Cute and Comfy at the Ranch (And Christmas Ideas for the Family!)

Now that Carter is 11 years old, gone are the days of me dressing him.  Goodbye jeans and button ups.  #RIP

In fact, he’s so happy, that he doesn’t even mind taking pictures and breaking out some fancy poses.

He picked out this hoodie himself and absolutely loves it.  Remember that we call him Captain Cozy, and it definitely meets his cozy standards.  Plus, he has recently become super picky about both the shirts and the shoes he wears.  His only requirements for his pants are that they are comfy…but his shirts, hoodies, jackets, and sneakers all have to look cool too.

It was super windy on this particular day, and both the hoodie and the leggings kept me warm.  I’ll tell you this, I’ll never forget pony tail holders on a ranch trip ever again.  My hair was blowing all over the place!

When at the ranch during the colder months, we always spend a lot of time gathered up with lots of family members around the camp fire.

And here’s just something about being together as a family on the family land.  I sneak lots of extra hugs, and he doesn’t ever seem to mind.
