It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

DEMOCRACY JEANS

So I know we all love Wit and Wisdom jeans.  Every so often I find a pair of jeans I love that aren’t Wit and Wisdom, but that’s very rare.  You just can’t beat the comfort, stretch, and flattering style of their jeans.

And then last year I discovered that Democracy jeans (found on Amazon) are a sister brand of Wit and Wisdom (at least I think that’s how it should be described).  They are great too.

Well, last week I ordered a new pair of Democracy jeans and I think they are AWESOME!

These jeans are taking me back to my skinny jeans roots.  A skinny fit, super flattering, and a great wash for fall.  You’ll see I have them just turned up 1 tiny hem, and on the site the model is wearing them turned up twice.  They are cropped, which is great for my 5’4″ frame. And I love that they are cropped just enough on me to show that little bit of skin between the bottom of my jeans and the top of my booties.

Democracy’s signature “Ab”solution jean uses innovative construction that incorporates smooth, super-stretch denim, slimming panels to mold and hold, a hidden inner elastic waistband for a no gap waist, mesh panels for tummy control, signature curved back yoke, and strategically placed pockets which give her a “booty lift.”

For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.  Size down if between sizes.

FALL DRESS

I love wearing dresses with booties during the fall months.  This Madewell dress caught my eye because it’s a great fall color, and I knew I had to try it when I saw the relaxed fit.  It’s gauzy and lightweight with babydoll styling and it’s sooooooooo comfy. It’s not lined, but it isn’t see thru.  For size reference, I’m wearing a size 6 which is often true to size for me in dresses.  It could obviously use a steam right now, but I took it right out of the box yesterday to grab some quick pics for today’s post!

A GREAT FALL BAG

I get requests for bag recommendations ALL THE TIME.  Like I would imagine I get at least 5 or so every week.

Well, I’ve got a great recommendation today!!!

I admired this bag last year, so I was THRILLED when I saw they brought it back this week.  I texted my friend Sara at Social Threads yesterday, and it’s now on it’s way to me!!!!!!  I was going to wait until I got the bag to talk about it with y’all; however, The Motherchic is a freaking force and I’m afraid her people might sell it out before I have time to get it and photograph it.  So, today it is!

The bag doesn’t come with a strap at all, just the handles.  But you can click HERE for the black and white strap you see below if you want to add it on your order.

The medium is what is shown below, and the medium is what I’m getting!  I think it’s adorable and absolutely love the black and white stripe.  It features 2 interior pockets (one with a zipper!), magnetic snap closure, 2 gold rings that allow you to attach a strap, and 4 gold studs on the bottom of the bag.

I love all of the bracelets, but I really like how neutral the cheetah wrap bracelet is, and it’s got a lot of sass.

Okay, let’s talk about the Ashby.  I love this bracelet.  I love the color blocking, and I think it looks very designer and super high end.  Now here’s what’s interesting.  I think the bracelet is like a dark slate (or super dark charcoal) and white.  I don’t think it’s a solid black, but I think it’s pretty darn close.

HOWEVER, it seems that many of you think it looks like it’s navy and white.  In fact, I did a poll on ig stories….70% voted navy and 30% voted white.  DANG!!!!!

I still don’t see navy AT ALL.

Oh, well.

Whatever it is, you need it.  Haha!

PUPS

It’s come to my attention as of late that there are some people here basically just for the dog content.  Haha!  So, in order to provide content for those readers, I’ve got some more pup pics today.

Now that Carter is back in school, the dogs miss him all day long.  They demand snuggle time when he gets home.  This was Friday afternoon (of the first week of school) right after Carter walked in the door.  I mean, I can’t even.

This is my view most mornings when they head outside after they first wake up.  If one of us goes out with them, Buddy always ends up sitting directly on somebody’s feet.  He doesn’t understand that he’s 100 pounds.

I walked down the stairs the other morning after waking my preteen up at 11:00, and the dogs were both in this stance.  They were like statues, and even when I called their names, they refused to move which is VERY unlike them.  I was afraid they had a mouse cornered or something, but when I got downstairs, nothing was out of the ordinary.  About 10 minutes later Carter realized that Charlie had a foosball in his mouth.  We were laughing so hard.  If either of them ever have something they know they aren’t supposed to have, they just kind of freeze.  I should have known.  Haha!
