Okay, Ladies.
I. Am. Pumped.
Listen, EVERYBODY should be excited for today’s post… but if you’re a teacher, you should be extra excited.
I have TONS of dresses today that are great for a school setting, and they are ALL FROM AMAZON! Now, if you’re not a teacher, that’s okay too because most of the dresses are professional enough to be worn in an office setting. And if you don’t work out of the home at all, some of them are great for church, and some of them are great for just running around town.
And all of the dresses on today’s post are super cute and perfect for comfortable and easy all day wear! AND THEY ARE ALL SUPER AFFORDABLE! Here’s a little peek at just some of the dresses…
I’ve shown y’all this dress before in red, and today I’m showing it in classic black and a light green floral.
I had no idea how much I was going to love this strapless maxi dress. AND GIRLS, I LOVE THIS DRESS. But please don’t let the fact that it’s strapless scare you away. Throw a denim jacket or cardi on top, nobody will even know it’s strapless, and you’re ready for school!
First of all, there are THOUSANDS of 5 star reviews. A lot of the reviewers posted pics of themselves in the dress as well if you want to see it on different body types (I know this is often super helpful). It comes in a multitude of colors and prints. It’s a pull on dress without any zippers, and it’s insanely comfortable. It’s smocked across the bust, and it stays put. It’s tiered and has little ruffles on the tiers. It’s adorable.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. (Obviously it needs a quick steam, I took it right out of the package and put it on.)
My favorite strapless bra works perfectly with it AND IT’S ON SALE!!! If you already have this strapless bra, you know it’s one of the most comfortable bras ever (not just strapless) and that you can wear it all day with no trouble!
strapless maxi dress / denim jacket / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
This is the light green. So pretty!
strapless maxi dress / denim jacket / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
And as a reminder, here it is in red.
strapless maxi dress / denim jacket / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
Y’all know I love a great t-shirt dress, and this is a really great one. I’m wearing the “A-blacked striped” dress here. It’s a good length, classic scoop neck, it comes in tons of colors, and IT HAS POCKETS! It’s a rayon and spandex combo, so it’s got some stretch to it and most colors and sizes are UNDER $25. I love that it’s not a clingy fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium for a more relaxed fit here. In just a second you’ll see the exact dress (in a colorful striped pattern) on me in a small so you can compare the fits.
striped t shirt dress / earrings / bezel set necklace / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
Here’s the same dress in a tie dye pattern.
tie dye dress / turquoise beaded earrings / bracelet stack / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
And here’s the pastel striped version. For size reference, I’m wearing a small in this one (and a medium in the other two). I’ve decided that I prefer the fit of the medium.
striped dress / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
This chiffon dress comes in both short sleeve and long sleeve options and comes in several colors/patterns. Certain colors and sizes look like they won’t ship for a bit, but the black one actually looks like it’s full stocked and readily available in most sizes! The skirt of the dress is lined, so a slip is not required.
Love the subtle flutter sleeves, love the tiered skirt with ruffles, love the modest v neck, and you can’t see it in these pictures but the top of the neckline is pleated and so pretty! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
dress / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
This shift dress is one of the more expensive dresses in today’s post, but it is beautifully made. It has an exposed zipper in the back (see the pics online) and has a great fit. The material is a bit thicker so it will transition nicely into fall. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I would prefer a medium.
striped dress / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
This swiss dot dress has a great swingy fit and adorable raised swiss dot pattern. You can see how it’s lined on the bodice and skirt, so it doesn’t require a slip although the sleeves and hem read as sheer. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
swiss dot dress / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / blush wedges
This color block dress is DARLING! It’s got a loose and flowy fit, cute fluttered sleeves, and it feels a bit silky to the touch. It is very generously cut. I’m wearing a small, and there’s still quite a bit of room. It’s a little long for my preference (I’m 5’4″), but that’s great news for all of you taller ladies.
color block dress / earrings / recycled flip flop bracelets / patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
This split maxi dress is a great olive color and I think it looks great styled with the navy cardigan. The dress looks now to be on a delayed ship, but the cardi is full stocked and comes in lots of colors!
