 posts for each of them. I met with my photographer friend Ralonda to shoot both campaigns on Wednesday, so I spent Tuesday trying TONS of stuff on and mixing and matching the pieces into different outfits!
All 4 of the below pieces are AWESOME. I seriously can’t even put into words how much I’m loving my Walmart finds. And I’m telling you, these are just a handful of the finds. Obviously I’m going to need you to picture me with a really great pair of jeans on. 😉
pink raglan popover (the reviews are near perfect)/ $15 pink striped sweater / puff sleeve sweatshirt / puffer coat
I also got a HUGE Kohl’s order in. I loved so many of the items I got, and not all of it could be on this coming Monday’s post, so I’m giving you a peak at some of the pieces today!
This sweater poncho is made for football games and pumpkin patches. It’s obviously a suuuuuuuuper relaxed fit (as all ponchos are), but I think it lays very nicely. And I love the cable knit V design. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. It’s plenty long for leggings, and I think it will look great with my SPANX faux leather leggings and sneakers.

This plaid ruffle button up spoke to me. I loved the colors, I loved the pattern, I loved the tiny ruffle on the sleeve….but I didn’t love the way it fit me. 🙁 I’m wearing a medium here, but it’s still pulling through the chest. It’s DARLING, so I was bummed.

This cropped (but not too cropped hoodie) is a really pretty wine/plum color, and I thought it was perfect paired with these floral leggings. I’m wearing a medium in the hoodie and a small in the leggings. And the quilted jacket is AWESOME. I’ll wear it with athleisure, but I’ll definitely wear it with jeans and sweaters as well (which I’ll show you on Monday). I’m wearing a medium in the jacket.

Y’all, hoodies like this are popping up everywhere.
I’ve showed you one from Social Threads, one from Amazon, and now this one from Kohl’s! It comes in 10 colors and has near perfect reviews. It’s not as heavy as the Social Threads version, and it’s not lined with fleece like the Amazon version…this one is thin and soft like a lightweight sweatshirt. It really is great. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
hoodie / drop shoulder tee / ankle leggings / sneakers
This Columbia rain jacket doesn’t fit my body, but gosh I wish it did. The medium was too tight in the chest, but the large is too tight in the hips. It comes in 8 colors, and it’s on sale right now!

This black tie front dress is incredibly classic and totally chic. It’s relatively new, so it only has 16 reviews, but they are all near perfect. It’s soft, it’s got some stretch in it, and I think it’s quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’m not sure this is very “me”, but this metallic cardigan sure is pretty. Style it as a true cardigan, or leave it buttoned up like this for a fresh take. It also comes in a neutral and a blush. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

If you’re a regular reader, you know I’ve been shouting about my love of this bomber jacket for several weeks now.
I still love it.
And I still think you should get it.
I think it is fun styled here with a graphic tee, distressed jeans, and these high-top sneakers! I wear a medium in the jacket and the tee. The sneakers are true to size for me.

WEEK IN REVIEW
Monday was September’s Top 12 post. Head to the post to see me in all of the items, but you can check out all of them right here!
1) bomber jacket / 2) mixed media puff sleeve tee / 3) high collar lululemon sweatshirt dupe / 4) cocoon cardigan / 5) chunky hoop earrings / 6) necklace / 7) Ab-Solution jeans / 8) sneakers (white/black leather)/ 9) hoodie / 10) blazer / 11) chunky heel booties (1-light brown)/ 12) orange leopard cardigan
Wednesday was all about graphic tees for Halloween and fall! I shared a couple of different head to toe looks on me and I share a flat lay of 9 different graphic tees.
I also shared how I don’t love a costume, but I do love a graphic tee (and to look festive).
I called this look Halloween Chic.
Because the tee has a pumpkin on it (FESTIVE), but the rest of the outfit is totally normal and I’m wearing leopard mules. #halloweenchic
pumpkin tee / rust cardigan /sunglasses / chunky hoop earrings / bag / gold bracelet set / light blue vintage straight leg jeans / leopard mules
But do you see what I mean? The pumpkin on the tee and the pumpkin colored cardi make me instantly festive! I’m wearing a medium in both. I accessorized with gold jewelry and loved the whole look. (The earrings and bracelet set are from Amazon, I’ve had both for over a year and y’all have seen them countless times.)
Click HERE for the link necklace and HERE for the blush and gold statement ring (it also comes in a pretty gray).

That Aimie Kestenberg has been on my wishlist for awhile. Can’t wait to hear your review so I can make a decision!
Margaret says
That collection of books is so cute, but I’m not sure I could live with a copy of The Exorcist. That story/movie still terrifies me. 😀
Angela Brown says
Sheaffer, I just love your style, I’m thinking I need the rust cardigan & the sweater poncho for fall. I’ll be picking up some Marinated Artichokes as well. I laughed out LOL, when you said “Praise Be.” Are you a fan of a certain show as well?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Angela! The artichokes are OUTSTANDING. And I don’t know what show you’re talking about, so I must not watch it. I have another rust cardigan in Monday’s post styled with both jeans and a dress. Whatever rust cardi you get, get one for sure! xoxo
