Today’s post is one of my favorite posts each and every month. Today I’m going to share your Top 12 picks from April.

Not surprisingly, many of y’alls Top 12 picks are in my top picks for the month as well. All 12 items I’m featuring today are items that I added to my own closet, and because of that, they are items that you will continue to see on the blog (as long as they are in stock). And what’s extra great about this favorites list is that all 12 items are UNDER $100, the majority are under $80, several are under $50, and severalare even under $30! The picks that made this month’s top list are from Nordstrom, Amazon, and Kohl’s.

This puff sleeve sweatshirt is lightweight, so I will still wear it even into summer. The cuffs and hem are banded, and the puff sleeves are adorable. It also comes in a solid white, green, and blue. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

3) t-shirt dress / Okay, ladies! How do you feel about an absolutely DARLING striped dress that is ONLY $29!?! It’s not fitted, but it’s not boxy either, it’s just the kind of fit I love. I’ll dress it up with wedges, and I’ll dress it down with sneakers. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. This is the pink stripe, but it comes in 14 colors.

And you know it looks great with a denim jacket thrown on top.

I’ve highlighted pieces from this particular brand before, and I’m thrilled to have found more pieces to add to my closet.

Y’all know I love Vuori pieces, and FLX totally gives Vuori vibes, but for a fraction of the price.  And great news… the skirt and skort I’m wearing today are always an awesome price point, but right now they are ON SALE!

Let’s talk about the shirt.

Okay… so I often roll my eyes when other influencers say “I’m obsessed”…. BUT I’M OBSESSED.

First of all, this tee is stupid soft. Seriously SO BUTTERY SOFT.

It’s a great mid-weight (so a bit thicker than the Vuori tees that I love), and dare I say I love these more. AND RIGHT NOW, THIS TEE IS ONLY $19.99. The Vuori Energy tee I love is $58, so this is obviously a bargain. It has the same relaxed fit, but it’s a bit longer (without being too long). You can totally wear it out without a half-tuck and it will still look great, I just happen to always default to the half-tuck.

I’m wearing “mauve foundation” here, but it also comes in a black, olive, and grey option. And y’all might think I’m crazy, but I’m getting all the colors. I mean, I can get 3 for what 1 Vuori tee usually costs me, so I’m going ALL
IN.

For size reference, I’m wearing a large here. I wasn’t sure what size to order because I hate a fitted athleisure tee; HOWEVER, I’m ordering a medium in the other 3 colors and am confident it will still be a relaxed fit. UPDATE: My new tees came in, and I actually prefer the fit of the medium.

10) faux pearl drop earrings / Y’all, these faux pearl drop earrings are fabulous, and I wore them all month long with dressy looks. They are big enough to make a statement, but still understated enough that you could wear them with all different sorts of outfits.

Here they are with three dressy looks early in the month…

This floral midi dress is absolutely charming. I love the navy, but it comes in coral too. It has a super comfortable smocked waist and a great deep v-neck (that’s not too deep) and it does have a modesty snap. It also has pockets and elbow length sleeves, two of my favorite dress features. I’ve styled it with my favorite heeled sandals, but it would be great with flat sandals too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This dress isn’t for me because it’s longer than I’d like and the hemline is like a shirt hemline, which I don’t love (you can see the hemline in the next pic).

Still, I think this dress is fabulous and it could be a great fit for some of you taller girls and it’s NOW ON SALE! The print is whimsical, and I love the shirt dress styling. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I would be happier with the fit of a small.

This dress is fun, flirty, and flattering! And I think it has some Farm Rio vibes with the bold pattern and design details. You can totally customize and cinch in the waist to your liking. This one is just a tad bit longer than I prefer, but that’s great news for you taller ladies (I’m 5’4″). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And although the earrings lean dressy, they are cute with more casual looks too…

I’ve got another cap sleeve sweater, but this one has the cutest retro floral pattern. This is the apricot version, but it also comes in black, caramel, olive, navy, and a really pretty blush. This sweater is well made a really great look for right at only $26! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This  eyelet top comes in 26 colors, so there’s something for everybody. Only the top buttons are functional, so you just slip it over your head. The open neckline, the tiny ruffle collar, the subtle puff sleeves, and the eyelet pattern are all fabulous. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

11) raffia sandals / These sandals need a moment. Because they’re awesome. They were actually a favorite of mine last year, and they continue to be.

To be honest, I’m completely smitten with them. The texture! The buckle! The scalloped edge! It’s all soooo good! True to size for me. They also come in a neutral, a coastal blue, an olive green, a dark rose, a buttercup, and a coral. The names don’t do the colors justice, you need to click over to see them.

The reviews are FANTASTIC (there are 170 reviews and almost all are 5 STARS), and they are UNDER $100.

And here’s the deal… Like I said, I actually purchased these last year. However, even though I still LOVE THEM, I went to get a new pair of sandals this year because that’s how the blogging business works. I find new items and talk about them. WELL. I tried on no less than 10 pairs of new sandals, and I didn’t like any of them even half as much as I like these.

They’re fabulous. End of story.

I wore them all month with all sorts of different outfits, but here’s a couple…

This striped v-neck sweater is from Boden, one of my very favorite brands because all of the clothes are vibrant and adorable. Now Boden’s price point is often a bit high, but I often find that the clothes are worth it. Several of my favorite pieces over the last several years are actually Boden pieces because they always feel special. This sweater is 100% linen and very lightweight. It’s basic t-shirt styling, but super elevated.