This cardigan is an essential piece for teachers. Actually, it’s an essential piece for EVERYBODY! It has excellent ratings and is perfect throwing on over dresses and tees.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small in both the dress and the cardi.
split maxi dress / cardigan / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
We can’t talk about great teacher dresses without mentioning this puff sleeve beauty.
I had this puff sleeved dress in a print last year and loved it, but it sold out. I posted the black awhile back and have received so many messages from y’all about how you love it and how it’s such great quality! It’s soooooooooooo incredibly soft. The material isn’t heavy, but it’s thicker than a regular tee, so it feels very well made. I love the fit (it’s very forgiving) and the puff sleeves are such a nice design element, without being too dramatic. It is such a great dress.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. For a more relaxed fit, size up.
The reviews on this dress are great, so if you’re on the fence, go see what other people have to say about it! Some have posted pics of them in the dress as well.
puff sleeved dress / rainbow beaded earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
And here it is with black with this super colorful bag. The pattern is so fun and whimsical, and it’s a great large size!
I’m telling you, this is a dress you will reach for ALL THE TIME.
puff sleeved dress / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / bracelet / sandals (size up a 1/2) / bag
This dress is jersey and a little more slinky than the two dresses above. It’s got great reviews too, but it’s also thinner than dresses above, so just know that going into it.
I love this “brick” color, but it comes in 8 other colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
jersey dress /denim jacket / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / bracelet / sandals (size up a 1/2) / rattan bag
I really like the color and fit of this shift dress. However, I’m not sure why it’s called a “sweater trim dress”, because there’s nothing about it that’s similar to sweater material. The material is a bit odd, kind of like a really thin scuba material, but I like the fit so much that I’m keeping it. Totally easy to dress up or down. For size reference, I’m wearing a 6.
shift dress / classic gold hoops / bezel set necklace / colorful cuff bracelet / neutral wedges (size up 1/2)
This swing tank dress is under $25.
I’m wearing the french stripe black, but it comes in 16 colors/patterns. It’s got a comfortable and flowy fit (not clingy at all), and the fabric is so soft. This dress would be great for travel! You could wear it on the plane, but it would also be perfect for packing. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
And if you are in the market for a fun pair of earrings, check out these rattan beaded earrings!
swing tank dress / denim jacket / sunglasses / rattan beaded earrings / rattan bag with circle handle / black strappy sandals
This is the same dress, but in the “green navy abstract floral”. I think the colors are so pretty, but there are several great stripes, solids, and patterns to choose from!
swing tank dress / denim jacket /rattan beaded earrings / sandals (size up a 1/2)
Do you love the idea of a t-shirt dress, but prefer a short sleeve instead of a sleeveless cut? Well, here you go! This scoop neck t-shirt dress is going to be right up your alley! I’m wearing the “french red stripe”, but it comes in 8 total colors/patterns. Just like the tank dress, it’s incredibly soft and comfortable. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
scoop neck t-shirt dress /rattan beaded earrings / colorful jelly bangles / sandals (size up a 1/2)
You absolutely cannot go wrong with a long black maxi. It’s a perfect teacher dress. Top it off with a cardi and you’ve got a super comfortable and super cute outfit for a day full of teaching! I’m wearing a small in the dress.
This particular dress is very picked over, but if you take a small, you can grab black or olive right now.
