Happy Monday, Everybody!
Well, it’s that time again….it’s time for my monthly Amazon haul!!!
And no surprise here, I found TONS of great stuff to feature this month. A lot of today’s items are perfect to help start transitioning all of us to fall, and I. AM. READY.
Here’s a little sneak peek…
**********************
Let’s kick things off with several dresses!
This dress is DARLING. Don’t ya think? It’s a washed linen with tiers, a split neck, and ruffles. It’s adorable without being too sweet, and I think it’s so cute styled with booties for fall…although it would be just as cute styled with sandals for now. I’m wearing the “tan/black woodblock floral” here, but it comes in several solids as well as some other seriously cute patterns (including an awning stripe and an indigo ikat).
It’s 55% linen and 45% cotton, so it definitely has a bit of structure to it. It’s a great dress! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It doesn’t have any give at all, so I definitely needed a medium for room in the chest.
tiered dress / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / block heel booties
Okay, another dress I love! This flutter sleeve dress is a really pretty red color and has lots of great details. It has fantastic reviews AND IT HAS POCKETS. I don’t know what it is about pockets in a dress that we ladies love so much, BUT IT’S A THING. #welovepockets
flutter sleeve dress / denim jacket / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / block heel booties
This bracelet comes in several styles and colorways, and this is the “teal/red/box”. It’s one cuff bracelet, but it looks like lots of single layered bracelets that combine red, blue, turquoise, yellow, green, purple, pink, gold, silver. It is so bright and colorful and will go with so many things.
Here’s the dress without the jacket so you can get a better look at it. It’s styled for right now, you know, when it feels like 108 degrees outside. It’s got a little flutter sleeve, a v neck, and it’s tiered. I put it on straight out of the box here, but it could definitely benefit from a good steam.
flutter sleeve dress / denim jacket / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / neutral patent sandals
While both dresses above are a linen/cotton blend, this dress is 100% cotton. It’s a classic t-shirt dress with just a little flare with the flutter sleeves. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
ruffle sleeve dress / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / neutral patent sandals
And once again, I wanted to show you how this dress can transition perfectly into fall!
ruffle sleeve dress / denim jacket / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / block heel booties
Now I’ve got a much more casual dress for you. This sweatshirt dress is sooooooo soft and comfy. It’s not clingy, just a nice and relaxed fit (without being too big and boxy). For size reference, I’m wearing a small. At 5’4″, it’s longer than I would like it, but that’s great news for you taller ladies.
I love it styled with sneakers.
Go read the reviews! People love this dress!

