MUST HAVE LEGGINGS…IN NEW COLORS!
I’ve got big news, y’all. THEY JUST ADDED 2 NEW COLORS OF THE MUST HAVE LEGGINGS! And listen, I don’t want to say that if they had these leggings in 10 colors I’d buy all 10, but I think we both know that I totally would. #becauseitotallywould
This is the same outfit formula you’ve seen me in before, but when you first saw this combo it was the white tee with pink leggings. I like both pieces so much, I now own both in multiple colors. I’ve been in love with the leggings since November, but now I’m in love with the tee too and have it in black, white, and pink. For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the tee and the leggings, and the sneakers are true to size.
For those of you that own the black (dark grey) leggings and thought the pink and the blue were too bright, this new soft green color is a great neutral.
I HIGHLY recommend everything I’m wearing. I’ve washed both the tee and the leggings countless times (in other colors that I’ve owned longer), and they both look as great as the day I got them.
I LOVE THE LEGGINGS. I mean, of course I do. They’re a MUST HAVE after all. They are sooooooooooooooo soft (the softest leggings I own), so comfy, and so flattering. They have a high waist band, they have banded cuffs on the bottom, AND THEY HAVE POCKETS. They fit like leggings, but they have the styling of a jogger. They don’t have as much compression as other Zella leggings, but I like that these are just crazy comfy. To be honest, I’m obsessed. I’m wearing a small.
Please don’t judge me. I got the blue too.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I got the pink tee.
I’ll wear this pink tee with black leggings for sure, but I think it’s super cute with the bright blue leggings as well. Again, I’m wearing a small in both pieces.
I really love the blue too.
And how cute are these sneakers! They have EXCELLENT reviews and come in standard colors as well if pink isn’t your thing.
I have narrow feet and the toe beds are kind of wide, so they aren’t super slimming, but they’re still super cute. I’m in my regular size here, but I’m definitely going to try down a 1/2 to see if those are better because these feel a little big. If you’re often between sizes, I definitely would size down a 1/2.
And here’s where it all started….with the black tee and the “black” must have leggings (that are more of a really dark grey).
And as a reminder…here are the pink leggings with the white tee…
A LITTLE SHOE SHOPPING
I went to the mall last week, and I visited the shoe department (as I always do). I saw several shoes that I really liked, and I came home with 1 pair. Thought y’all might like a peek at the shoes I liked!
I own the chain mules that you see on my left foot (and love them), but the mule on my right foot caught my eye too. They feel very hip and modern to me. They are square toed, minimalist, and totally chic. Both are true to size for me. Mules are a perfect transition shoe for spring, but I wear them in summer and fall as well. You don’t need both pairs, but once pair of neutral mules make a great addition to any closet.
I have these sneakers in black, grey, and a neutral color. I’ve collected them over the years and still wear all of them. I LOVE THIS NEW COLOR. It’s officially called “ash pearl/copper/white”, but it looks like rose gold to me!
Okay, y’all. These beckoned to me from across the room. Yep, THEY BECKONED.
They come in black, white, nude, mustard, gold, and this grey blue color. I think they’re awesome. I had a hard time deciding between the colors, but I ended up landing on the blue grey one (officially called “cactus suede”). I just got a black pair of sandals from Amazon, and I have several neutral and cognac sandals from over the last couple of years, so I wanted something new and different! You’ll start seeing them in outfits next week.
And great news! These are ON SALE! Size up a 1/2 size.
Let’s keep talking about shoes for another second. I saw these when browsing online at Anthro and OMG I think they are DARLING. Does anybody have them? I need somebody to tell me that they’re awesome and to buy them. SOMEBODY TELL ME TO, M’KAY?
They come in these 3 colors. The middle ones grabbed my attention at first because I love how they are so bright and colorful. However, the ones on the left are a great neutral, and the ones on the right are pretty soft pastels that I love as well.

RANDOM PICS ON MY PHONE
This is totally random, but have you seen everybody using the pillow lips filter on ig? I had to try it out for myself, and WE COULDN’T STOP LAUGHING! #omg #fillergonewrong
If you follow me on instagram stories, you might have already seen this, but on April Fool’s Day I drove my carpool of boys to the movies instead of school. I told them all that we weren’t going to tell any of the moms, but we were just going to head to the movies for the day. Everybody was playing around and acting excited, but nobody really fell for it until I actually pulled in to the theater parking lot. I won’t say who, but one of the boys was ALL ABOUT IT and seriously disappointed when we all screamed April Fools. I’m telling you, he was ALL IN. It was a riot. He’s gonna be the fun kid in college. Haha!
It was super bright, which is why some of them couldn’t even open their eyes, but I had to get the Cinemark logo in the background.
Our neighbor and friend (Mallie) is Carter’s age, and she is an EXCELLENT baker. She’s always making us warm homemade chocolate chip cookies and you wouldn’t believe the girl’s churros. They are TO DIE FOR. Monday was my birthday, and she brought us some birthday/Easter cupcakes. So sweet! Carter is a huge fan of her baking.