We’ll talk about it again in a second, but this cardigan is one that everybody needs.
maxi dress / cardigan / classic gold hoops / bezel set necklace / colorful cuff bracelet / neutral wedges (size up 1/2)
Here’s the dress without the cardi…
I love this dress, and I’m not the only one. It has a couple of thousand of near perfect reviews. It’s not clingy or form fitting, but it doesn’t hang like a shapeless sack either. Another perfect travel dress. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
maxi dress / classic gold hoops / bezel set necklace / tassel necklace / neutral wedges (size up 1/2)
Here it is in olive…
This olive maxi dress is the exact same maxi you saw above in black, but now it’s just in olive. I styled the black with the heather cardigan, and I’ve styled this one with a denim jacket. Again, I wear a small in this dress. It’s soooo soft and soooooo comfy.
olive maxi dress / denim jacket / classic gold hoops / bezel set necklace / wood tassel necklace / neutral wedges (size up 1/2)
The pattern and the colors in this spaghetti strapped maxi dress are so fun. It comes in several color choices, but this one definitely stood out to me as my favorite. It obviously has spaghetti straps, and it’s smocked across the back which makes it incredibly comforting and forgiving. I’m not even wearing a bra with it here, and I’m never one to not wear a bra. However, with the smocked back, I felt comfortable not wearing one because it gave a little support. If I wasn’t wearing a jacket with it, I would definitely still wear my favorite strapless bra (ON SALE RIGHT NOW)!
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
spaghetti strapped maxi dress /denim jacket / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
This little ruffle sleeve mini dress is FABULOUS. And it has FANTASTIC reviews. AND it has pockets. AND it doesn’t wrinkle. #bam
It’s a lightweight fabric, very comfy, and has the cutest little double flounce sleeves that are so feminine and flattering. You might have to click through several colors/patterns to find your size, but there are several that I LOVE! The “blue wildflower” and the “artichoke green” (like a great Kelly green) are my favorites. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. The medium would possibly provide a more relaxed fit (without looking frumpy), but I think I’m sticking with the small.
And check out the rattan earrings ! They come in a 4 pack!
navy floral dress /rattan earrings / dainty necklace / link bracelets / strappy sandals (size up a 1/2)
Here’s the same dress as above, but long, and in a different color/pattern. It’s available in the same 6 patterns as the dress above, and it also has fantastic reviews. This long maxi is so flattering!
Same adorable flounce sleeves, same tie at the waist, same wrinkle resistant fabric, and this one has pockets too. I’m 5’4″, and it’s quite long on me with flat sandals, so it would probably work better with wedges.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
This pattern is sold out, but there are several to choose from.
long maxi / earrings / dainty necklace/neutral patent sandals
This dress is greatness. In fact, it’s one of my favorite Amazon purchases EVER.
I ordered it in both the white stripes and the black stripes, and for under $20, I didn’t even hesitate and ripped the tags off of both of them immediately. I’ve worn them COUNTLESS times and I’ve watched them COUNTLESS times, and they still look great! I’ve styled both of them with neutral accessories here, but the dresses would obviously be darling with brightly colored accessories as well. And you know I’ll throw a denim jacket over them as we near Fall.
Which one is your favorite? Like I said, don’t feel any pressure to choose. #BECAUSETWENTYDOLLARS
striped ruffle sleeve dress / rattan earrings / rattan cross body / slide sandals
This dress is dressier than all the others and it’s a great little find.
The quality is excellent. It’s fully lined and has beautiful details like a ruffle neck and flutter sleeves. This dress can easily be styled with sandals or heels, and depending on how you accessorize it could be worn everywhere from lunch with a girlfriend, to the office, or even to a more formal event! It comes in other colors and patterns which are more casual too. This pink color is gorgeous. It needed a quick steam, but I didn’t have time so just imagine it steamed. Haha.
For size reference, I’m wearing an 8 here (they sent the wrong size), but I need the 6 (and you can see me in the 6 in the next picture).
dress / gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / sandals (size up a 1/2)
This is a quintessential little black dress.
On the left, you can see it with the belt wrapped around and tied at the waist with a bow. On the right, you can see it cinched up in the back with a cute little tie, which gives you a bit of shape. It can also be worn without the belt at all like a sheath dress.
Everybody needs a great little black dress, and this is a GREAT little black dress.
black flutter sleeve dress / blingy hoop earrings / blingy star necklace / black pumps

GREAT CARDIGANS
I feel like everybody needs a denim jacket (or 2) that they LOVE and everybody needs a cardi (or 5) that they LOVE.