Okay, I’ve got lots to say about this sweater. I saw Shay wearing one in a different color, and I immediately wanted to order it for myself. First of all, I think this rust color is absolutely beautiful and love it for fall. It’s officially called “red”, but it’s definitely more of a pumpkin or rust. It also comes in black, blue, grey, beige, khaki, and a light pink.
This sweater has mixed reviews, but I really like it. In fact, I like it so much I think I might grab it in black too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
sweater / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / similar cropped straight leg jeans / block heel booties
This scoop neck swing tee is soooooooooooo good, y’all.
It’s a smooth luxe jersey, it’s super soft, and it’s got a great little swingy fit. I prefer tees with a little room and a more relaxed fit, and this tee fits the bill. It’s perfect on it’s own, but it’s also a perfect light tee to layer with. It will look great under a cardi, a denim jacket, or a military jacket.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
This is one of those closet staples that you might want to have in black, white, and a stripe.
scoop neck swing tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / gold bracelet / similar cropped straight leg jeans / block heel booties
This sweater has a great color block pattern, a v neck, and a banded hem at the bottom. It’s got a nice fit, and I actually like some of the new colorways that have been added more than I do this one. I think the white, grey, oatmeal, and blush color combination is so pretty. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I do want to give you the heads up that the little holes you see at the border of each color block are a bit see thru. I think you’ll be fine as long as you are wearing a neutral bra.
color block sweater / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / gold bracelet / similar cropped straight leg jeans / block heel booties
I love this waffle knit cardigan, but I don’t love the color I got. I ordered “beige”, but I think it has a lot more yellow undertones than brown. I’m going to return this one and grab the A-khaki! It’s super casual and lightweight and I love it.
Actually, when looking for a new color, I saw some different cardigans on the same link. They aren’t the waffle knit, but they look super soft and awesome.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
waffle knit cardigan / white tee / denim shorts / shoreline converse
EVERYBODY needs a military jacket has been a stance I’ve taken for years.
But to be honest, now I think everybody needs at least 2 military jackets. Listen, after years of collecting them, I have several. #letsnotmakemecount They often are just the perfect layer to grab, and they are all in constant rotation.
An olive one is completely necessary (it functions wonderfully as a neutral), and this military jacket comes in olive too! I’ve had and loved a grey one, and I think this one is an awesome color for fall,
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium here, but I definitely need a small. The medium was way too big, so I would say that most need to size down a size. I mean, I sometimes wear a small in jackets, but more often a medium…and this one was really big on me.
striped tee / military jacket / layered necklace / chunky hoop earrings / frayed step hem grey jeans / wedge sneakers
Did you see my new graphic tees post last week? I showed you how to style 3 of them, but there were several others I hadn’t shown in outfits yet.
This “mama” one is super simple, but I think it’s super cute. It’s super soft too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
mama tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / multicolor bracelet with turquoise / similar cropped straight leg jeans/ chunky booties
And listen, I identify with “Mama Tried” so hard. Again, I’m wearing a medium.
And remember, both the chunky hoop earrings and the layered necklace are both from Amazon, they are both under $15, and they are both awesome.
Mama Tried tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / multicolor bracelet with turquoise / similar cropped straight leg jeans/ chunky booties
This one made me lol. Wearing a medium.
I Like Coffee and Maybe 3 People tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / multicolor bracelet with turquoise / similar cropped straight leg jeans/ chunky booties
This pumpkin tee is adorable. And listen, I know it seems early to be posting a pumpkin tee, but what I’ve found is that when it’s actually time to buy them, they are hard to find.
For $8.99, I figured you could go ahead and buy it early. It comes in other colors and patterns as well. It’s super soft, and I’m wearing a medium.
pumpkin tee / denim shorts / shoreline converse
Once again… super cute, super soft, and I’m wearing a medium.
star tee / denim shorts / shoreline converse
Now let’s get to some new work out gear/athleisure.
This quarter zip hoodie is awesome. I love the colors, I LOVE the zipper, and I love the style. It’s cropped, which I normally don’t go for in work out gear, but this changed my mind. It’s sporty and just has so much style! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
These leggings are high waisted and a perfectly cropped length for my 5’4″ frame. I don’t wear leggings unless they are high waisted. I’m wearing the ginger, but they come in lots of other colors including a great camo pattern. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
quarter zip hoodie / pave huggie earrings / leggings / slip on mesh sneakers (6701 mauve)
If the outfit above is too bold for you, the sweatshirt also looks great with black capri leggings!
These are the leggings I purchased back in 2019. I’ve washed them countless times, and they still look brand new. They hold their shape, they don’t sag, and they aren’t see thru.
And if you don’t have these slip on sneakers, get them. Trust me. They slip on so easily, they are super comfortable, and they look great. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
quarter zip hoodie / pave huggie earrings / capri leggings / slip on mesh sneakers (6702 black)
And how fun is this tie dye sweatshirt! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I’ll love wearing this with both grey joggers and jeans as well.
tie dye sweatshirt / pave huggie earrings / capri leggings / slip on mesh sneakers (6702 black)
For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but it’s way too small. I definitely need a medium.
windbreaker jacket /black tee / gold hoops / blingy necklace / 7/8 leggings / sneakers (light grey – size down a 1/2)