I think it’s cute here worn casually with my new patch pocket denim shorts. They’re from Wit and Wisdom, our favorite denim brand, and they have the signature fit and stretch that we’ve all fallen in love with. And how cute are the oversized patch pockets! For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

And as much as I love it with the above denim shorts, look how fantastic it looks with my favorite ecru jeans! These jeans are one of my Top 3 finds for the year, and they’ve been on y’alls Top 12 list several times as well. They are actually a great year-round jean because they look awesome with booties in the fall and winter, but they look just as great with wedges and sandals in the summer! I love the fit and the frayed hem. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

I have 3 shorts sleeve sweatshirts that I’ve owned for several years now, and they are 3 of the most worn items in my closet. One is orange, one is cream, and one is hot pink. Because I know how much I wear tops like this, I’m thrilled to add this sweatshirt to my closet. Now I’ve got a 4th one in the rotation! This is the “pink tender”, but it reads as a soft lilac to me. I love the elbow length sleeves, the banded hem, and the lace insets at the shoulders. If you have a long torso, this might be shorter than you’d like, but I don’t have to worry about that with my non-existent torso. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This boho maxi dress has ruched straps, a smocked bust, and a bold pattern all over. Because the straps are nice and thick you can wear your regular bra, which is a nice little bonus. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This babydoll top looks like Anthropologie, but it’s not! It’s DARLING and UNDER $30, y’all.

This is the navy blue, but there are so many colors that I love. In fact, this is one of those pieces that I can see lots of people buying in 2 colors. It’s 100% cotton and the contrasting piping really makes the top. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

12) turquoise earrings / If you’re looking for the perfect summer earrings, I’VE FOUND THEM! They are super lightweight, and I love that they combine the textured raffia with beautiful turquoise beads. I’M SERIOUSLY IN LOVE and will be wearing these all spring and summer long. The blouse is fabulous too.

This fabulous dress is beautifully made and UNDER $40. It’s 100% cotton WITH POCKETS, has a great little split neck, subtle puff sleeves, a drawstring waist, an eyelet pattern, and a ruffled skirt. Oh, and it’s fully lined! It’s DARLING. I fell in love with this vibrant “bright red tomato” (a red/orange combo), but it also comes in classic black and white. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I needed a medium for the chest, but a small would have been fine otherwise.

The ecru jeans made it in to the Top 12 again. But hey, I totally get it. They were actually#1 in February, and they were still in the top 3 in March. THEY’RE THAT GOOD.

This particular pair is a perfectly neutral “ecru”, but they come in 3 other color options as well. They are ankle cropped flares with a frayed hem, and I love them so much. They do have the Ab Solution power mesh panels that we all appreciate, and they enable the jeans to be super flattering and super comfy at the same time. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I used to wear the “whisper thin” Madewell v-neck tee all the time. It was a good tee at a good price point, but it wasn’t the best quality because it was pretty thin. This white tee is my new favorite white tee. It’s made of a 100% cotton jersey, the fit is perfect, and it’s not see-through at all. Heads up that is does run small. I’m in a medium, and the fit is actually great for a base layering piece, but I would probably want it a bit looser if I was wearing it on its own.

How fun is this striped quarter zip! I’m completely smitten with the pink and green stripes, and y’all know I always love a quarter zip. I’m wearing a medium here and it’s quite oversized. I think I would actually prefer the fit of the small. There are 15 striped combos to choose from, so there’s something for everybody.

This pearl button cardigan is just plain sweet. The color combo is so interesting (I love it), and the pearls are such a wonderful touch. I think it looks great all buttoned up like this, but it would also look great with a cami or tee under it. There’s also a blue, green, and cream combo and a brown, rust, and cream combo that I love as well. I’m obsessed with the Unseen Sunscreen. This stuff is incredible. It’s velvety in texture and it totally just glides on your skin, even over your makeup. I put this product on every single day. If I’m wearing make-up, I use it as a primer, but I can also reapply it over make-up. It’s one of my very favorite products EVER.

My skin absorbs the Unseen Sunscreen very quickly (like IMMEDIATELY!) and there is NO TRACE of it. It’s not oily or greasy, it gives a matte finish, and it doesn’t leave any white residue behind either. Also, from reading reviews, it seems it’s awesome for people with super sensitive skin. I’m telling you, the product is absolutely incredible.

Glow Screen / Unseen Sunscreen

I named these sheets a MUST HAVE years ago, and I love them even more now than I did then. They are incredibly soft, and they launder beautifully. I have some sets that are several years old, and they still look brand new. They don’t pill at all.

So before they came out with the conditioner, I would use small amounts of this mask as my daily conditioner. In fact, I loved how my hair felt so much after using it that I was pretty sure I wouldn’t love the conditioner as much, and I would just continue to use this mask as my conditioner.

HOWEVER, I fell in love with conditioner too, and now I use the mask more as an intensive hair treatment. My goal is to use it once a week, but the truth is, I just use it when I have some extra time to spend in the shower. Instead of using just a tiny bit like I used to, I now use a good amount, massage it all over my head, and I like to leave it in for a bit to get the full benefit. I like to leave it in for a minimum of 5 minutes, but a couple of times I’ve even been known to get out of the shower and vacuum the house or something with it in before rinsing it out.

Here’s my mom’s story with the hair products…. A couple of years ago she started noticing that her hair was “getting old” – her words, not mine. 😉 My mom has always had great hair, but she said it had all of a sudden started to become dry and brittle.