I mean, y’all know I love a cardigan AND THIS IS A GREAT CARDIGAN. I grabbed this one in the coral and the camel heather that you’ll see next. It’s soft and it fits great. These cardis are a great basic to have in your closet. I’m wearing a small.
cardigan / white tee /gold hoop earrings / bezel set diamond necklace / denim shorts / bracelet / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
And here it is in camel heather.
I loved it styled in the all neutral outfit. And again, most of the rest of the outfit is from Amazon including the earrings, the necklace, the bracelet, the purse, and the flip flops.
tee / cardigan / classic gold hoops / bezel set necklace / colorful cuff bracelet / white ankle jeans / gold flip flops
Here’s the v neck version of the coral and cami, but in navy! I’m wearing a small.
graphic tee / cardi / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / denim shorts / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
And just in case you wanted a better look at the graphic tee, here it is. A great message for teachers to wear in school!
This Always Stay Humble and Kind tee is super soft and stretchy. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
graphic tee / chunky gold hoops / cross necklace / denim shorts / neutral patent sandals (size up a 1/2)
This open front cardi is another great one. This is the blush and I’m wearing the small/medium. I have a ton of other cardigans I will talk about when the weather gets cooler, but the ones I’ve mentioned today are great for the start of school. It’s under $30 and I’m wearing a small.
This leopard tote is so much fun and it’s reversible...so if you aren’t brave enough for the large leopard tote, you could reverse it for a cognac tote with an awesome leopard lining inside! It comes in solid colors too, but I was drawn to the leopard. It’s made of high quality vegan leather and has the cute little tassel that hangs off one of the straps. The price is amazing at under $40, but my one complaint is that there are no interior pockets. However, this won’t be an issue if you pop in one of the bag organizers.
open front cardi / v neck slub tee /earrings / white jeans / shoreline converse /leopard tote (similar leopard tote option)

ACCESSORIES
I have tons of Amazon accessories that I’ve purchased over the last several years and absolutely love, but I think these 2 items below have to be my 2 favorites. I’ve been talking about these earrings for over a year now, I even gave them at the yearly Favorite Things party that I attend because they’re that good.
If you’ve never had huggie earrings, the post is enclosed, so they aren’t pokey at all! And I mean, I’m not a diamond expert, but I think these babies look real! And they are just $13.95! I wear these allllllllllll the time. I sleep in them, talk on the phone with them, and I do both without any discomfort. I LOVE THEM.
This is the first time you are seeing me talk about this cross necklace because I just received it myself last week. But OH MY GOODNESS it is absolutely gorgeous and it quickly rocketed it’s way to one of my top spots. It’s so dainty and feminine, and it’s so bright and sparkly! It’s not pave diamond chips, rather just tiny “diamonds”. I’m wearing the necklace in several of my dress pictures in today’s post, but I’ll hop on instastories later today to give you a better look! It has almost 4,000 reviews, and the majority are 5 stars!
pave huggie earrings / cross necklace
Both of the above pieces are from Pavoi, and I’ve had EXCELLENT luck with Pavoi pieces. They are great quality and look awesome. Here are some other favorite Pavoi pieces:
* These simple gold hoops are ones you’ve seen on me for about a year now. Totally classic and a great size.
* These chunky gold hoops are new to me. I’m wearing them in some outfits in today’s post, but I need to give you a closer look. They were recommended to me by a reader, and they have over 20,000 5 star reviews!
* This bezel set necklace that I have in both silver and gold is simple and classic.
* If you prefer a little sparkle in your hoops, these blingy hoops will be right up your alley.

Love this list and am shopping Amazon for them now. Not a teacher but I live in dresses AND cardigans. I wear one almost every day this time of year because my arms are always cold. Do you have a recommendation for a 3/4 sleeve cardigan? I prefer the 3/4 sleeve for summer and have 2 but can’t seem to find a classic that I love anywhere.