BACK IN STOCK
This next outfit has 3 more items (all from Amazon) that I feel like everybody could use in their closet!
Amazon is calling this a slouchy sweatshirt, but I would describe it as more of jersey tee.
It’s heavier than just a regular tee, and it’s verrrrrrrrrrrrry soft. It feels really good on, and I love the drop shoulder, the longer sleeve length, and the banded sleeve and hem. The sleeve ends right above my elbow, so it’s great for those that don’t love showing their arms. I also love the band on the bottom and the longer length, although it wouldn’t be long enough for leggings for me (plus, I think it would be too clingy for leggings).
It also comes in black, navy, and grey. It’s a great basic that’s great on it’s own now, and it will be perfect for layering as the temperatures drop.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small
slouchy tee / favorite earrings / blue distressed jeans / mesh sneakers
Okay, y’all! THE JEANS!
I grabbed the jeans on Amazon, and they are the Democracy brand (a sister brand to Wit and Wisdom). So all of you Wit and Wisdom lovers need to pay extra close attention. They are officially called jeggings because of their extreme stretch, but they DO have a functional button and zipper.
They are super stretchy (but don’t stretch out or sag during the day!) and are super similar to the Wit and Wisdom jeans with the Ab-solution technology that we all know and love. They boast a no gap waistband, slimming mesh panels, and booty lift technology. The jeans also come in a dark indigo, black (a great option if the jeggings above weren’t available in your size), grey, and a non distressed version of the medium wash that I’m in below.
For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.
slouchy tee / favorite earrings / blue distressed jeans / mesh sneakers
And these mesh sneakers (that I’m wearing in the outfit above) are freaking fantastic. Mine are the “apricot”, but I think they are more of a nice neutral taupe with maybe a hint of blush. True to size for me.
These sneakers are like no other sneakers I’ve ever had. They almost feel like a thick and tight sock when wearing them, but they are obviously shoes because of the soles and the tread on the bottom. I talked about these a lot last year, and tons of you purchased them. One reader said she “wore them all over Europe with no pain” and another said that she “pops them in the washing machine and they come out perfectly“. Another said that she wears them without socks “but they never get stinky like her Converse“. All really good information, right?
They come in TONS of colors and go on easily with just a little tug on the tabs in the back.
They have THOUSANDS of 5 Star Reviews, and the price point is $34.99. INCREDIBLE.
There’s nothing I love much more than a hoodie. Except maybe a camo hoodie that’s UNDER $25.
It comes in 9 colors, and although the camo is definitely my favorite, I really love the heathered oatmeal too.
camo zip up hoodie / white tee / denim shorts sold out / slip on mesh sneakers
Ladies, these flats are ONLY $19.90. They are a classic ballet fit with elasticized sides that are comfy. They also come in black, navy, nude, gold, and dark bronze (which I love). This brown is darker than a normal cognac, but they aren’t quite as dark as they appear in this picture. True to size for me.
There are lots of reviews on them with a good amount of pictures, so hop over to see those if you are curious to see what others have to say. These are definitely budget flats, but I think they are a really good inexpensive option.
(If you’re willing to pay more for a high quality flat, I highly recommend these. I’ve collected them in nude, cognac, and leopard over the last several years and highly recommend them. They are extremely comfortable for all day wear and totally worth the money.)
Last year I got this same popover in the “blue classic stripe” and I loved it. Now here’s the problem… I CANNOT FIND IT TO SAVE MY LIFE. Like, where in the world did it go? I also can’t find a picture of me in it, but I had it and loved it.
I’m so happy I grabbed this white/cardinal stripe one too. My favorite way to wear it is to leave the top 2 buttons open and casually cuff the sleeves up 2 cuffs. This is a great shirt.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, which is most often true to size for me with shirts that have buttons and/or no give in the chest.
popover /earrings / dainty necklace /link bracelets / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
I MEAN. COME ON. THIS IS A DARLING SHIRT.
popover /earrings / dainty necklace /link bracelets / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
I’m still dying over this absolutely DARLING sweater. It sold out so fast last year, but it’s back!
It’s lightweight, but it’s not flimsy, so it’s the perfect weight for Spring, Summer, and early Fall! I think the colors in the zig zag pattern are awesome, and I love that it’s not like anything else in my closet. It’s comfy, it’s very well made, and it fits great. I also love the sleeve length and how it covers my entire upper arm. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I think it’s super cute worn casually here with denim cut-offs, but it’s definitely nice enough to dress up for the office as well.