AMAZON FAVORITES THAT ARE BACK!
Y’all, I’m so excited! I keep finding some of my Amazon favorites from year’s past that have been restocked! These are items that I personally own and highly recommend.
When I talked about this dress last year, this pattern sold out…BUT IT’S BACK!
And this swingy maxi dress is fabulous.
It comes in tons of color options, BUT THIS IS THE ONE I FELL IN LOVE WITH. Seriously, how great are these colors! And this floral print is GORGEOUS.
I’m wearing a small here.
I think this dress is actually better suited for smaller chested gals (there’s no stretch up top), so I will have to wear it with a jacket like above.
BUT GOOD GRIEF I LOVE THE COLORS AND PATTERN. THIS DRESS IS SO GOOD. The fit is a bit like a glorified mumu, and I’m here for it.
Two years ago I got this same popover in the “blue classic stripe” and I loved it. Now here’s the problem… I CANNOT FIND IT TO SAVE MY LIFE. Like, where in the world did it go? I also can’t find a picture of me in it, but I had it and loved it.
I’m so happy I grabbed this white/cardinal stripe one too. My favorite way to wear it is to leave the top 2 buttons open and casually cuff the sleeves up 2 cuffs. This is a great shirt.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, which is most often true to size for me with shirts that have buttons and/or no give in the chest.
I LOVE the earrings too. You’ll get a close up of them later.
I MEAN. COME ON. THIS IS A DARLING SHIRT.
These are the patent sandals that I’m wearing above. And listen, nobody is as surprised as me, because I normally don’t like sandals where a piece goes in between my toes. I initially ordered them only because there were lots of readers asking for reviews on them, and I just assumed I wouldn’t like them for me personally. Well, you know what they say about assuming.
They have a padded foot bed so they are comfy, the piece between my toes doesn’t bother me at all (as it often does in flip flops), and I love the neutral patent so much (although it does come in lots of other color choices as well).
I would recommend sizing up a 1/2. Click HERE for the sandals. Mine are the “almond”, but they come in TONS of colors.
I’ve shown several tiered skirts like this from Amazon in the past, and they are always a big hit with y’all! I LOVE THEM, so I’m excited that you ladies do too. They are comfy, flattering, easy to wear, and absolutely adorable.
This one might be my favorite I’ve shown. The exact pattern I’m wearing here is “purple/pink” (1st left on bottom row), and I love that it’s a fun and playful leopard pattern. There are lots to choose from, so I suggest checking them all out.
And get this. It’s $18.99. That’s crazy town.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
I’m wearing it with a grey tee above, and a white tee here. I think it looks great with both.
I thought this shot gave you a better look at the colors and the pattern of the skirt.
This scalloped dress is ADORABLE. The one I’m wearing is the “pink-no stretch”. AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. This dress is actually quite tight for me across the chest, and I don’t think sizing up would work because the lower half of the dress would be too big. But if you don’t have sizing issues because of your chest, just go with your regular size. The details on this dress are so pretty! The little pleated sleeve! The little scalloped hem! And great news…it’s lined so it’s not see thru!
Tip: When you click on the link for the dress, it will look like it’s linking to the wrong dress, but click around to find it. It’s also available in a white eyelet and a soft blue!
Amazon has tons of accessories, but I’m going to be honest, lots of accessories that I’ve ordered have been BIG FAT misses. The next 3 pics have some of my favorite Amazon accessory finds for spring and summer!
top row: teardrop beaded earrings
bottom row: beaded tassel earrings
These bracelets are so colorful!
This rainbow bracelet set is so affordable and so flipping cute.
Y’all loved this ruffle sleeve dress when I showed it the first time.
It’s under $30, 100% cotton, and has a darling little flutter sleeve. It’s lightweight with a little bit of stretch and just so darn cute! I’m wearing it here with the strappy sandals (that I think EVERYBODY needs), but it would also be cute dressed up with wedges and even cuter dressed down with Converse. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
If you don’t like this color, there are lots of options!
And thank heavens these undies are back! Last year I asked on instastories if there were certain Amazon finds that were y’alls favorites, and several of you raved about these undies. So I got them. #yalltoldmeto
And y’all were right. They’re good. And I can’t believe the price! They are very soft, very light weight, and they stay put! AND THEY ARE CHEAP! Click HERE for the undies. I wear a small.
A reader (shout out, Sam!) recommended that I try this button up a couple of years ago. THANK YOU, SAM! I often have trouble with button ups pulling, so I didn’t have high hopes. BUT I LOVE IT. I went with a medium, which I most often do in button ups, and I liked the fit a lot.
This particular plaid immediately sold out, BUT IT’S BACK!!!
When Sam told me about this shirt, she said that she owns 6 and loves them for both office and weekend wear! Hey, I get it Sam. Click HERE to see all of the color options. This great shirt is just ONLY $21.90!
