Sometimes I pin an outfit just because I like it.
Sometimes I pin an outfit because I want to add a specific piece to my wardrobe (an ex. of this in just a minute).
Sometimes I pin an outfit because when I look at it I immediately know that I have everything needed to be a big ol’ copy cat.
This was one of those times.
BAM.

Black and White Striped Shirt| LOFT
Khaki cords| LOFT

I mean…REALLY.
I had EVERYTHING.
It was too easy.

Okay…so I wanted to share an example of an outfit I pinned, simply because it made me want to buy a certain piece of clothing to add to my closet.  It also made me want to be this girl’s friend.
Even though I could probably be her mother.
Shut it Shay.

THIS….

ooh. la. la.
Them’s some pretty boots.

 
I thought THESE were a nice option too  (for less $$)!

Let’s break it down.
1)  I live in Texas.
2)  My husband’s family has a ranch house that we go to all the time.
3) I don’t just want some cowboy boots,
I NEED them.
4)  I should be ashamed of myself for not having a pair.
Agreed?
Good.
I should probably remedy that.

    Love the outfit! I actually have that same black and white striped (and dotted) top from LOFT, but haven't worn it yet! I couldn't quite figure out what to pair it with because it didn't seem dressy enough for work, but too dressy for regular jeans. Now I know what to wear it with! Thanks!

    Can I just say, I love love love your blog. It's so good to see someone that can actually recreate the looks from Pinterest without looking like they are trying to hard! You make the most chic look look like it is for everyday wear and makes me more confident that I can recreate pins too! I love it!