And for those of you that didn’t see my Amazon Beauty feature earlier this month, I thought I would post it again!
It’s no secret now that I shop Amazon for just about everything. I mean, WHAT IN THE WORLD DID WE DO BEFORE AMAZON.
For some reason it took me a bit to get used to the idea of buying beauty products on Amazon. I’m not sure the reason for my hesitation, but now I’m ALL IN. Their beauty department is VAST. And a ton of stuff you probably already use and usually buy at different retailers, you can actually grab on Amazon.
Click HERE for premium beauty on Amazon.
You can also check out customer beauty favorites.
Below you’ll see a handful of items that I either already own or items that have caught my eye (that I most probably will own in the near future). Look to the top right of each pictured item, and you’ll see that everything I’m featuring today has FANTASTIC reviews. I really encourage you to take the time to check out any of these beauty products that you are interested in. The reviews will tell you so much!
facial steamer / Maria Badesco / NYX pore filler
drying and styling brush / clear organization drawers / lip mask
spinning beauty product organizer / deodorant for Carter / facial toning masks
facial steamer / I ordered this for myself several weeks ago. See below for pics and my thoughts.
Maria Badesco / I saw tons of influencers talking about this, so I decided to give it a try for when I have random pimples pop up. I actually haven’t had any pop up lately, so I’m still waiting to try it.
NYX pore filler / I found this product several years ago when I was doing a beauty post with Macy’s. It immediately became a ride or die product for me, so I was thrilled when I realized I could order it on Amazon. Soooo much more convenient than ordering at Macy’s.
drying and styling brush / Y’all have seen me talk about this styling brush for well over a year now. It changed my hair drying game. I put it in this collage as a reminder that Amazon has TONS of beauty tools and accessories.
clear organization drawers / My bathroom drawers, on top of the counter organizers, and under the cabinet organizers are OUT OF CONTROL right now. I have some pretty serious product overflow so I ordered these drawers to keep some of the overflow in my closet.
lip mask / This is another total ride or die product for me. I put it on every single night. I used to only buy it at Sephora, but once again, buying it from Amazon is so much more convenient.
spinning beauty product organizer / I’ve owned this for a couple of years and cannot imagine my bathroom counter without it. The shelves are adjustable, it spins for easy access, and it holds sooooooooooooo many products!
deodorant for Carter / The jury is still out on this. I bought it for Carter because it’s aluminum free, I’m just not sure how it’s going to work. He hates really wet products under his arms, but this seems realllllly dry to me. It’s got great reviews though, so we are going to give it a try.
facial toning masks / I’ve seen these all over instagram land. They have excellent reviews, and influencers swear by them! They are supposed to tone your jawline, chin, and neck.
Okay, so here is the facial steamer that I highlighted in the collage above.
I was seriously influenced on this one. SEVERAL ladies I follow on instagram have been sharing their steaming routines, and I was intrigued. Here’s what the site has to say about it… Relax and unwind while detoxifying your skin of impurities and dead skin cells with your personal, at-home steamer system.
The set also includes the customizable Bunny Ears Spa Headband. It has an adjustable bunny ears closure, it’s perfect for keeping your hair out of the way when washing your face and/or using a mask treatment, applying makeup, and more.
And y’all, I tried to get a good pic of me using the steamer. It was harder than I imagined it would be, but I got a good laugh. Haha!
This was late at night, so the lighting is terrible, but you get the idea. It obviously puts out a good amount of steam.
I’m excited about committing to using this consistently and hopefully seeing great results!

THE LAST 5 THINGS I PRIMED
Just for fun, I took a look at my Amazon order history to see the 5 last things I primed:
- I ordered another pair of Democracy jeans! I’m excited to try this cropped pair!
- This rugby striped tee is on it’s way to me in pink and navy, lots of other colors available.
- This studded tote/cross body in the mushroom. It comes in black too.
- I ordered these zit patches and they actually arrived last week, I just haven’t had a reason to use them yet. You can’t argue with over 60,000 5 Star Reviews. WOW.
- My makeup brush set came in and it’s absolutely incredible.
I thought it would be fun if y’all did the same and left your most recently primed items in the comments section….or maybe the craziest item you remember priming….or maybe tell about a time when Amazon Prime basically saved you somehow. Sound off in the comments!

My favorite post every month. I ordered that first dress, that rust sweater, that striped tee, and that cute cropped sweatshirt and leggings combo. Last year I got those Democracy jeans and loved them, so I’m interested to see what you think about the cropped pair you just ordered!
Sheaffer says
So fun, Sarah! You grabbed some great things! I’ll be sure to review the cropped Democracy jeans for y’all. xoxo
Mallory says
Loved this post, definitely will be ordering some things! The last 3 things I primed: soccer socks for my kid, college ruled paper, and that facial steamer you talked about a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been loving it!
Sheaffer says
That’s awesome! Love that you’re loving the facial steamer! And that reminds me…I need to order new blue soccer socks for Carter. 🙂 xoxo

That first dress is adorable for fall!
Shay Shull says
I’m giving this post all the praise hands!!!
Alisha Wilson says
Hey Sheaffer! Love those jeans you are wearing in a lot of the pics (the rust sweater, etc), and noticed the link is for “similar”. What is the brand so I can look out for restock? Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Alisha! They are Vigoss Stevie jeans from Nordstrom! xoxo
Arlene says
Awesome post!! Thank you! Quick question (and sorry if I missed it) but what size are you wearing on the red flutter sleeve dress? You look so cute in all of them! 🙂
Sheaffer says
Hi, Arlene! I’m wearing a medium. Definitely needed the room in the chest, the dress has little to no give. xoxo
Arlene says
Thanks so much! ALWAYS nice to know which measurement area to pay attention to and what doesn’t give! I hate a tight dress in the shoulders/chest!

Prime saved me last year when I needed a fancy dress for an affair. I had not been able to find anything in the stores. Desperate, I ordered two different dresses in two sizes. The one I wore arrived at 12noon and I was in it at 4pm.
Love Prime!
