Let’s start out with the new sweater tunic I got just last week.  It comes in 9 colorways total and I wear it with both jeans and leggings.  It would also look great with cords or nice slacks for the office.  I’m wearing my regular size (a small )and it’s definitely long enough for leggings on my 5’4″ frame.  If you are planning on wearing it with leggings, I suggest your regular size.  If you just want to wear it with jeans, you might consider sizing down.

I haven’t owned a pair of tall black boots in probably 5 years or so, maybe more.  I typically just gravitate towards browns, taupes, and other neutrals…because even if I’m wearing them with black pants or a black top…I like the contrast they give.

But now that I have these over the knee boots in black, I COULDN’T LOVE THEM MORE.  In fact, after wearing them with several outfits already, I’m starting to wonder how in the wonder I lived without black boots for so many years.  It’s like they add a touch of sophistication to whatever I’m wearing!  They are true to size, incredibly comfy, and they go great with both jeans and leggings.

The bag is 40% OFF with the code EARLY 40.  It’s very large (16.5″ W x 11″ H x 3.25″ D) and can hold all sort of things.  It has 2 interior zippered pockets and 2 media pockets, and it’s made of a GORGEOUS leather.  It comes in a pretty cognac too, but since I was really wanting to mix things up a bit for myself (and I already have several cognac bags), I chose the black.  And just like the boots, I’ve been totally surprised at how much I love the black bag! It can be worn on the shoulder or cross body style.  And you can unzip it along the handbag’s edges to expand its depth, if you so choose.  The gold hardware is totally chic, but is also a bit edgy.  This is a classic bag that I will be carrying for years and years.

We all need a basic black sweater in our closets, but this one has these really great sleeves that make it special.  It’s incredibly soft, and the bottom of it can be pulled down long or gathered up to be worn a bit shorter.  I would say that the bottom of the sweater is long enough for leggings when pulled down, but I think it would be too fitted for my liking with leggings.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the sweater.

I bought these navy ankle skinnies sometime last year and they are very versatile.  I’m wearing a 4 Regular in the pants, and a medium in the top (but I need a small).

This first look with these trousers could be worn to the office, or even to a more casual holiday party!  The sweater has sheer sleeves with little pin dots and is so pretty in person.  I felt better with a black cami underneath it because the sweater material was rather thin, but the sleeves make the top! I also thought it would be fun to put together a look that would be great for a fancier holiday party!  The red is gorgeous and perfect for holiday attire, and the black lace really fancies the outfit up!  A lace top and pants is pretty much my go to for a fancy party.  I generally feel so much more comfortable in pants than a dress, and the lace is such a nice touch.
