Errand Outfit

So what I’m wearing in today’s post is work out gear…but the day I wore it, it was simply an errand outfit.  🙂  And let’s be honest, I’ll wear it lots of days in the future without going near a gym or work out video.  Okay, let’s be really honest….I haven’t been to a gym since Spring Break of like 2012.  (Remember that day Shay, Erika, and Jeni?  It’s the day the stationary bike showed me who was boss, and I’ve literally never been back.)   Anyhoo, the outfit is obviously perfect for working out.  But you know what else it’s perfect for?  Lounging around.  Doing errands.  And eating Mexican food.  Because the day I wore this outfit last week, I ate it twice.  #oops

So here I am running out the door to get stuff done for the day.  Without a gym in sight.  🙂  These Zella leggings are the 3rd pair of striped Zella leggings (all in different colorways) I’ve bought over the last 3 years.  I don’t know what it is about them, but the stripes just make them so dang flattering.  And the jacket?  OBSESSED.  I wear it with leggings, I wear it with jeans, I wear it all the time.  In the past I’ve bought Zella jackets, but they are much shorter and quite fitted. My new Nike jacket covers the booty and isn’t fitted at all.  It’s awesome.  I’m wearing a small in the leggings (true to size) and a small in the jacket (true to size).  I might could have sized down in the jacket, but I really wanted it to be a bit over-sized (without looking too big or sloppy).  So anyway, the small was perfect for me.

See why I love the jacket so much?  The long front, the even longer back, the material, the fun neck and hood…I love it all. This jacket isn’t cheap, but I thought it was worth the splurge.  I know it’s going to be a work horse in my closet.

If you want a similar look for quite a bit less money, THIS jacket is being price matched right now.  It’s not nearly as long though, which is what I really like about my jacket.

And y’all. The shoes.  I was in need of a pair of new sneaks, and the 39/45 5 STAR REVIEWS convinced me to give this pair a try.  They are sooooo flipping cute, I’ve received tons of compliments on them, AND THEY ARE COMFY AS ALL GET OUT.

And the leggings?  Well like I said, it’s my 3rd pair in 3 years.  And I’m still wearing (AND LOVING) my first pair from 3 years ago.  I can’t say enough good things about them.  They aren’t see through, they stay put, and like I mentioned before…HELLO, FLATTERING.

THIS BLOUSE is fabulous.  FABULOUS!  And it’s NOW ON SALE for $26.98!!!

Do you see how it looks like I’m doing a 1/2 tuck in front?  WELL, I’M NOT!  It’s just how the blouse is made!   AND IT’S GENIUS.  Short and kind of twisted and drapey in the front and long in the back!!! I’m wearing a small, so I think it’s true to size.  It’s not see through, and you don’t have to wear a cami do to sheerness.  Some have said they do wear a cami because they feel like the top is low on them and they need it. Sometimes I wear a cami, sometimes I don’t.

My sweater with a little extra oomph just went 40% OFF!  AND SO DID MY GREY JEANS!!!!!  AND SO DID MY WATCH!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!   This sweater is definitely special (which is why I bought it with the hefty price tag at full price)!  Ha!  I realllllllly like the black and white striped one too.  For size reference, I sized up to a medium in the sweater.  I actually really liked the way the small fit…except  for the fact that it pulled across the back where the lace pleat is. Like this dress!

This sweater dress has great reviews and I fell in love with it the second it arrived.  It also comes in grey, red, and black and comes in regular, petite, and tall!  I’m wearing a small petite.  I often wear petites in dressing, so this was true to size for me.   The small does have some room in it, but I don’t like a fitted sweater dress.  If you do, consider sizing down 1 size.

This is one of those items that you just throw on and look amazing!  I love the detail of the pleats at the shoulders and a tiny little button on the cuff of the sleeve.  The dress, the necklace, the leggings, and some similar boots are ALL ON SALE!!!

This chambray collared tunic is 60% OFF as well and has FANTASTIC reviews.  I put it on right out of the box, so it needed an iron on the crease mark from where it had been folded, but I loved this top.  I’m wearing a small, and at almost 5’4″ it was just long enough for me to wear with leggings.  If you are taller or if you have a longer torso, you might want to consider sizing up if you plan on wearing it with leggings.  I forgot to take a picture of the back, but it has pretty pleats coming from the shoulders.

Y’all.  THIS HOODIE is one of my Top 3 most worn items in my closet right now.  It’s sooooooooo incredibly soft, it’s warm (but not too heavy), and it comes in 3 colors.  I’m wearing the x-small/small and it’s roomy.  You will be in it several times a week.  ????
